With a massive Sunday grind awaiting poker players, Thursday gave out a taste of things to come as Spartan Poker’s Final Table Series and PokerBaazi’s 1000X Series kept the online action in top gear. The low to mid-stakes weren’t left out of the party as they had a bunch of great value tournaments to choose from in PokerStars India’s Micro Millions. More is coming as the IndiaPlays Micro Poker League debuts today.

After a full day of electrifying action, WSOP bracelet winner Abhinav Iyer was the player standing tall on the Thursday charts. Days after his scintillating third-place finish in FTS #19 Sunday Grande, the poker pro shipped Spartan Poker’s FTS #40 Thursday Grande (6-Max) for a site-best ₹22 Lakhs, winning his first FTS gold medallion and a seat on The Master Table. Iyer also cashed FTS #39 Thursday Titan, raking in a jaw-dropping ₹22.43 Lakhs, crossing ₹1 Crore in both annual winning and net profits. He also boosted his POY standings significantly, climbing to #6 in the annual standings and storming to the #1 position in yearly profits.

The IOPC 11.0 The Crown champion Vaibhav Temani (2nd for ₹15.64 Lakhs) (won ₹15.75 Lakhs overall) and the 2022 POY, Young Gun Anuj Yadav (3rd for ₹10.24 Lakhs) (won ₹10.47 Lakhs overall) added seven-figure scores on the FTS #40 Thursday Grande podium.

Last week’s top online scorer, Laksh Pal Singh, crossed the money line in six marquee tournaments yesterday (including two FT scores) for a total take-home worth ₹10.13 Lakhs, advancing to the elite ₹13 Crore Club.’ His best finishes came in Spartan Poker’s FTS #40 Thursday Grande (4th for ₹7.88 Lakhs) and PokerBaazi’s The Summit (4th for ₹1.96 Lakhs).

Areyann Gurbaxani made a career breakthrough by taking down Spartan Poker’s FTS #39 Thursday Titan for a career-best ₹10.15 Lakhs (won ₹10.24 Lakhs overall), winning his maiden FTS gold medallion and a seat on The Master Table. Myron Pereira collected ₹6.45 Lakhs in second place (won ₹7.57 Lakhs overall).

Neeraj Sattawat (Won FTS #41 Turbo PKO for ₹2.99 Lakhs), Raghav Ananth (Won FTS #38 Triple Chance for ₹1.56 Lakhs), and Deepesh Jain (Won FTS #37 for ₹1.59 Lakhs) won the FTS silver medallions on Thursday.

Tanmay Benara pulled out a blinder of a run. He won both the Adda52 flagships, Godfather (₹4.98 Lakhs) and Monster Turbo. (₹1.18 Lakhs), rounding up an impressive ₹6.85 Lakhs in total winnings – his best single-day winnings this year. Benara struck a heads-up deal with Advait Rajguru (2nd for ₹4.77 Lakhs) (won at least ₹5.27 Lakhs overall) in Godfather and did the same with Sahil Nair (2nd for ₹1.05 Lakhs) (won ₹1.69 Lakhs overall) in Monster Turbo.

Last week’s FTS #4 Thursday Grande champion, Vinayak Bajaj, won the 1000X headliner, PokerBaazi’s 1000X#28 Thursday Prime, for ₹3.86 Lakhs (won ₹5.23 Lakhs overall). Gadadhar Behera came second for ₹2.35 Lakhs.

Tuesday’s 1000X#18 champion Amod Kelkar (Won 1000X#29 for ₹1.18 Lakhs), ‘AkulG’ (Won 1000X#27 6-Max for ₹85,962), and ‘robin93’ (Won 1000X#26 for ₹75,788) won the other 1000X Thursday marquees.

Spartan Poker’s FTS #35 Wednesday Grande winner Srihari Bang kept his insanely hot run going by taking down PokerBaazi’s The Summit for ₹4.80 Lakhs, storming into the top ten in annual profits. Nikhil Agarwal scored a runner-up payday of ₹3.19 Lakhs.

Benara’s biggest score came from his victory march in Adda52’s Godfather (₹4.98 Lakhs), but he also shipped the ₹5 Lakhs GTD Monster Turbo. Benara took down a 193-strong entry field (118 unique) in the 9:30 PM tournament to collect a winner’s paycheque of ₹1.18 Lakhs – his second time winning the tournament. The FTS #20 Marathon champion from Sunday, Sahil ‘you3bi4b’ Nair, collected ₹1.05 Lakhs for his runner-up via the deal.
