WSOP 2019: Aditya S Bags the Largest Stack Among 14 Indians on Day 1C of the $1,111 Little One For One Drop

The last and final starting flight of Event #75: $1000 +$111 Little One for One Drop is now in the books. More than 3,200 entries were logged in on Day 1C, and after 10 levels of play, the field whittled down to 1,267 runners who were left in contention for the yet to be announced top prize and the coveted gold bracelet.

Indian contenders turned up in large numbers for Day 1C, and at the end of the day’s play, 14 challengers were able to advance to Day 2. The frontrunner among them was Aditya S who bagged a stack of 184,600 (115 big blinds). These 14 challengers will join their fellow countrymen who had advanced from Day 1A and Day 1B. Day 1B qualifier Rahul Byrraju (248,500 – 155 big blinds) will be leading the group of 25 Indians to Day 2.

Nikolay Fal (437,000 – 273 big blinds) bagged the most massive stack on Day 1C, however, Day 1A chip leader Leandry Ainonkpo (726,600 – 454 big blinds) is the overall chip leader and will headline the survivors from all three starting flights to Day 2 which will commence at 1 PM (Pacific Time Zone) on July 9.

 

Event #75: $1000 +$111 Little One for One Drop – Day 1C

Over 3,200 entries were registered for the last and final starting flight of the $1,111 Little One for One Drop. Once the dust had settled following the 10 levels of scheduled play, only 1,267 players were left in the running.

14 Indians had also managed to book a seat for Day 2, with Aditya S leading from the front. S was last seen playing Day 1B of the $10K Main Event, but he had failed to make it to Day 2AB. Taking a few days off, he was back at the Rio where he managed to carry forward a stack of 184,600 (115 big blinds) to Day 2 in the Little One for One Drop/

Shashank Jain (179,300 – 112 big blinds), Kunal Punjwani (85,500 – 53 big blinds) and Kunal Patni (63,600 – 40 big blinds) were among the 15 Indians who had made it to Day 3 of the Main Event. All three of them busted before the end of the play and jumped straight into Day 1C of the Little One for One Drop. All three players managed to find advance to Day 2.

Karan Radia (167,100 – 104 big blinds), Vivek Rughani (166,600 – 104 big blinds), Nipun Java (162,300 – 101 big blinds), Dhaval Mudgal (76,900 – 48 big blinds), Muskan Sethi (71,200 – 46 big blinds), Ankush Agarwala (62,600 – 39 big blinds), Kalyan Chakravarthy (57,600 – 36 big blinds), Chirag Patel (41,700 – 26 big blinds), PokerGuru Ambassador Ashish Ahuja (37,300 – 23 big blinds) and Naresh Veeravalli (32,300 – 20 big blinds), rounded out Team India`s chip counts at the end of Day 1C.

A large number of Indian-origin players were also seen in action and among them several were able to carry their stacks to Day 2 including Raminder Singh (177,200), D A (anonymity requested) (159,700), Nauvneel Kashyap (147,100), Anthony Desai (146,600), Apoorv Bajpai (145,500), Supan Shah (100,100), Sanket Desai (92,700), Ronit Chamani (86,000), Manish Vaswani (78,000), Tarun Ravi (73,100), Ashok Sobhani (59,300), and Rupom Pal (39,600).

Nikolay Fal (437,000 – 273 big blinds) took hold of the pole position at the end of Day 1C bagging the largest stack among the 1,267 survivors.
