Poker Vlogger Andrew Neeme is undoubtedly one of the most popular online figures in the poker circuit, and trailing only poker superstar Daniel Negreanu in the number of subscribers following him on YouTube. Neeme has also become the latest poker professional to join Jason Somerville’s highly ranked Twitch channel, Run it Up in a collaborative partnership with Somerville.
On Monday, Neeme and Somerville announced their intention to collaborate and work together. The duo shared the screen in a video uploaded on Neeme’s YouTube channel where they informed the audience that they would be joining forces not just in each other’s videos but also their associated brands. In essence, Neeme will be seen on Run It Once’s live stream content and live-action tournaments.
Talking about their partnership in the YouTube video, Somerville said, “I’m really excited about this there are so many cool things that we can do together.”
Echoing Somerville’s words, Neeme acknowledged that juggling a poker career with vlogging isn’t easy. Between editing video and playing cards without much assistance, there isn’t much time left in the day. Which is why, he said, Someville was perfect to partner with.
“Jason and his entire crew bring an entire suite of services to their stable of creators. The biggest task that they can help with is the video editing,”Neeme stated. The Nevada resident indicated that he planned to contribute in a big way to the Run It Up brand and will be joining Twitch soon.
He also added that a lot had to be done along this partnership. “It’s unlikely that I’ll immediately be able to just dump all my raw footage in their hands and they’ll churn out a polished vlog that looks and sounds exactly like what I would’ve done with the same footage. I think there will be a process to it all.”
As part of this new partnership, Somerville also attended Neeme’s regular meet-up cash game at Westgate Casino, Las Vegas this week.
Notably, Run It Up entered a partnership with PokerStars earlier in June with the missive to create a team of broadcasting superstars. Twitch streamer Arlie Shaban joined Run It Up in early August while Lex Veldhius, Jeff Gross, Kevin Martin, and Jamie Staples have all been part of the RIU pro team.
Neeme on the other hand owns an apparel brand and uses social media for rallying up meet-up cash games (MUG) at different poker venues across the world.
With Neeme now also joining the ranks, Run It Up subscribers will benefit from the combined prowess of Somerville and Neeme in the platform’s offerings.
