APT Asian Poker Series Cambodia 2015: Dhaval Mudgal & Rajat Sharma Make Day 2 of Main Event; Events 3, 4 & 5 Find Winners

The APT Asian Series Cambodia 2015 is now into its 4th day and three more events have found new champions. Both Dhaval Mudgal and Rajat Sharma are in action at the series and have made it to Day 2 in the Main Event. Among the side events, Mudgal busted the Headhunter event and Sharma was eliminated from Event 5 – Bounty event.

 

$1,100 Main Event Day 1A

59 runners signed up for the $1,100 Main Event on Day 1A and US player David Farber (cover image) emerged chip leader with 105,000 chips. India`s Rajat Sharma and Dhaval Mudgal played Day 1A and have made Day 2 in the Main Event.

Rajat updated the progress on FB,

“We make it to day 2 of APT Cambodia Main Event with 27 bigs. Dhaval Mudgal has a monster stack. Let’s run it up.”

Mudgal too tweeted his progress throughout the event,

 

Event 3 – No Limit Hold’em 1

French player Brice Augustyn won the $220 NLH 1 for $2,970. The event drew an entry-crowd of 55 players.

Event 4 – Open Face Chinese Pineapple Shootout 18 Max

The event had 17 entries and only the top three players were awarded the prize money. Kai Danilo Paulsen of Norway was the winner, collecting $1,650.

Event 5 – Head Hunter US$60/Bounty

French player Nory Bouguern was champion of the $330 Head Hunter bounty tournament for $4,030, after overcoming a field of 68 entries.

India`s Dhaval Mudgal and Rajat Sharma both played the event, but were eliminated early on.

Dhaval updated his FB status saying,

“And we are here! Headhunter today! #‎TeamThrill #‎APTCambodia

“2 quick bullets and onto the cash game. Meh”

Sharma spoke to PokerGuru about his bustout hand after the event, “I busted K9 to AK for 7 bigs, had lost a big pot earlier QQ<KT Aipf BvB”
