It was an eventful Tuesday with the WPT Online India (WPTOI) series spearheading the online MTT action. PokerGuru Ambassadors stole the show yesterday, bagging an incredible four titles between them alongside several other deep runs!

Here is a quick recap of all that transpired yesterday.

Spartan Poker

Setting the virtual felts on fire was the Spartan Poker-hosted ₹18 Lakhs GTD Mega Stack. The ₹3,300 entry buy-in tourney offered the biggest prize pool guarantee of the day. Still, with a turnout of 483 entries, the tourney recorded a landslide ₹3.51 Lakhs overlay deficit. It took a little under seven hours of play for a winner to emerge, with Mohit ‘thejoker’ Mehta walking away with the title and ₹2.30 Lakhs in prize money. Mehta struck a four-way deal with Vidwath ‘[email protected]’ Shetty (runner-up for ₹2.23 Lakhs), ‘BeBoT’ (3rd for ₹2.2 Lakhs), and ‘Daniel Nigerianu’ (4th for ₹2.04 Lakhs) before taking down the title.

The other Tuesday night marquee on Spartan Poker, the ₹7 Lakhs GTD The Race, crushed its advertised guarantee as 469 runners helped collect ₹7.04 Lakhs in prize money. Starting out at 9.30 PM, the tourney came to a close at 4.49 AM on Wednesday after PokerGuru Ambassador Naresh ‘FreeFlow’ Veeravalli eliminated the formidable Sumit ‘Sands Myth’ Sapra (runner-up for ₹93,777) in second-place to win ₹1.41 Lakhs.

This was one of two tourneys Veeravalli championed last night. He also won the WPT Mini on Adda52 for ₹1.89 Lakhs, banking ₹3.30 Lakhs for the day. The Tuesday night double has brought the cash game reg just ₹8 Lakhs shy of touching the ₹2 Crore-mark in winnings for the year. Even his lifetime scorecard has crossed ₹2.57 Crores.

The runner-up, Sapra, also placed 6th in Adda52’s WPT Mini for ₹29,960, his second FT finish on Tuesday.

PokerStars India

PokerStars India had two ₹5 Lakhs GTD tourneys on its Tuesday schedule.
