Wednesday was replete with high-octane action as Spartan Poker’s Legend Poker Series, and PokerStars India’s Bounty Builder Series kept the MTT grinders busy. The week ahead promises more fireworks, with PokerBaazi’s The MoneyMaker making its monthly run tonight and Pocket 52’s Pocket Friendly Series commencing today.

If that was not enough, the fifth edition of PokerBaazi`s APT Online India Series gets underway on Friday, December 2.

Speaking of the Wednesday chartbusters, WSOP bracelet winner Abhinav Iyer fired up top finishes in both the LPS headliners for a hefty 9.21 Lakhs overall, hitting 7 Crores in tracked online winnings. He took down Spartan Poker’s LEGEND #40 Wednesday Showdown (1st for 5.85 Lakhs) and FT-ed LEGEND #42 Wednesday Magnate (4th for 3.36 Lakhs).

Vaibhav Arora finished runner-up in the Wednesday Showdown for 3.71 Lakhs (won 3.78 lakhs overall).

The #2 ranked player of the year, Ashish Ahuja, reeled in almost 7.20 Lakhs from three deep runs and a bounty. He took down Spartan Poker’s LEGEND #42 Wednesday Magnate (1st for 5.34 Lakhs) and almost championed PokerBaazi’s The Pride (2nd for 1.72 Lakhs).

Ahuja chopped the Wednesday Magnate title four-way with the #3 ranked player in the POY race, Arjanveer Singh Chadha (2nd for 4.21 Lakhs), stablemate Laksh Pal Singh (3rd for 4.21 Lakhs), and last night’s LEGEND #40 Wednesday Showdown champion Abhinav Iyer (4th for 3.36 Lakhs).

The former The Millionaire champion Abhinay Devarakonda (Won LEGEND #38 for ₹1.49 Lakhs), Anita Das (Won LEGEND #41 PLO4 Bounty for 1.41 Lakhs), Monday’s LEGENDS #31 champion Mandar Madaye (Won LEGEND #43 for 1.26 Lakhs), and Pranav Somani (Won LEGEND #39 Thunder for 76,821) won the other LEGEND Poker Series titles on Wednesday.

Praveen KR hit the mid-week jackpot, netting a career-best 3.57+ Lakhs across seven deep runs. He most prominently shipped Adda52’s Maverick for 2.76 Lakhs, striking a three-way deal with top regs Vishal Ojha (2nd for 2.50 Lakhs) and Deepankur Gupta (3rd for 2.39 Lakhs).
