This Sunday was an eventful one by all means, with PokerStars India’s Winter Series and Adda52’s Nano Poker Series coming to an end.
PokerGuru Ambassador Ashish Munot was the day`s biggest winner as he shipped Spartan Poker`s Sunday Superstack for the second time in less than a month for ₹9.66 Lakhs. ‘bluechipp’ came second for ₹6.14 Lakhs.
Narrowly missing out on grabbing the day’s single most significant score was the user ‘nerfhitler’ who won the Adda52 Millions for ₹9.33 Lakhs. Mohit Kumar Singh placed runner-up for ₹5.65 Lakhs.
Amit Kaushik was the last player standing in Adda52’s Nano Main Event and got his hands on the ₹5.67 Lakhs first-place cash prize. Aayush Arya came second for ₹3.34 Lakhs. Kaushik rounded out his Sunday run with ₹6.53 Lakhs in cumulative earnings on the back of four ITM finishes.
PokerStars India’s Winter Series wrapped up yesterday with the ₹30 Lakhs GTD Winter Series – 40 Main Event playing down to a winner! Daniel ‘Dan0379’ Rymbei clinched the title for ₹6.88 Lakhs, while PokerGuru Ambassador Ankit Wadhawan secured the runner-up payday worth ₹4.39 Lakhs. Wadhawan added over ₹5.16 Lakhs in Sunday winnings across four deep runs.
Mohit Dhingra took down PokerBaazi’s BSS SuperStack for ₹4.42 Lakhs following a four-way chop with ‘vishakdelhi’ (2nd for ₹3.73 Lakhs), ‘anand85’ (3rd for ₹3.58 Lakhs), and Harsh Bubna (4th for ₹3.40 Lakhs).
PokerGuru Ambassador Ashutosh Balodhi, Tarush Gupta, Uttam Kumar Sinha, Areyann Gurbaxani, Aniket Jain, Sandeep Malik, Ujjwal Rana, Vishal Krishna, and Murali Tharan G were the other prominent winners.

With just three days left for the 12th edition of the IOPC to commence, Spartan Poker’s Sunday roster was relatively lighter! Once again, the ₹35 Lakhs GTD Sunday Superstack was the headline tournament of the day. The ₹11,000 buy-in tourney locked in 496 entries, posing a guarantee-smashing ₹49.60 Lakhs prize pool.
PokerGuru Ambassador Ashish ‘Donkey 07’ Munot had a relatively quiet 2021, but he`s started 2022 with a bang. Less than a month after winning the Sunday Superstack, Munot took down the Sunday flagship for a second time, netting ₹9.66 Lakhs. ‘bluechipp’ finished runner-up for ₹6.14 Lakhs.
Manoj ‘Solder9’ Kumar (3rd for ₹4.60 Lakhs), Shiv ‘cheekychugh’ Chugh (6th for ₹2.24 Lakhs), and PokerGuru Ambassador Vishal ‘CrownUpJr’ Bajaj (8th for ₹1.21 Lakhs) also FT-ed the Sunday Superstack.
The ₹9 Lakhs GTD Money Heist found a winner in Tarush ‘Tarush123’ Gupta, who bested ‘Shinu22’ (2nd for ₹1.24 Lakhs) heads-up to claim the ₹2.01 Lakhs top prize.

Uttam ‘chinunew’ Kumar Sinha (Won Sunday Monster Stack ₹3.25 Lakhs GTD for ₹1.01 Lakhs), Aniket ‘breakingbread93’ Jain (Won Reloaded ₹1.50 Lakhs GTD for ₹38,387), ‘Adwait143’ (Won Epic – Boost ₹60K GTD for ₹16,913), and ‘Aolu’ (Won The Centurion ₹50K GTD for ₹10,306) shipped the other Sunday marquees on Spartan Poker.
PokerBaazi’s ₹20 Lakhs GTD BSS SuperStack registered a 659-entry field on its latest run, collecting a smashing ₹32.95 Lakhs prize pool (almost 65% more than its listed guarantee). The former Destiny winner Mohit ‘bhaiyamohit’ Dhingra came out on top after over eight hours of gameplay to collect his first title of the year and a site-best ₹4.42 Lakhs. He chopped the title four-ways with ‘vishakdelhi’ (2nd for ₹3.73 Lakhs), ‘anand85’ (3rd for ₹3.58 Lakhs), and Harsh ‘harsh1327’ Bubna (4th for ₹3.40 Lakhs).

As always, the Baazi Super Sunday series had two ₹5 Lakhs GTD events on the tap! The first-ever Millionaire Series Main Event winner PokerGuru Ambassador Ashutosh ‘senojwod’ Balodhi championed the event for ₹2.07 Lakhs defeating ‘monkeybiz79’ (2nd for ₹1.45 Lakhs) heads-up.

The sixth and the final day of PokerStars India’s Winter Series had eight events on tap. It all came to a close with the ₹30 Lakhs GTD Winter Series – 40 Main Event that obliterated its advertised guarantee by ₹15.29 Lakhs (an over 50% surplus) after registering a 647-entry field and paid 71 places.
Once the dust had settled, it was Daniel ‘Dan0379’ Rymbei who walked away as the new Winter Series Main Event champion, adding ₹6.88 Lakhs in prize money. PokerGuru Ambassador Ankit ‘b00mtr00p3r’ Wadhawan narrowly missed the title and placed runner-up for ₹4.39 Lakhs.
Mandar ‘MAMA4000’ Madaye (5th for ₹1.47 Lakhs), Rubin ‘kornkid4’ Labroo (6th for ₹1.82 Lakhs), Vineet ‘TheMentalistNo1’ Kumar (7th for ₹84,207), Harsh ‘kakori kabab’ Dembla (8th for ₹63,901), and Arun ‘realruny’ Sriram (9th for ₹1.20 Lakhs) also FT-ed the tourney!
The #4 ranked player of 2021, Wadhawan, happens to be a former Diwali Rush Main Event runner-up finisher. He cashed in three more events yesterday, collectively lapping up over ₹5.16 Lakh.

The ₹25 Lakhs GTD Adda52 Millions made a grand return last night. The ₹11,000 buy-in event drew 373 entries, collecting a ₹33.75 Lakhs prize pool. The top 38 places got paid, and the 8 PM event went on until 6.44 AM. ‘nerfhitler’ proved the last player standing and won the title for ₹9.33 Lakhs. Mohit Kumar ‘Betoo’ Singh placed runner-up for ₹5.65 Lakhs.
It was a busy day at Adda52 with the site`s ₹1 Crore GTD Nano Poker Series (NPS) handing out the last eight titles of the series yesterday! The biggest draw at the series, ₹25 Lakhs GTD Nano Main Event, finally named a champion last night. The ₹1,650 buy-in registered a guarantee-crushing 1,711-player field across seven starting flights, filling in a ₹25.67 Lakhs prize pool. Day 2 began at 10 PM with 209 finalists. Only 103 of them were to get paid, and the race for the title lasted for almost six hours. Amit ‘ragingbull’ Kaushik eventually outlasted them all to win ₹5.67 Lakhs, beating Saturday’s Voyager champion Aayush ‘aayusharya’ Arya (2nd for ₹3.34 Lakhs) heads-up!

The user ‘RootahuaMacchi’ walked away with the title and a ₹2.69 Lakhs payday after striking a three-way deal with Aditya ‘Konstantin’ Singh (2nd for ₹2.61 Lakhs) and Gautam ‘aa_kk’ Sachdeva (3rd for ₹2.48 Lakhs).

Niteen ‘niteenplus’ Raj (678 points) stood #2 for ₹90,000 and Nishant ‘stockfull’ Pandey (578 points) won ₹60,000 in #3 place.

Khelo365 user ‘PeterEngland’ outlasted a 58-player field to win the ₹1 Lakh GTD Big Bang for ₹35,000. ‘Kaushal33’ earned ₹22,000 in second place.
The ₹50K GTD, Dominator was taken down ‘Parlee2001’ for ₹15,500. Site regular ‘Picnic123’ came second for ₹10,000.
