The Indian poker scene is a raging inferno as the year draws to a close! Over in Vietnam, the USOP Grand Finale Hai Phong is in full swing, and it’s the biggest poker party the country has ever seen. And Team India is making its presence known! After an incredible 28 cash finishes, they finally grabbed victory last night.
Ankit Bhansali took down the VN₫ 10 Million Midweek Superstack, facing off against none other than Natural8 India Executive Director Kunal Patni in the final heads-up showdown. Patni, who has been on fire this series with four cashes and two final table appearances, ultimately struck a deal with Bhansali, who walked away with over ₹24 Lakhs. And that’s not all – Wednesday saw numerous other Indian players finding success in Vietnam!
Meanwhile, back home, the online action was just as fierce. PokerBaazi and Natural8 India continue to dominate the landscape, and the anticipation for the upcoming ₹35 Crores GTD WPT India Online on PokerBaazi is reaching a fever pitch. Wednesday’s action gave us a taste of what’s to come, with intense battles all across! Indian poker is gearing up for an explosive finish to the year.
Speaking of explosive, Wednesday night was another scorcher, and Amit Gehani was the one holding the flamethrower. This banker, who previously took down the IOPC The Crown, conquered PokerBaazi’s The Pride just four weeks after his victory in The Endeavour Lite. Gehani locked up a massive ₹4.12 Lakhs after a three-way deal, adding an eighth flagship title to his PokerBaazi trophy case this year. And with a deep run in the WTF, Gehani ended the day as the top scorer, racking up over ₹4.19 Lakhs in total winnings. Trailing Gehani in The Pride were ‘Acesfull0107‘ with a personal-best ₹3.28 Lakhs and newcomer ‘Heartquake‘ who snagged ₹3.23 Lakhs, erasing a big chunk of past losses in one go.
But The Pride wasn’t the only game in town. PokerBaazi regular ‘oled,’ who had a podium finish in The MoneyMaker in March, finally broke through with their first win on the platform after four and a half years of grinding. A heads-up deal in the WTF landed them a ₹2.69 Lakhs payday. Anand S gave them a run for their money, finishing as the runner-up with a site-best ₹2.37 Lakhs.
Over on Adda52, Surbhit Grover was on a tear, ending a five-week drought in spectacular fashion with two back-to-back titles. He started with a small win in the MMA Daily, pocketing ₹17,061, before conquering the Maverick for ₹2.10 Lakhs after a heads-up deal. Add in a deep run in PokerBaazi’s WTF, and Grover’s total winnings for the day soared to nearly ₹2.36 Lakhs. ‘Jaruplavath‘ came in second in the Maverick, netting a personal best ₹1.97 Lakhs from the deal (over 27 times their previous best score), catapulting them into the black on Adda52.
On Pocket52, Pradip Ghosh, the “SPRINT King” and last week’s (7-Max) Deepstack Turbo and PokerBaazi’s The Quest Lite winner, added another victory to his resume, crushing the Pocket Rockets for ₹1.88 Lakhs. This win, combined with five other deep runs across different platforms, brought his total winnings for the day to ₹2.30 Lakhs. Arpan Majhi followed close behind in second place, adding ₹1.32 Lakhs to his bankroll.
Meanwhile, the action on Natural8 India was just as eventful, with five players making their mark:
Back on PokerBaazi, Siddharth Pandey, fresh off a win in Pocket52’s PPC Pocket Magnets and a near miss in Spartan Poker’s Tuesday Twister, captured his first-ever The Pride Lite title. This victory earned him ₹1.57 Lakhs, pushing his total winnings for the day to ₹1.66 Lakhs. Karan Sitlani, the “High Roller Specialist,” came in second, adding ₹1.04 Lakhs to his bankroll.
Junglee Poker’s mysterious grinder ‘bubalove‘ conquered the Wednesday Superstack, banking ₹1.66 Lakhs.
PokerBaazi regular ‘IQ100,’ the NPS#89 Slamdunk gold medalist, continued their winning streak, taking down Daily Last Chance after their victory in Monday’s Evening SPRINT. This win brought their earnings for the day to ₹1.65 Lakhs, their second-biggest score on the platform this year. ‘abhh88‘ fought hard to finish runner-up for ₹1.22 Lakhs.
Wednesday’s action also saw victories for Niteen Raj (won two titles), Jay Gautam, Nikhil Segel, and Gaurang Bhatti in other marquee events.

Amit ‘kavipri’ Gehani, the banker who balances spreadsheets with high-stakes online poker, has done it again! This former IOPC The Crown champion, known for his fearless plays and knack for defying the odds, has added another significant victory to his growing list of accomplishments. Just four weeks after conquering The Endeavour Lite, Gehani has taken down PokerBaazi’s ₹30 Lakhs GTD The Pride!
Gehani’s poker journey is anything but ordinary. While he may be a banker by day, he’s a true maverick on the virtual felt. His aggressive style, a blend of calculated risks and audacious bluffs, has led to both spectacular highs and crushing lows. He’s a player who isn’t afraid to put everything on the line, a high-wire act that keeps everyone guessing. Even though his overall record may show a loss, it’s his penchant for breakthrough victories and his refusal to back down that sets him apart.
In the weeks leading up to this victory, Gehani had been a constant presence on the virtual felt, making deep runs and reaching two final tables. But the top spot, that coveted first-place finish remained elusive. That all changed last night.
Facing a challenging field of 319 opponents (574 total entries) in The Pride, PokerBaazi’s 8 PM mid-week headliner, Gehani unleashed his trademark aggressive play. For seven and a half hours, he battled it out, navigating the ups and downs of the tournament with unwavering focus. The final table was a high-pressure environment. As the field narrowed to three, the tension in the virtual room was palpable. A deal was struck, but Gehani’s desire to win burned brighter than ever. With a combination of calculated aggression, expert reads, and a dash of good fortune, he seized victory, claiming his first-ever The Pride title and a massive ₹4.12 Lakhs prize.
This win is not just another notch on Gehani’s belt; it’s his eighth PokerBaazi flagship title this year and an astounding 22nd overall in 2024. Clearly, this is a player operating at the top of his game.
And he wasn’t done yet. Gehani kept the party going with a deep run in PokerBaazi’s WTF, bringing his total winnings for the night to over ₹4.19 Lakhs – making him the day`s top scorer!
> 1st in PokerBaazi’s The Pride for ₹4,12,018* (three-way deal)
> 85th in PokerBaazi’s WTF for ₹7,200
Amit Gehani’s online stats (PokerBaazi, Spartan Poker and Adda52): Lifetime Winnings: ₹6.34 Crores | Lifetime Profits: ₹40 Lakhs | Titles Won in 2024: #22 | Annual Winnings: ₹1.49 Crores
The Pride also saw some noteworthy performances from other players. The enigmatic ‘Acesfull0107,‘ a seasoned veteran active since April 2018, claimed second place and a personal-best ₹3.28 Lakhs from the deal. And in a remarkable turn of events, the mysterious ‘Heartquake,‘ a relative newcomer, stormed to third place and a site-best ₹3.23 Lakhs, recovering nearly 60% of their past losses in a single, strong run.
The Pride also saw solid final table finishes by Avishek ‘Ronywalker’ Mistry (5th for ₹1.35 Lakhs) and Anshul ‘Bags05’ Bagai (8th for ₹72,600).
With a slight ₹1.30 Lakhs overlay, The Pride was a profitable affair for many. With a buy-in of ₹5,750, the top 84 finishers all walked away with at least ₹10,200, making it another memorable Wednesday night on PokerBaazi.

The lights were dim, the tension was thick, and the virtual cards were flying. Wednesday night on PokerBaazi was electric, with a full slate of tournaments, but all eyes were on the ₹20 Lakhs GTD WTF as it kicked off its weekly three-day run. Sure, The Pride might have been the biggest game in town last night, but the WTF always draws a hungry crowd, and this time, 387 players (706 entries) answered the call, each one dreaming of victory.
Over seven hours. That’s how long it took for the field to be whittled down, the chip stacks to rise and fall, and fortunes to be won and lost. And when the dust settled, a familiar name emerged from the chaos: ‘oled’.
Now, ‘oled’ wasn’t some newcomer making a lucky break. They’d been grinding on PokerBaazi since April 2020, putting in the hours, battling the variance, and even grabbing a podium finish in The MoneyMaker in March. But a win, that elusive victory, had always seemed just out of reach. They’d come close – agonizingly close – even making the final table of this 7:30 PM flagship event just two months ago.
This time, something felt different. Fueled by past near misses, ‘oled’ fired three bullets in the WTF, each a declaration of intent. With a combination of calculated aggression, ice-cold reads, and a touch of that poker magic, they navigated the stacked field.
And then, it happened. Victory. ‘oled’ stood alone at the top, claiming their first-ever win on PokerBaazi and a ₹2.69 Lakhs prize (after a heads-up deal). It was a moment of triumph, a testament to their dedication, and a sweet taste of redemption, pushing them higher in the ranks and getting them a decent recovery from past losses.
oled’s PokerBaazi stats: Site Winnings: ₹52.69 Lakhs | Titles Won in 2024: #1
But the WTF wasn’t just about ‘oled.’ Anand ‘Losserscc’ S was right there in the thick of it, trading blows and refusing to back down. Fresh off a final table appearance in last month’s BSS Kickoff, Anand was hunting for his fourth win of the year. He came close, oh so close, settling for a hard-fought runner-up finish and a ₹2.37 Lakhs payday from the deal – his biggest score yet on PokerBaazi.
Anand S’s PokerBaazi stats: Site Winnings: ₹19.47 Lakhs | Site Profits: ₹6.46 Lakhs | Titles Won in 2024: #3
The action didn’t stop there. Akshay ‘fsociety’ Dhingra, a former #BB7 MoneyMaker and PBC#1 MoneyMaker podium finisher, also had a night to remember. A veteran grinder on PokerBaazi for over 6.5 years, Dhingra finally broke through with a win in the ₹2 Lakhs GTD (PLO-5) Boost – his first win this year after over a dozen final table appearances.
But he wasn’t done. Almost immediately after, he found himself at the WTF final table, eventually finishing on the podium and adding another ₹1.48 Lakhs to his winnings. And to top it off, Dhingra made a deep run in The Pride Lite, bringing his total Wednesday winnings to over ₹1.82 Lakhs, capping off an incredible performance!
> 3rd in PokerBaazi’s WTF for ₹1,48,000
> 1st in PokerBaazi’s (PLO-5) Boost for ₹27,784
> 28th in PokerBaazi’s The Pride Lite for ₹6,000
Akshay Dhingra’s online stats (excluding Natural8 India, Junglee Poker and Pocke52): Lifetime Winnings: ₹2.11 Crores | Lifetime Profits: ₹50.29 Lakhs | Titles Won in 2024: #1
The WTF also featured strong showings from other notable players, like last month’s WTF finalist Siddhant ‘ALLinBoy’ Gaurav (4th for ₹1,14,800) and last month’s PPC Highroller champion Rahul ‘Godfather10’ Purohit (6th for ₹76,800).
Even though the ₹2,750 buy-in WTF fell ₹3.13 Lakhs short of its ₹20 Lakhs guarantee, it provided an exciting and rewarding experience for players of all levels. With payouts for the top 111 finishers and even a min-cash worth ₹7,200, the tournament offered excellent value and a thrilling mid-week challenge.

Siddharth ‘Siddonuts’ Pandey, the sports entrepreneur with a burning passion for poker, turned PokerBaazi into his own personal high-stakes arena this Wednesday. He brought his signature aggressive style, the kind that makes opponents sweat, to the ₹10 Lakhs GTD The Pride Lite.
Pandey, a two-time BSS SuperStack champion currently ranked #10 on the annual TLB leaderboard, wasn’t there to simply participate. He was there to dominate. His recent win in Pocket52’s PPC Pocket Magnets had fueled his fire, and a near-miss at Spartan Poker’s Tuesday Twister only intensified his hunger. He was on a mission to break a short but frustrating three-week winning drought. Imagine the pressure: 302 opponents (537 total entries) standing between him and the 7:30 PM flagship title. He battled it out for six and a half hours; each raises a calculated risk, each call a statement of intent. Finally, when the chips were counted, Pandey reigned supreme, claiming his first-ever The Pride Lite title and a cool ₹1.57 Lakhs.
But Pandey’s success wasn’t limited to The Pride Lite. He also made a deep run in Adda52’s Maverick, bringing his total earnings for Wednesday to a fantastic ₹1.66 Lakhs.
> 1st in PokerBaazi’s The Pride Lite for ₹1,56,900
> 28th in Adda52’s Maverick for ₹9,110
Siddharth Pandey’s online stats (excluding Natural8 India, Junglee Poker and Pocket52): Lifetime Winnings: ₹8.81 Crores | Lifetime Profits: ₹1.28 Crores | Titles Won in 2024: #14 | Annual Winnings: ₹2.04 Crores | Annual Profits: ₹51.38 Lakhs | Ranked #10 in the 2024 TLB (Points) Leaderboard Standings
The final showdown in The Pride Lite was a thrilling spectacle, a duel between Pandey and none other than Karan ‘collingwood’ Sitlani, the infamous “High Roller Specialist.” Sitlani, who recently crossed the ₹4 Crore mark in tracked online winnings and had a second-place finish in Sunday’s BSS SPRINT, was also gunning for his first The Pride Lite title. Armed with three bullets and a reputation that preceded him, Sitlani fought tooth and nail but, in the end, had to accept a hard-fought second place and ₹1.04 Lakhs, while Pandey walked away with the crown.
Karan Sitlani’s online stats (excluding Natural8 India, Junglee Poker and Pocket52): Lifetime Winnings: ₹4.11 Crores | Lifetime Profits: ₹78.15 Lakhs | Titles Won in 2024: #17 | Annual Winnings: ₹1.84 Crores | Annual Profits: ₹38.20 Lakhs
The Pride Lite also saw some solid performances from other familiar players, like Tejpal ‘Nutsbreaker’ Singh (3rd for ₹78,000), Harsh ‘buric21’ Bharti (4th for ₹57,300), and the always-dangerous Debneil ‘ChhotaDon’ Mukherjee (7th for ₹31,600).
With a ₹2,000 buy-in, The Pride Lite was already a hot ticket, but a juicy ₹65,620 overlay made it irresistible. The top 82 finishers got a share of the ₹10 Lakhs prize pool, with even the minimum cash worth a respectable ₹4,800, making it a profitable Wednesday night for many.

PokerBaazi’s ₹10 Lakhs GTD Daily Last Chance delivered another night of high-stakes action, with the virtual felt buzzing until the break of dawn. A guarantee-crushing turnout of 311 players (552 entries) piled into the 10:30 PM flagship event, but after a gruelling night of poker battles, it was the enigmatic ‘IQ100’ who stood tall, claiming victory and etching their name into the Daily Last Chance hall of fame.
‘IQ100’ first burst onto the scene with a memorable gold medal victory in the NPS#89 Slamdunk in March. This formidable player, a familiar face in the PokerBaazi MTT arena since last December, has been on a relentless winning streak. Fresh off a victory in Monday’s Evening SPRINT, they carried that momentum into the Daily Last Chance, adding another trophy to their collection. For over six hours, ‘IQ100’ navigated a treacherous field of seasoned pros and hungry challengers, demonstrating that a potent mix of skill and determination can conquer all. They seized a ₹1.65 Lakhs payday – their second-biggest score on PokerBaazi and a remarkable fifth win on the platform this year!
IQ100’s PokerBaazi stats: Site Winnings: ₹10.08 Lakhs | Site Profits: ₹3.53 Lakhs | Titles Won in 2024: #5
The Daily Last Chance also saw ‘abhh88,‘ a player who has been grinding on PokerBaazi since September 2021, come within a whisker of their first online victory. They fought hard but had to settle for second place, taking home ₹1.22 Lakhs. This impressive score, their second-best on the site, helped them recover nearly a third of their past losses.
Chennai’s Mukesh ‘Guruuu’ Surana, a decorated player with a history of success, was also in the hunt for the title. Surana, a past #BB3 The Moneymaker champion, a Baazi Millionaire from June, and the IPM#18 Big Megastack champion from August, was riding high on momentum after his Daily BOOST win just eight days ago. He was also looking to improve on his runner-up finish in this late-night flagship two days ago. Despite a strong performance, Surana finished in a respectable third place for ₹1.08 Lakhs.
Surana continued his grind with deep runs in two other PokerBaazi events, taking home almost ₹1.22 Lakhs for his day’s work.
> 3rd in PokerBaazi’s Daily Last Chance for ₹1,07,623

The Daily Last Chance final table featured a host of familiar faces. October’s Pocket Jacks winner Akash ‘Bazingaking’ Saluja (4th for ₹68,403) was in the mix, as were recent Daily Last Chance finalists Kamlesh ‘Malvette’ Raul (6th for ₹47,762) and Dr. Farhan ‘heisenberg369’ (7th for ₹37,802) along with Samarth ’tiltsingh’ Bhandari (8th for ₹27,961).

Wednesday night was no ordinary grind at the Adda52 tables as Surbhit ‘grovahova’ Grover, the Mohali-based online grinder, was amid a rampage, conjuring a whirlwind of wins and snatching not one but two titles in a single, unforgettable session.
Grover has been in stellar form lately. His red-hot streak ignited in October with a dominant victory in The MoneyMaker 90.0 during PokerBaazi’s 10th Anniversary celebrations. He carried that momentum into November, racking up five final table appearances. But then, a five-week drought. The poker gods seemed to have turned their backs… until this Wednesday.
His path of destruction began with the ₹75K GTD MMA Daily. He tore through the 164-entry field (79 unique) like a force of nature, leaving a trail of bewildered opponents in his wake. ₹17,061 and the title were his. But he wasn’t satisfied. This was just the warm-up.
With the hunger for victory burning in his eyes, Grover set his sights on the ₹12.50 Lakhs GTD Maverick, the 8 PM headliner and the crown jewel of Adda52’s Wednesday lineup.
The Maverick drew a formidable field of 203 contenders (344 total entries), each with dreams of glory and pockets full of ambition. For nearly eight long hours, the battle raged. Chips surged back and forth like tidal waves, bluffs were met with icy stares, and fortunes were made and shattered with every turn of the cards. But as the final hand played out, Grover stood tall amidst the wreckage, clutching the coveted Maverick title and a ₹2.10 Lakhs payday after a heads-up deal.
With this double victory, Grover’s title count for the year swelled to an astounding 19, with 11 of those coming on Adda52 alone. The Maverick triumph also represents his third-largest score of 2024. And as if that wasn’t enough, Grover capped off his mid-week masterclass with a deep run in PokerBaazi’s WTF, adding almost ₹2.36 Lakhs to his coffers.
> 1st in Adda52’s Maverick for ₹2,09,609* (heads-up deal)
> 1st in Adda52’s MMA Daily for ₹17,061
> 40th in PokerBaazi’s # WTF for ₹9,000
Surbhit Grover’s online stats (Adda52 and PokerBaazi): Lifetime Winnings: ₹2.55 Crores | Lifetime Profits: ₹48 Lakhs | Titles Won in 2024: #19 | Annual Winnings: ₹70.69 Lakhs | Annual Profits: ₹21.98 Lakhs
But Maverick wasn’t just the Grover show. It was also a night of redemption for ‘Jaruplavath,‘ a grinder who had been battling on the Adda52 felt since November 2022, searching for that elusive first title. In the Maverick, ‘Jaruplavath’ finally found their breakthrough moment. They fought tooth and nail to reach heads-up play in just their 19th tournament played. Though they fell short of the title, their second-place finish and ₹1.97 Lakhs prize from the deal (over 27 times their previous best!) was a monumental achievement, catapulting them back into profitability on Adda52 in spectacular fashion.
Jaruplavath’s Adda52 stats: Site Winnings: ₹2.13 Lakhs | Site Winnings: ₹1.69 Lakhs
The Maverick final table was stacked with accomplished regulars riding a wave of success, including recent Sunday Big Slick finalists Tanay ‘rujula16’ Kauntia (3rd for ₹1.26 Lakhs) and Arjun ‘arjunraghani4444’ Ragani (5th for ₹67,781), last month’s Maverick winner Sumit ‘runrabbitrun’ Advani (6th for ₹49,683), the ever-consistent Utkarsh ‘Mathfane’ Somaaieyaa (7th for ₹36,418), and Amit ‘hypnos_’ Sharma (8th for ₹26,694).
Despite the star-studded lineup, the ₹3,350 buy-in Maverick overlaid a whopping ₹2.52 Lakhs, turning it into a veritable goldmine for the players. The top 53 finishers all walked away with at least ₹7,941 – more than double their investment! It was a night of incredible value and unforgettable action for the Adda52 community.

Fresh off dominating PokerBaazi’s The Quest Lite and Pocket52’s (7-Max) Deepstack Turbo last week, along with podium finishes in Pocket Magnets and the (7-Max) Deepstack Turbo just the night before, Ghosh just scored another resounding victory in Pocket52’s ₹8 Lakhs GTD Pocket Rockets last night. This is his second title on the platform this year and at least his 19th victory in 2024 – a remarkable feat.
The Durgapur-based poker sensation is crushing the competition one tournament at a time, and with his first-ever win in this Wednesday event, he’s proving he’s still got plenty of gas in the tank!

Over the course of an intense seven-hour battle, Ghosh displayed his signature flair, systematically dismantling his opponents. When the final hand was dealt, he stood tall, claiming the top prize of ₹1.88 Lakhs – his third-biggest score on the platform and another trophy for his overflowing cabinet.

Arpan ‘Novus’ Majhi (opted out of our tracking) gave it his all in the Pocket Rockets, battling fiercely against a challenging field. However, when it came down to the wire, Ghosh’s dominance was undeniable. Majhi had to settle for a hard-fought second-place finish, adding ₹1.32 Lakhs to his bankroll.
The Pocket Rockets attracted some serious talent, and several top names made it to the final table. Battling alongside Ghosh and Majhi were Rishab ‘GOAT’ Malik, a three-time The Millionaire champion, who finished fourth for ₹62,880, and Mayank ‘muckforvalue’ Maruka, who nearly won the Tuesday Phoenix the night before, coming in seventh for ₹31,360.
While the Pocket Rockets, with its ₹3,300 buy-in, fell ₹99,720 short of its advertised ₹8 Lakhs guarantee, it offered incredible value to the 20 players who made it into the money. Each of them pocketed at least ₹8,400 – over 2.5 times the initial buy-in! Pocket52 definitely delivered an action-packed event with some serious rewards.
