Latest reports have come in stating that Anil Gulati (cover image) has split ways from Casino Pride. In Nov 2014, we had related how Delta Corp had unceremoniously shunted Anil Gulati out from Casino Deltin Royale, after IPC`s Amin Rozani, Sameer Rattonsey and Rajeev Kanjani took over the management at Deltin Royale poker room.
Gulati, one of India`s most experienced poker room operators from way back 2009, immediately joined hands with Madhav ‘Maddy’ Gupta of Casino Pride, Goa’s second most popular poker venue.
News has now come in that Anil Gulati and his team have exited the Pride Poker Room. PokerGuru spoke to Mohit Sabharwal from Anil Gulati`s team, who cited “different ideologies” as the reason behind the split.
On his part, Maddy denied any dispute and said, “Anil is an old hand at the business and we at pride benefited from his experience, we also wish the best of luck to him for his latest venture“.
In Nov, Maddy had stated, “Anil is currently on an exploratory role to see how best we can synergise for the best experience for the players.”
Evidently, the exploration has now officially ended and at last count, it was heard that Gulati is now evaluating his options at the Deltin JAQK Poker Room and a few casino`s in Sri Lanka and is expected to announce his plans shortly.
