The Summit ₹15 Lakhs GTD was the main attraction at PokerBaazi last night. The tourney accumulated a colossal prize pool kitty worth ₹28.35 Lakhs through 378 entrants (186 unique and 192 re-entries). One of the most congenial personalities of the circuit, Anant ‘Pro_Pro’ Purohit continuing his trailblazing form outlasted Aditya ‘adit11’ Kulkarni (runner-up for ₹4.16 Lakhs) heads-up to claim the title and top prize of ₹5.95 Lakhs.

Meanwhile, the PokerBaazi Bankroll Builder Series (PBBS) saw the fourth flight of the PBBS#19 Main Event ₹2 Lakhs GTD play out yesterday. A total of 174 entries (92 unique and 82 re-entries) were logged in, and only 16 runners advanced to Day 2. Prashant ‘pokerpoke388’ Chhabra bagged the most massive stack of 556,995, followed by ‘Aaleo4e’ (316,878) and Harsh ‘shiv22’ Goswami (297,486), who rounded out the top three stacks at the end of the play.

Adda52’s Godfather ₹25 Lakhs GTD had a fantastic outing as well, registering 757 entries (387 unique and 370 re-entries), resulting in a massive prize pool collection of ₹37.85 Lakhs. Abhishek ‘messi010010’ Gubba ran past the field and met PokerGuru Ambassador Ashish ‘ragspoker’ Munot in the heads-up finale. In the end, Gubba took home the top honors, including a ₹8.70 Lakhs payday, while Munot had to settle for a second-place payout worth ₹4.99 Lakhs in prize money. PokerStars India’s Thursday extravaganza, Highroller ₹15 Lakhs GTD, attracted 270 participants (149 unique and 121 re-entries), generating₹18.90 Lakhs in the prize pool. Seasoned pro Kunal ‘iAlwaysHaveit’ Patni topped the field and walked away with a winner’s paycheque of ₹3.59 Lakhs, while Goonjan ‘gmtesting.ind’ Mall finished runner-up for ₹2.64 Lakhs.

Capitalizing on the 21-day nationwide lockdown, PokerStars India introduced a new tourney yesterday – Thursday Thrill ₹5 Lakhs GTD. The inaugural run saw 234 entrants (137 unique and 97 re-entries) pony-up the ₹2,750 buy-in, resulting in a ₹5.85 Lakhs prize pool. Anant Purohit, playing under themoniker ‘Dr4gonW4rrior’, clinched his second title of the night and added ₹95,918 to his bankroll, following a heads-up deal with ‘himkat@stars’ (runner-up for ₹90,130).
