It has been a fantastic month for Team PokerGuru! Starting with PokerGuru Ambassador Ankit Wadhawan finishing runner-up in the Baazi Poker Tour ₹100K High Roller to fellow Ambassador Ashish Munot claiming his first-ever WPT title in the ₹55K Main Event and Madhav Gupta shipping the ₹20K MegaStack the same day – there has been a lot to rejoice for the team. It seems like the good times are going to continue as Munot was back at the grind, only this time it was on the virtual felts.

The Chennai-based pro overcame a field of 393 entries (208 unique and 185 re-entries) in PokerBaazi’s The Endeavour ₹15 Lakhs GTD last night to bank a hefty ₹3.15 Lakhs top prize. However, it wasn’t easy going for the champion as he squared off against fellow Team Ambassador Jayjit Ray for the top honors. It was a hard-fought battle that Munot eventually won. Ray walked away with an equally impressive ₹2.05 Lakhs for his runner-up finish.

Besides Munot and Ray, Arjanveer ‘ballistik310’ Singh Chadha and Devvrat ‘flopCheck’ Arya also picked up runner-up finishes. Chadha finished second in PokerStars India’s Sixth Sense ₹6 Lakhs GTD for ₹89,071 with ‘tks5432’ claiming the title for ₹1.23 Lakhs. Arya lost out to Dhaval ‘dhavhe’ Heda in PokerBaazi’s Tuesday MonsterStack ₹3 Lakhs GTD and pocketed ₹61,702 for his second-place finish, as Heda netted ₹88,039 for his win.

The other high-value event on PokerStars India last night was the Deepstack ₹2 Lakhs GTD which was won by ‘RRK_19’ for ₹29,313, following a three-way deal with Harsh ‘kakori kabab’ Dembla (runner-up for ₹34,368) and ‘timbakt000’ (3rd for ₹34,368).

Over at Spartan Poker, the Spartan Super Series enjoyed a blistering run on Tuesday with all the featured events smashing their advertised guarantee. Headlining the action was the SSS #11 Mega Stack ₹20 Lakhs GTD that accrued a ₹20.34 Lakhs prize pool on the back of 678 entries (292 unique, 131 re-entries, and 255 rebuys). The tournament culminated after crowning a champion in ‘CrownUpJr’ who pocketed ₹3.21 Lakhs for his win.

Meanwhile, Adda52’s tournament turnouts seem to be going from bad to worse as the site yet again registered a shortfall of ₹1.5 Lakhs in the Hitman ₹7.5 Lakhs GTD. Online phenom Sam ‘Lokimon’ Anand, who seems to be in unstoppable mode, added yet another title to his tally after besting a field of 189 entries (118 unique and 71 re-entries) to win ₹2.10 Lakhs in prize money. The site`s other big guarantee event last night, Hexagram ₹2.5 Lakhs GTD, saw ‘jayadeepreddy9’ make good use of the ₹10,000 overlay, as he took down the title for ₹61,717.

PokerDangal’s Event #7 – 150K GTD of the Dangal 100 Max Series was slated to take place at 8 PM on October 22 but was canceled due to technical difficulties. The site is yet to announce when the event will be hosted again; however, they have stated that the players who had registered for the tournament will be given tickets to the rescheduled tournament.
