APPT still has the season ending 2015 Asia Championship of Poker (ACOP) to go before closing out Season 9. The 2015 ACOP gets underway today at PokerStars LIVE at the City of Dreams, Macau and the 17-day series will play host to 15 official ACOP Spadie events.

The headline event once again will be the HK $100,000 buy-in Main Event that takes place from Nov 9-14. Once again a sizeable Indian contingent is expected to embark on the mission to win some Spadies and among the early arrivals at the series is Kunal Patni – a regular now on the Asian tournament circuit. Patni won a Spadie at this series last year and since then has been on a heater in Asian tournaments with an impressive nine final table finishes, but a second title has so far eluded him. Patni will be looking to change that in the next two weeks. Joining him in Macau is Meherzad Munsaf, who comes in fresh off his fourth place finish in the India Poker Championship (IPC) October Edition Main Event.

The Indian contingent is only expected to expand with many top pros arriving in the next few days. So stay tuned on PokerGuru for all the latest updates from 2015 ACOP.
