Wednesday was a day of poker fireworks, both online and in the live arena! Team India tripled its title count at the ongoing WPT Championship Cambodia 2025 with Nikesh Chawla (Event #43: $2,000 Turbo High Roller for ₹50.33 Lakhs) and Somashekar Kurkhepally (Event # 42: $600 Megastack for ₹25.98 Lakhs) adding to the country`s growing success on the Asian circuit by picking up WPT trophies. Meanwhile, the online action was just as hot, with PokerBaazi at the epicentre. The anticipation for the ₹100 Crores GTD National Poker Series India 2025, starting this Sunday, is electric. The “Road to NPS“ satellites are turning dreams into reality, creating a frenzy and impacting other platforms as players vie for a seat at what promises to be India’s biggest poker party.
Amidst this excitement, Advait Rajguru blazed a trail. After a #5 finish in the 2024 POY race, the PokerGuru Staking coach is aiming higher. He went on a mid-week tear on PokerBaazi, netting ₹4.77 Lakhs from three final table finishes. He won his fifth major title this year, taking down the Daily Last Chance for ₹1.60 Lakhs after a heads-up deal. A podium finish in the Big PLO-5 (an event he won two weeks ago) added ₹1.26 Lakhs, and a fourth-place finish in The Pride brought in another ₹1.92 Lakhs, making him Wednesday’s top earner.
‘Yasir1986,’ a sporadic MTT grinder on PokerBaazi since 2016, wasn’t far behind. He conquered The Pride for a platform-best ₹4.37 Lakhs after a three-way deal—his second flagship title this year. Three-time The Millionaire champion Rishab Malik finished second, taking home ₹2.97 Lakhs from the same deal. An additional small score brought his Wednesday total to ₹3.04 Lakhs, pushing his tracked online profits past ₹3 Crores. Young Gun Arsh Grover, who already has a hattrick of wins on Pocket52 this year, finished third in The Pride, collecting ₹3.49 Lakhs from the deal. Another deep run brought his nightly total to over ₹3.55 Lakhs.
Ankit Agarwal staged an epic comeback on PokerBaazi. Riding the momentum of a final table finish in The Endeavour the previous night, he ended a long year-and-a-half title drought in style, taking down WTF for ₹3.04 Lakhs. Cashes in two other PokerBaazi marquees brought his total to nearly ₹3.17 Lakhs. ‘somya2727,’ back on PokerBaazi after a lengthy three-and-a-half-year break, showed no signs of rust, finishing as the WTF runner-up for a site-best ₹2 Lakhs, returning to profitability on the platform.
Adda52 also witnessed a resurgence as Habil Jiruwala returned to the winner’s circle after a four-month absence, taking down the Maverick title for ₹2.32 Lakhs—his third-biggest career score. Deepak Singh, the NPS India 2024 Podium Leaderboard champion, finished a close second for ₹1.70 Lakhs—his second-best score of the year. Singh’s momentum continued with deep runs in three other MMA events, including a top finish in the MMA PKO (₹25,004), pushing his Wednesday earnings past ₹2.02 Lakhs.
Other PokerBaazi flagship winners included ‘angel89‘ (Won Big PLO-5 for ₹2.01 Lakhs) and Tejas Anantha (Won The Pride Lite for ₹1.57 Lakhs).
Tanay Kauntia, the top individual scorer of the Pocket52 PSL Season 6 from the Bengaluru Allstars, kept his winning streak alive. After a string of mid-stakes wins, he conquered Junglee Poker’s Lakhpati Legends Main Event this past Sunday. He kept the momentum going, taking down Pocket52’s Pocket Bullets for ₹1.77 Lakhs. Three-time POY and poker legend Young Gun Gaurav Sood finished second in Pocket Bullets for ₹1.24 Lakhs. Sood’s busy session earned him ₹2.29 Lakhs from four additional cashes, including a podium finish in The Pride Lite.
On Junglee Poker, Chennai’s poker powerhouse Sashank Chakravarthy shipped the Wednesday Superstack for ₹1.51 Lakhs—his third title of 2025. Long-time regular ‘GudThimma‘ finished second for ₹89,032.
Over on Natural8 India, Siddharth Jolly returned from a two-week break with a bang. The Poker Dream 15 Malaysia MYR 800 NLH – Turbo champion finished runner-up in the Daily Hyper 50 for ₹1.25 Lakhs, bringing his platform earnings past ₹21 Lakhs.
Wednesday also saw victories from Md Nazim, Kiran Mondal, Deepak Singh, Akho John Richa, and Dhaval Heda in the other marquee events.

PokerBaazi is seriously cranking up the heat. The competition is reaching a fever pitch as the mammoth ₹100 Crores GTD National Poker Series India 2025 approaches, and the “Road to NPS” satellites have ignited a frenzy. Everyone’s scrambling for a seat at what promises to be the biggest poker party in Indian history.
And as always, PokerBaazi delivered a mid-week haymaker, and a relatively unknown player, ‘Yasir1986’ (opted out of our tracking), came out of nowhere to conquer the ₹30 Lakhs GTD The Pride. A sporadic MTT grinder on the platform since October 2016, ‘Yasir1986’ had already hinted at their potential by winning the Daily Last Chance on the first Saturday of the year. They’d been knocking on the door a few times since, but last night, they kicked it down, and they did it in the biggest event of the day on PokerBaazi, no less.
The Pride, PokerBaazi’s 8 PM Wednesday headliner, always attracts a swarm of hungry players, and last night saw the same. A stacked field of 639 entries (347 unique) created a poker maelstrom that raged for seven hours and 54 minutes.
‘Yasir1986’ weathered the storm like a seasoned pro, staying focused amidst the chaos. They quietly climbed the ranks with patience and precision, outlasting some of the best in the game, ultimately bagging their first-ever The Pride title and their second win of 2025. This breakthrough performance earned them a platform-best ₹4.37 Lakhs following a three-way deal. The win also made them the second-biggest winner of the day, trailing only Advait Rajguru, who went on a triple final table rampage on PokerBaazi last night.
Rishab ‘ryuk’ Malik, the three-time The Millionaire champion from New Delhi, who’s been on a tear this year with wins in Junglee Poker’s Countdown Knockout and Adda52’s The Ballers and a solid fourth-place finish in The Endeavour just the night before, was looking for his third major title of the year in The Pride.
This poker star fired two bullets in The Pride and came within striking distance of victory. But they had to settle for second place, taking home ₹2.97 Lakhs from the same deal. Another score in The Pride Lite boosted his Wednesday winnings to ₹3.04 Lakhs and pushed him past the ₹3 Crores mark in tracked online profits.
> 2nd in PokerBaazi’s The Pride for ₹2,96,548* (three-way deal)
> 26th in PokerBaazi’s The Pride Lite for ₹7,000

Young Gun Arsh ‘Button_Hai_Bro’ Grover, who already has a hattrick of wins on Pocket52 this year, finished third in last night’s The Pride, collecting ₹3.49 Lakhs from the three-way deal. Another score in Pocket52’s Pocket Rocket brought his nightly total to over ₹3.55 Lakhs.
> 3rd in PokerBaazi’s The Pride for ₹3,48,919* (three-way deal)
> 27th in Pocket52’s Pocket Rockets for ₹6,240
Arsh Grover’s online stats (excluding Pocket52, Natural8 India and Junglee Poker): Lifetime Winnings: ₹18.93 Crores | Lifetime Profits: ₹7.56 Crores | Titles Won in 2025: #3 (across all platforms)
The Pride final table was brimming with some familiar names and a fresh wave of rising contenders like last night’s biggest winner and Daily Last Chance champion Advait ‘ExploitativeGTO’ Rajguru (4th for ₹1.92 Lakhs), Siddhant ‘ALLinBoy’ Gaurav (5th for ₹1.41 Lakhs), Zeshan ‘Deez49’ Hamza (6th for ₹1.15 Lakhs), ‘seargentmiller’ (7th for ₹93,294), and ‘ALXBRACHEN10’ (8th for ₹71,888).
As has become the norm for PokerBaazi’s flagships, the ₹5,750 buy-in The Pride easily surpassed its ₹30 Lakhs guarantee, generating a scorching ₹31.95 Lakhs prize pool. The top 101 finishers earned a payout with a minimum of ₹10,224. It was a mid-week poker explosion on India’s hottest online poker platform, delivering the thrilling action and big rewards the poker community has come to expect from PokerBaazi.

The “Road to NPS” satellites are blazing a trail on PokerBaazi, drawing hopefuls by the droves for a shot at the behemoth ₹100 Crores GTD NPS India 2025. But even with that colossal series looming, the mid-week action on PokerBaazi was a spectacle in itself. The Pride was a magnet, yes, but the ₹20 Lakhs GTD WTF spun a yarn all its own. Among the sea of faces, one player, Ankit ‘gabru1410’ Agarwal, emerged from the depths.
Agarwal, a player known for his on-and-off stints at the tables, had been on a bit of a plateau for over a year. But he was biding his time, waiting for the perfect hand, and the WTF dealt him a royal flush. Hot off a final table finish in The Endeavour the night before, he rode that wave of good fortune and broke a year-and-a-half-long title drought in seriously impressive fashion. When the chips were down, Agarwal emerged with ₹3.04 Lakhs, his seventh-best score ever on the platform.
With 799 entries (435 unique) throwing their hats into the ring in the 7:30 PM flagship, the competition was a gauntlet. But Agarwal, whose top three all-time scores are all runner-up finishes, wasn’t settling for second best. Redemption was on his mind, and he wasn’t letting it slip through his fingers. After a seven-hour-plus grind, he carved his way to the top and claimed his first-ever WTF title like a true champion.
But that wasn’t the end of Agarwal’s story. He had already cashed in two other PokerBaazi marquees, bringing his total Wednesday winnings close to ₹3.17 Lakhs.
> 1st in PokerBaazi’s WTF for ₹3,04,000
> 13th in PokerBaazi’s (7-Max) Afternoon Boost for ₹7,847
> 65th in PokerBaazi’s The Pride Lite for ₹4,800
Ankit Agarwal’s online stats (PokerBaazi and Adda52): Lifetime Winnings: ₹1.62 Crores | Lifetime Profits: ₹2.91 Lakhs | Titles Won in 2025: #1
While Agarwal was busy rewriting his poker narrative, another player was scripting their own dramatic return in the WTF. ‘somya2727,’ who just resurfaced on PokerBaazi that Sunday after a whopping three-and-a-half-year hiatus, wasted no time shaking off the rust.
In a thrilling heads-up battle, ‘somya2727’ went head-to-head with Agarwal, pushing hard for that elusive breakthrough. With a site-best ₹2 Lakhs payday, ‘somya2727’ snagged a fantastic runner-up finish and climbed back into the black on the platform.
somya2727’s PokerBaazi stats: Site Winnings: ₹2.34 Lakhs | Site Profits: ₹1.27 Lakhs
The WTF final table was stacked with familiar faces, like Kovid ‘fzzzyyy’ Saraswat (3rd for ₹1.48 Lakhs), Chethan ‘FoldMasterCK’ C K (4th for ₹1.14 Lakhs), the ever-present Jatin ‘patience124’ Sablani (5th for ₹93,800), and Arya ‘Merlion’ Dutta (8th for ₹43,800).
The WTF was one of the rare PokerBaazi flagships that had an overlay last night, falling ₹88,000 short of its ₹20 Lakhs guarantee. But it still delivered an electrifying showdown, proving why it’s a must-play mid-week event. With a buy-in of ₹2,750, it gave players of all levels a shot at poker glory. The top 118 players cashed, with even the min-cashers taking home ₹6,000, adding fuel to the mid-week fire on PokerBaazi.

PokerBaazi just threw down another mid-week gauntlet, and a poker veteran roared back to reclaim their throne. ‘angel89‘ absolutely decimated the ₹10 Lakhs GTD Big PLO-5, a comeback story over seven years in the making. After grinding on the platform for what seems like an eternity, ‘angel89,’ who conquered The Endeavour back in 2017 and nearly tasted victory in the 2020 PPL#59 BSS Superstack (finishing third), had been hungry for a win for over seven years. And last night, they finally feasted.
The 9 PM PLO flagship was a magnet for 114 PLO warriors (231 total entries), each hungry for the crown. But ‘angel89’, who recently made a deep run in the massive G.O.A.T. 2024, rose above the rest, blazing through the competition with two well-placed bullets. After a six-hour and 16-minute slugfest, ‘angel89’ captured their second-ever PokerBaazi title. The win delivered a hefty ₹2.01 Lakhs payday – their third-best score on the platform and a much-needed boost after a long and tough downswing.
angel89’s PokerBaazi stats: Site Winnings: ₹32.60 Lakhs | Titles Won in 2025: #1
Paras ‘CapturingHands’ Jain, a well-known face at the NLHE and PLO MTT tables and The Endeavour champion from October 14, almost grabbed his first win of the year. After a week of no results (his last score was in last week’s The Endeavour), Paras nearly conquered the Big PLO-5, finishing runner-up for a sweet ₹1,65,725 – his best score this year.
Bengaluru’s online poker phenom, Advait ‘ExploitativeGTO’ Rajguru, didn`t just attend the party; he owned it, racking up nearly ₹4.77 Lakhs from a win and two other final-table finishes on PokerBaazi. The PokerGuru Staking coach, who won the Big PLO-5 just two weeks ago, almost pulled off a repeat. Firing four bullets to navigate the wild PLO swings, he finished third for ₹1.26 Lakhs. He was also tearing it up in The Pride, where he took fourth for ₹1.92 Lakhs. He even crushed the late-night flagship, the Daily Last Chance, for ₹1.60 lakhs – his fifth major title this year, emerging as the day`s top scorer.
This mid-week rampage has pushed Rajguru`s annual earnings past ₹53 Lakhs, cementing his status as a serious Player of the Year contender. He is already looking in good shape to improve on his #5 finish in last year`s cutthroat race.
> 4th in PokerBaazi’s The Pride for ₹1,91,700
> 1st in PokerBaazi’s Daily Last Chance for ₹1,59,570
> 3rd in PokerBaazi’s Big PLO-5 for ₹1,25,549
Advait Rajguru’s online stats (excluding Natural8 India, Junglee Poker and Pocket52): Lifetime Winnings: ₹12.78 Crores | Lifetime Profits: ₹4.18 Crores | Titles Won in 2025: #5 | Annual Winnings: ₹53.08 Lakhs | Annual Profits: ₹38.58 Lakhs | Moves to #81 on #PokerBaazi’s 2025 POY Leaderboard
The Big PLO-5 final table also featured some other regs. December’s WPT#47 Bounty champion, Saurabh ‘Faiyaaz_Takkar’ Ramola, finished fourth for ₹83,364. ‘ayemi1122’, last Sunday’s BSS SuperStack winner and third-place finisher in this PLO flagship from the night before, took fifth place for ₹50,219.
Unlike Tuesday’s quieter affair, the ₹5,000 buy-in Big PLO-5 drew a crowd last night, creating a juicy ₹10.04 Lakhs prize pool. The top 33 finishers who made it into the money earned at least ₹9,040 – a nice bankroll injection for PLO fans eyeing the stacked NPS India 2025 schedule starting this Sunday.

Advait ‘ExploitativeGTO’ Rajguru is an absolute beast on the felt. If his #5 finish in the 2024 POY race with a mind-blowing ₹4.42 Crores in winnings (₹2.12 Crores in profits) was any indication, this poker phenom from Bengaluru has set his sights even higher for 2025.
The PokerGuru Staking coach (who also made a stunning debut at the Pocket52 PSL Season 6 last year) has been on a red-hot heater this month, already racking up three major titles in Adda52’s Big Whale and PokerBaazi’s WTF and Big PLO-5. And last night, he brought the thunder to PokerBaazi, shredding the virtual felts by racking up a massive ₹4.77 Lakhs across three final tables.
This poker prodigy didn’t just make deep runs—he conquered PokerBaazi’s ₹10 Lakhs GTD Daily Last Chance and even snagged a podium finish in the ₹10 Lakhs GTD Big PLO-5 – the same event he conquered just two weeks ago, making him Wednesday’s top dog!
Rajguru capped off his session by dominating the Daily Last Chance, where he fired four bullets in the 10:30 PM flagship. After nearly six hours of intense play, Rajguru toppled the 510-entry field (290 unique) to grab his first-ever Daily Last Chance title, pocketing a cool ₹1.60 Lakhs after a heads-up deal.
But that wasn’t his only close call of the night! Earlier, in the 8 PM Wednesday headliner, The Pride, the Bengaluru pro made a deep run, narrowly missing the podium with a fourth-place finish for ₹1.92 Lakhs after two entries. And before that, he was back in action in the 9 PM Big PLO-5, where he locked up another podium finish, adding ₹1.26 Lakhs to his haul after firing four bullets. With his annual winnings now exceeding ₹53 Lakhs, Rajguru looks like a force of nature heading into the upcoming NPS India 2025!
Advait Rajguru’s online stats (excluding Natural8 India, Junglee Poker and Pocket52): Lifetime Winnings: ₹12.78 Crores | Lifetime Profits: ₹4.18 Crores | Titles Won in 2025: #5 | Annual Winnings: ₹53.08 Lakhs | Moves to #81 on PokerBaazi’s 2025 POY Leaderboard
Rajguru’s final showdown in the Daily Last Chance was against fellow Karnataka grinder ‘kakhcbkncn,‘ a mystery player who has been chasing that elusive win since they first played an MTT on the platform in June 2021. They gave it all, firing two bullets before settling for a runner-up finish worth ₹1.29 Lakhs from the deal – their biggest score by a long shot. This score was 3.6 times their previous best and single-handedly erased two-thirds of their prior losses!
The Daily Last Chance final table had two other familiar Baazigars in the mix: Vishal ‘Mrvkey’ Kadyan (5th for ₹53,885) and Tuesday’s (7-Max) SPRINT finalist Sehej ‘UdixiAgain’ Singh (8th for ₹26,055).
And just like the other PokerBaazi flagships (with the exception of the WTF and The Pride Lite), the Daily Last Chance crushed its guarantee, generating a ₹11.09 Lakhs prize pool that was distributed among the top 82 finishers, each earning at least ₹5,322, more than double the initial ₹2,500 buy-in. The mid-week grind on PokerBaazi was another blast, and the Daily Last Chance ensured the action raged well into Thursday morning!

PokerBaazi’s mid-week throwdown, the ₹10 Lakhs GTD The Pride Lite, was a spectacle, complete with an epic comeback story.
This prime-time event drew a full house of poker warriors, both seasoned pros and aspiring grinders. Among them was Tejas ‘sajet69’ Anantha, an NPS India 2024 gold medalist. Undeterred by an early exit, Anantha re-entered the 7:30 PM showdown and charged through a field of 308 other players (542 total entries) in a six-and-a-half-hour battle royale. When the digital dust settled, Anantha stood tall, claiming his first-ever The Pride Lite title and a sweet ₹1.57 Lakhs prize. This win not only snapped a three-month title drought but also landed him his third-biggest score ever.
Tejas Anantha’s online stats (PokerBaazi, Adda52 and Spartan Poker): Lifetime Winnings: ₹62.43 Lakhs | Lifetime Profits: ₹14.34 Lakhs | Titles Won in 2025: #1
But this victory didn’t come easy. Standing in Anantha’s way was Bhanu Prakash KC (who has opted out of our tracking), the leaderboard titan eyeing the PokerBaazi 2025 POY title. With 20 PokerBaazi titles already under his belt this year, this relentless grinder was this close to adding The Pride Lite to his stacked collection. The heads-up battle between these two was a classic, but in the end, Anantha seized the crown. Bhanu Prakash KC still walked away with a respectable ₹1.04 Lakhs.
And that’s not all. Deep runs in four other tournaments boosted his Wednesday winnings to over ₹1.38 Lakhs. The PokerBaazi 2025 POY title race is tight, with Bhanu Prakash KC currently at #5, just five points behind the current leader ‘Dhakedboy.‘
> 2nd in PokerBaazi’s The Pride Lite for ₹1,03,500
> 43rd in PokerBaazi’s The Pride for ₹13,419
> 12th in PokerBaazi’s Daily Last Chance for ₹10,533
> 20th in PokerBaazi’s Big PLO-5 for ₹10,043
> 32nd in PokerBaazi’s Daily SPRINT for ₹592
The Pride Lite final table was like a poker family reunion, with familiar faces like the three-time POY and last night’s Pocket Bullets runner-up Young Gun Gaurav ‘gaug17’ Sood (3rd for ₹78,000), last night’s Maverick finalist Inzemaam ‘Shavzz’ Husain (4th for ₹57,300), Sumanth ‘sp175’ Kumar (5th for ₹48,600), Maria ‘TheOutlaw’ Kirloskar (6th for ₹40,000), 2025 POY leaderboard standout ‘borntrouble’ (7th for ₹31,600), and last week’s The Quest Lite runner-up and Monday’s Daily Last Chance podium finisher Vishal ‘karan23’ Kumar (8th for ₹23,500) all in the hunt!
While The Pride easily surpassed its guarantee, its more budget-friendly sibling, the ₹2,000 buy-in The Pride Lite, fell slightly short, missing the mark by ₹56,920. However, this created serious value for the players, with the generous ₹10 Lakhs prize pool distributed among the top 82 finishers. Everyone who cashed earned at least ₹4,800, making it another profitable mid-week grind on India’s leading online poker platform.

Chennai’s poker powerhouse Sashank ‘TheTamizhDurrr’ Chakravarthy set Junglee Poker ablaze on Wednesday night with a performance that can only be described as masterful.
This 2024 POY #15 went on a rampage on the last day of January, conquering Pocket52’s Pocket Highroller and Junglee Poker’s Friday Supernova, plus snagging a runner-up finish in PokerBaazi’s The Quest Lite. Chakravarthy has kept the momentum going in February with second-place finishes in PokerBaazi’s The Big Show Lite and WTF, and then another second place in Pocket52’s Pocket Kings just this past Sunday. The third win of 2025 felt like it was playing hide-and-seek. But last night, the game changed. He conquered Junglee Poker’s ₹7 Lakhs GTD Wednesday Superstack.
Facing a tough field of 219 contenders in the Wednesday Superstack, Chakravarthy battled for nearly eight hours, outlasting every opponent. This wasn’t just any win. It was his second major victory on Junglee Poker this year. And it was extra special because it was Chakravarthy’s first time conquering this 8 PM mid-week marquee. He didn’t just win; he dominated, taking home a juicy ₹1.51 Lakhs, including ₹87,246 in bounties!
Long-time regular ‘GudThimma’ also had a fantastic run in the Wednesday Superstack, finishing second for ₹89,032 (₹25,172 in bounties) in his first major splash on Junglee Poker this year.
The Wednesday Superstack had two other heavy hitters in the mix: the recent The Endeavour third-place finisher on a tear Saransh ‘tatendataibu’ Garg (4th for ₹50,884) (₹19,641 in bounties) and last week’s LL#26 Thursday Highroller champion Vikram ‘GreenSTUFF79’ Mishra (8th for 19,280) (₹5,906 in bounties)!
With a steep ₹43,000 overlay, the ₹3,450 buy-in Wednesday Superstack delivered exceptional value and excitement. The top 23 finishers cashed from the ₹3.72 Lakhs prize pool, and many others padded their bankrolls by racking up bounties from the ₹3.28 Lakhs bounty pool. The action was non-stop from the first hand to the last.
Final Table Results (Including Bounties)
‘mansai_soren’ (Won ₹2 Lakhs GTD Wednesday Mania for ₹52,771), ‘radha5151’ (Won ₹80K GTD Wednesday Sunsetter for ₹22,970), and ‘mrarunachal’ (Won ₹60K GTD Hangover for ₹11,712) won the other Wednesday marquees on Junglee Poker.

Adda52’s ₹12.50 Lakhs GTD Maverick was a rootin’ tootin’ rollercoaster last night! One hundred seventy-four poker warriors (377 total entries) stormed into the 8 PM mid-week flagship, each with dreams of glory and a fistful of cash. The action was intense, with the tournament raging on until the break of dawn.
As the night owls hooted and the first rays of sunlight peeked over the horizon, a familiar name emerged from the poker battlefield: Habil ‘MuckTheSystem’ Jiruwala. Like a gunslinger sauntering back into his favourite saloon after a long journey, Jiruwala was back in the winner’s circle after a four-month break, snapping a long title-less spell since his career-best victory in the Big Whale in October. Jiruwala, whose profit graph has been skyrocketing these last seven months, added another trophy to his case and a hefty ₹2.32 Lakhs to his bankroll – his third-biggest career score and first victory of 2025.
Habil Jiruwala’s online stats (Adda52, PokerBaazi and Spartan Poker): Lifetime Winnings: ₹1.59 Crores | Lifetime Profits: ₹64.68 Lakhs | Titles Won in 2025: #1
Deepak ‘peacelover’ Singh, the NPS India 2024 podium leaderboard crusher, fresh off Adda52’s Afternoon Bounty win and a third-place finish in The Ballers DPT Edition earlier this month, was also gunning for his first flagship win of the year in the Maverick. He came within a whisker of victory, finishing a close second for ₹1.70 Lakhs – his second-best score for the year.
But Singh`s night wasn`t just about the near-miss. He turned his fortunes around by conquering Adda52’s MMA PKO for a sweet ₹11,028 and made deep runs in two other MMA marquees, raking in over ₹2.02 Lakhs for the day.
> 2nd in Adda52’s Maverick for ₹1,70,018
> 1st in Adda52’s MMA PKO for ₹25,004

Then there was Inzemaam ‘shavzz’ Husain, who has already racked up podium finishes in PokerBaazi’s Blockbuster and Adda52’s Sunday Big Slick DPT Edition, along with two other final table appearances in February! He also had a profitable mid-week grind, banking almost ₹1.30 Lakhs from three deep runs, highlighted by a fourth-place finish in PokerBaazi’s The Pride Lite and a fifth-place run in Adda52’s Maverick.

With its ₹3,350 buy-in, the Maverick was a high-octane affair. If there’s one name that’s been lighting up the online poker streets, it’s Tanay ‘rujula15’ Kauntia—and for all the right reasons! This young powerhouse, the top scorer for the Bengaluru Allstars at the Pocket52 PSL Season 6 last year, has been on a blistering heater, stacking up titles like they’re going out of style.
Kauntia didn’t just start the year strong; he practically exploded onto the scene. Back-to-back wins in PokerBaazi’s Daily Boost. Then, boom – victories in the Evening SPRINT and the (6-Max) Hyper, not once, but twice. And this past Sunday, he took things to a whole new level by conquering Junglee Poker’s Lakhpati Legends Main Event, grabbing ₹5.21 Lakhs – his best score this year and just a hair shy of his all-time best.
But Kauntia isn`t done making headlines. Last night, he dove headfirst into Pocket52’s ₹8 Lakhs GTD Pocket Bullets. Three hundred and ninety entries (275 unique) stood in his way. He battled. He weaved. He conquered. ₹1.77 Lakhs landed in his lap. That’s now seven wins this year.
Tanay Kauntia’s online stats (PokerBaazi, Adda52 and Spartan Poker): Lifetime Winnings: ₹1.17 Crores | Lifetime Profits: ₹38.08 Lakhs | Titles Won in 2025: #7 (across all platforms)
While Kauntia was stealing the spotlight in Pocket Bullets, Young Gun Gaurav ‘gaug17’ Sood was reminding everyone why he’s a legend. Three-time Player of the Year. The most decorated player on our tracked database. Need we say more?
Sood has been on a tear this year. Wins in PokerBaazi’s Summit Lite, WTF, and Adda52’s Ferris Wheel & Monster Turbo PKO. Final table appearances galore. He’s living up to the hype.
And last night, he almost pulled off a double, with not one but two titles within reach. He went for the Pocket Bullets crown; his aggression dialled up to eleven. He didn’t quite get there, but ₹1.24 Lakhs isn’t a bad consolation prize.
But as always, Sood doesn’t stop at just one deep run. He fired on all cylinders, playing a full-blown MTT grind and racking up almost ₹2.29 Lakhs in total winnings with four other cashes, including a podium finish in PokerBaazi`s The Pride Lite.
With this momentum, winning a record-extending fourth POY title is very much on the cards, especially with the colossal NPS India 2025 looming. The only thing that might hold him back is his absence from Natural8 India, where those life-changing scores can quickly tip the scales in the POY race.
> 2nd in Pocket52’s Pocket Bullets for ₹1,24,000
> 3rd in PokerBaazi’s The Pride Lite for ₹78,000

> 36th in PokerBaazi’s WTF for ₹9,000
> 45th in Adda52’s Maverick for ₹7,359
Gaurav Sood’s online stats (excluding JungleePoker and Pocket52): Lifetime Winnings: ₹22.93 Crores | Lifetime Profits: ₹11.87 Crores | Titles Won in 2025: #4 | Slips to #88 on PokerBaazi`s 2025 POY Leaderboard
The final table of Pocket Bullets was stacked with regs like last night`s Wednesday Superstack finalist Vikram ‘greenstuff79’ Mishra (4th for ₹59,040), Nimesh ‘zokomo’ Patel (5th for ₹44,320), Tejasvi ‘Heisenberg’ Srivastava (7th for ₹29,440) and circuit veteran Gurpal ‘singhsterrr’ Singh (8th for ₹23,600).
With a star-studded lineup and nonstop action, the ₹3,300 buy-in Pocket Bullets was a runaway success. It crushed its guarantee, generating a lofty ₹11.70 Lakhs prize pool. The top 36 players shared the spoils, with payouts starting at ₹5,440. It`s safe to say that Pocket52 has become a favourite hunting ground for serious tournament grinders!
