With the weekend approaching, the MTT turnouts were encouraging across sites. Poker Bootcamp India co-founder Abhishek Goindi emerged as Thursday`s biggest winner. The poker coach took down Adda52s Godfather for ₹6.20 Lakhs, while Aniket Waghmare placed runner-up for ₹3.75 Lakhs.

Another Bootcamp India coach, Young Gun Shardul Parthasarathi, shipped Spartan Poker’s Trending Thursday for the second time yesterday for ₹4.33 Lakhs. Fellow boot camper Ashumi Parekh came second for ₹2.88 Lakhs.

The #3 ranked player of the year, Young Gun Anuj Yadav, topped PokerBaazi’s The Summit to collect ₹4.41 Lakhs.

One of the January leaderboard toppers, Amit Kaushik went on a tear last night. The online reg won two titles and ₹2.99 Lakhs cumulatively, most prominently championing Spartan Poker’s Deepstack (₹1.01 Lakhs) and PokerBaazi’s Daily Night SPRINT (₹52,839).

Young Gun Sanat Mehrotra took down PokerStars Indias Highroller for 2.30 Lakhs. The winningest player on our tracked database, Young Gun Gaurav Sood, stood second for 1.77 Lakhs – collectively adding 3.90 Lakhs to his Thursday tally.

Siddharth Gangwar, Shashank Mehrotra, Clinton Tavares, Young Gun Siddharth Karia, Kripansh Khosla, Akansha Malhotra, Rajneesh Thakur, Harsimar Singh, Karan Malhotra, Rahul Thakur, Neeraj Kumar, Shrvan Amlekar, Aryaman Arora, and Kuldeep Jorwal won the other marquee.

Spartan Poker`s Trending Thursday made another smashing run last night. The ₹5,500 buy-in and ₹20 Lakhs guaranteed event logged in a guarantee-crushing 432-entry field, and the top 39 places got a share from the ₹21.60 Lakhs prize pool. Poker Bootcamp India coach Young Gun Shardul ‘Caribbean Flex’ Parthasarathi shipped the Thursday flagship for the second time yesterday for ₹4.33 Lakhs. Fellow boot camper Ashumi ‘ThePhoenix’ Parekh settled for a runner-up payout worth ₹2.88 Lakhs.

The top 43 players earned a share of the spoils, with the Poker Bootcamp India co-founder and coach Abhishek ‘pomfret1989’ Goindi walking away as the champion and ₹6.20 Lakhs in prize money. The first-ever IOPC MASTERMIND, Aniket ‘anteman’ Waghmare, came second for ₹3.75 Lakhs.

The ₹25 Lakhs GTD Nano Main Event continues to fill in entries in the run-up to Day 2 scheduled for February 13 (10 PM). Day 1B of the NPS Main Event ran from 8 PM to 11.20 PM yesterday and had 163 players in contention. Only 23 of them qualified for Day 2, with ‘PhoenixEye’ (210,231), ‘peaceyo’ (207,247), and ‘vivek1219’ (165,559) topping the day-end chip counts.

Counting the 211 entries on Day 1A, the Main Event had filled in a 374-player field with another five starting flights left to run.
