The Spartan Poker-hosted India Turbo Masters and PokerBaazi’s biggest-ever National Poker Series India 2023 broke the Monday dullness. In a day ridden with overlays, the NPS tournaments led the charge, registering guarantee-crushing turnouts for the sixth day straight.
Online crusher Advait Rajguru made the most of the prizes on offer, topping the day’s scorecard by reeling in at least ₹5.39 Lakhs. Rajguru won his career-first NPS gold medal in PokerBaazi`s NPS#32 Monday Medley, collecting the top prize of ₹5.26 Lakhs. ‘Heisenbergj’ finished runner-up to collect the silver medal and ₹3.20 Lakhs, with Adithya NG taking home the bronze medal and ₹2.56 Lakhs in third place.
Sunday’s ITM #57 Deepstack Turbo champion, Anand Babu Pallikona, continued his scintillating performance at the India Turbo Masters, taking down Spartan Poker`s ITM #63 Monday Supersonic – 6 Max for ₹3.05 Lakhs (won ₹3.14 Lakhs overall).
Sarthak Singhal added an NPS gold medal and a site-best ₹2.73 Lakhs to his name by shipping PokerBaazi’s NPS#34 Slamdunk (won ₹3.21 Lakhs overall). The NPS #17 Deepdive winner Karan Sitlani bagged ₹1.67 Lakhs and his first silver medal as the runner-up.
Neeraj Sattawat busted an over three-week-long dry spell with a top finish in Adda52’s Iron Man for ₹2.34 Lakhs (won ₹2.84 Lakhs overall), defeating the ITM #56 Sunday Supersonic champion Deepankur Gupta (2nd for ₹1.42 Lakhs) heads-up, the latter adding at least ₹1.58 Lakhs from two deep runs.
Satyapal a.k.a ‘burgersingh’ (Won ITM #65 Hyper for ₹1.12 Lakhs), ‘prometheus1224’ (Won ITM #64 Turbo for ₹84,600), Prince Kumar (Won ITM #61 (6-Max) Turbo for ₹84,600), and ‘trailblazer97’ (Won ITM #66 Turbo for ₹81,852) won the other India Turbo Masters Monday tournament.
The Sunday Special champion Shubham Agarwal pulled a two-in-two on
Monday, shipping PokerBaazi’s NPS#30 (4-Max) Hyper SPRINT for ₹2.12 Lakhs, and his second NPS gold medal, following a heads-up deal with ‘barbaric’ (2nd for ₹1.92 Lakhs). Agarwal cashed four other NPS tournaments yesterday, adding ₹2.51 Lakhs and storming to #3 on the NPS Series and Podium leaderboards.
The newly-minted Players Pot Ambassador Anant Purohit added a fourth NPS gold medal to his name, winning PokerBaazi’s NPS#31 SPRINT for ₹2.36 Lakhs. Manipur-based poker streamer Dannish Thiyam almost grabbed a second gold medal on stream but had to settle for the silver medal and ₹1.44 Lakhs (won ₹1.48 Lakhs overall).
Rajneesh Thakur (Won NPS#33 (5-Max) Hyper SPRINT for ₹1.24 Lakhs) was the fifth NPS gold medal winner on Monday.
