Monday proved to be a bustling day for online poker players, with two headline stops captivating players and fans alike. Spartan Poker’s India Online Poker Championship (IOPC) 15.0 and PokerBaazi’s 1000X Series, now in its fourth edition, ran at full throttle, keeping the excitement levels high even as PokerStars India`s Summer Series 3.0 took a day`s break.
Spartan Poker’s IOPC 15.0 crowned seven champions on Monday, and leading the charge was Arnav Vashisth. Known for his previous triumph in Destiny 27.0, Vashisth shipped the day’s biggest guaranteed tournament, IOPC #38 Monday Prime, securing an impressive ₹7.72 Lakhs in prize money and earning the well-deserved title of the day’s top scorer.
Young Gun Aayush Arya was another trailblazer who showcased his exceptional skills by winning the two featured tournaments on PokerBaazi. His biggest paycheque of ₹2.85 Lakhs came from a top finish in 1000X#8 Monday Prime, while Shamin Riza locked in ₹1.73 Lakhs as the runner-up. Just two hours later, Arya conquered The Big Show, netting a top prize of ₹1.96 Lakhs. Manish Lakhotia, last week`s IOPC #6 Thursday High champion, continued his winning streak by becoming the first player to win two IOPC titles in the ongoing series. Lakhotia emerged victorious in Spartan Poker’s IOPC #37 (Mid), claiming the top prize of ₹2.17 Lakhs.
