We are now on the last day of 2021, and as we look back on Thursday, most of the flagship tourneys comfortably sailed through and only a few registered overlays. The New Year promises to be action-packed with PokerBaazi’s ₹5 Crores GTD “PokerBaazi Classics” running from January 2 to 9.

The Millionaire Series Marvel winner Aman Bhadu topped the Thursday charts after winning Adda52’s Columbus for ₹4.47 Lakhs. ‘Am3304’ placed 2nd for ₹2.71 Lakhs.

The former Full House winner Young Gun Sanat Mehrotra, walked away with Spartan Poker’s Trending Thursday (IOPC Bubble) title for ₹2.92 Lakhs following a heads-up deal with ‘Dr Putin’ (2nd for ₹2.76 Lakhs).

PokerBaazi regular ‘mittalgang‘ won The Summit for ₹3.83 Lakhs beating Aditya Singh (2nd for ₹2.69 Lakhs) heads-up.

Aayush Arya earned ₹2.86 Lakhs in Thursday winnings, including two fourth-place finishes in Adda52’s Columbus for ₹1.44 Lakhs and Spartan Poker’s Trending Thursday for ₹1.31 Lakhs.

Shagun Jain placed 2nd in PokerStars India’s Highroller for ₹1.69 Lakhs and won Adda52’s Bumper Car for ₹83,635.

Rohil Banerjee, Akshay Panwar, Sandeep Chhabra, Shekhar Singh, Gopal Bajaj, and Ajay Dasila were the other prominent title winners.

Spartan Poker’s ₹15 Lakhs GTD Trending Thursday (IOPC Bubble) pulled in 321 entries, creating a ₹16.05 Lakhs prize pool. After over seven hours of play, the former Full House winner Young Gun Sanat ‘orhem3001’ Mehrotra, walked away with the title for ₹2.92 Lakhs following a heads-up deal with ‘Dr Putin’ (2nd for ₹2.76 Lakhs).

Sanat Mehrotra finished ITM in two more events, including an FT score, banking a collective ₹3.75 Lakhs.

Spartan Poker user rabadas was eliminated in 32nd place as the money bubble and received a ticket worth ₹4,400 for the ₹35 Lakhs GTD IOPC #4 Thursday Prime scheduled on January 20 (8 PM).

The ₹4 Lakhs GTD Deepstack (IOPC FT) posted a guarantee-crushing ₹5.34 Lakhs in the prize pool on the back of 534 entries. The former Monster Stack winner Rohil ‘Hitman.’ Banerjee clinched the title for ₹86,076 following a heads-up deal with Ishan ‘neatvat’ Upendra Tipre (2nd for ₹84,110). Site user ‘chiku16’ placed third for ₹49,555. The top three finishers also received a ticket for the ₹12 Lakhs GTD IOPC #1 Launch party scheduled on January 20 (1 PM).

Rohil Banerjee boosted his Spartan Poker earnings to ₹4.70 Lakhs after the win.

‘RUNLIKEBOLT’ (Won Night Rider Deepstack ₹2 Lakhs GTD for ₹46,500), ‘badbeat82’ (Won The Centurion ₹50K GTD for ₹10,233), Ajay ‘TimeTraveller’ Dasila (Won Epic ₹30K GTD for ₹7,665), and ‘sahilp120369’ (Won Striker ₹18K GTD for ₹4,529) shipped the other Thursday marquees on Spartan Poker.

PokerBaazi’s Thursday tournament schedule was headlined by The Summit. The ₹15 Lakhs GTD tourney rode past the posted guarantee, collecting ₹16.27 Lakhs in the prize pool on the back of 217 entries. Taking off at 8 PM, the play culminated at 3.22 AM with site regular ‘mittalgang‘ claiming the bragging rights for ₹3.83 Lakhs. Former Sunday Superstack champion Aditya ‘konstantin’ Singh finished one spot behind to earn ₹2.69 Lakhs. The champion now has ₹21.27 Lakhs in PokerBaazi scores.

Aditya Singh cashed out in another two events, collectively earning ₹3.16 Lakhs on Thursday, boosting his lifetime winnings to ₹1.65 Crores (excluding PokerStars India).

His scores were:

The ₹4 Lakhs GTD SPRINT was championed by ‘lockwood’ for ₹1.09 Lakhs. The mystery player bested 232 entries, eventually dominating Sanjay ‘raskolnikov’ Chauudhury (runner-up for ₹76,606) in the head’s-up showdown.

The ₹2,200 buy-in tournament generated a ₹4.64 Lakhs prize pool.

PokerStars India’s ₹10 Lakhs GTD Highroller obliterated its advertised guarantee as 119 entrants bought in for ₹7,700. The top 15 places benefitted from the ₹1.67 Lakhs overlay value. Walking away with the lion’s share of the prize pool was ‘Sudhirkad,’ who banked ₹2.19 for the win. The former The Millionaire & Game Changer 2.0 champion Shagun ‘Sogani22’ Jain placed runner-up for ₹1.69 Lakhs.

Jain earned a collective ₹2.61 Lakhs from three deep runs, including a title win.

The final Thursday of 2021 on Adda52 was headlined by the ₹15 Lakhs GTD Columbus. The ₹4,999 buy-in event locked in 397 entries leading to a prize pool collection of ₹18.04 Lakhs. Aman ‘zontory’ Bhadu championed the event, banking a ₹4.47 Lakhs payday. This was the former Millionaire Series Marvel winner’s third title win of 2021.

Aman Bhadu’s online stats – Lifetime Winnings: ₹1.44 Crores | Lifetime Profit: ₹77.5 Lakhs

‘Am3304’ (2nd for ₹2.71 Lakhs) and Sumit ‘runrabbitrun’ Advani (3rd for ₹1.89 Lakhs) rounded out the top three payouts.

The Game Changer 2.0 champion Shagun ‘sogani94’ Jain triumphed over a field of 297 entrants in the ₹2.5 Lakhs GTD Bumper Car, claiming the lion’s share of the ₹3.27 Lakhs prize pool worth ₹83,635. Avinash ‘i_fart_you_faint’ Kumar came in second for ₹49,822.

‘Bujo’ (Won Nighttide DST Adda ₹1.5 Lakhs GTD for ₹31,209) and ‘smahtani’ (Won Classic 200 ₹20K GTD for ₹4,253) won the other flagships on the site yesterday.

Wednesday’s 6 Feet Under PLO Deepstack champion ‘trickett’ took down the ₹30K GTD, Hitman PLO title for ₹11,100. ‘Paullmmi1’ fired six bullets to secure the runner-up spot for ₹7,500.
