Adda52.com Hosts Another Successful Tourney with More than 800 Participants

Adda52 has done it again. More than 800 players participated in the Depositor ₹5 Lakhs tourney, making it the first time that an online tournament in India has seen such a huge participation. A good 90 players got a chance to share the prize pool in the event that took place on Nov 15.

This was a special promotion which ran during the Diwali season and the buzz in the poker community was palpable. The promotion was a Depositors Freeroll Tournament with ₹5 Lakhs in prize money up for grabs and the qualification criteria was simple; players were required to deposit a minimum of ₹500 using a special code, to receive a free ticket DiwaliDepTKT to the event. New and existing users were both eligible to play in this event.

The registration for the tournament opened on Nov 5 and soon saw a steady stream of registrations fill up the tournament lobby. However, it was D-day i.e. Nov 15 that saw the maximum participation. By the time the clock ticked 9 pm, 818 participants had registered for the Freeroll. The No-Limit Hold`em tournament was a freezeout event that paid out the top 90 players.
