The 2020 GGPoker World Series of Poker (WSOP) Online Super Circuit awarded its 14th WSOPC ring in Event #14: $210 buy-in Deepstack Bounty $500K GTD on May 26. The tournament was the final bounty event on the series’ schedule and crowned a champion in Mexico’s ‘BaccaratKing.’ The player decimated a field of 3,463 entries to pad his bankroll by $49,598. Adding to the prize money, he also racked up $39,345 in bounties, earning $88,943 for his day’s efforts.

The tournament began at 2 pm EST, and within the first two hours, registrations saw the guarantee being overshot. By the time the gates closed, the prize pool had reached a healthy $692,600.

After that, the action went through the fast lane, and within an hour, the tournament breached the money bubble. The 26 survivors were all assured at least $1,010 each. It took another hour of play for the field to be whittled down to the nine-handed final table.

The final table was a well-rounded mix of players from different nationalities, and Uruguay’s ‘tepuseenFD’ finished runner-up for $34,874.

There were a few Indian players in the mix as well. The most notable finish among them came from ‘rung00se,’ who placed fifth for $12,053, and collected another $4,088 in bounties for total earnings of $16,141. Another Indian player, ‘AntiPoker,’ min-cashed for $1,010 with a 23rd place finish.

Only four more ring events are remaining in the series, all coming up on May 31. The first of these to start will be Event #15: Monster Stack $500K GTD, with Event #16: PLO Main Event $1M GTD scheduled to play out later in the day. The star attraction will undoubtedly be Event #17: Main Event $5M GTD with Event #18: The Closer $500K Gtd [Turbo] wrapping up the schedule.
