Spartan Poker’s biggest-ever India Online Poker Championship (IOPC) 14.0 is fast approaching the finish line, with only four days left for the guarantee-crushing series to close its run. Adding an extra punch to the high-octane action will be PokerStars India’s first-ever Red Spade Series (RSS) which starts today alongside Pocket52’s FUNtastic February offerings.
Speaking of the Wednesday chartbusters, Anand Babu Pallikona earned the distinction for taking the February edition of PokerBaazi’s ₹1 Crore GTD The MoneyMaker for a career-best ₹12.53 Lakhs – almost 2X his previous best score. ‘1299sanj’ collected ₹7.63 Lakhs in second place.
Mahesh Shyamsundar was another head-turner, netting ₹9.54 Lakhs across four ITM finishes. The IPC Megastacks Kickoff champion most notably nailed Spartan Poker’s IOPC #107 Wednesday High for ₹9 Lakhs (his second IOPC Silver Badge), parlaying a ₹1,250 satellite investment. Tuesday’s The Endeavour champion Vishal Bajaj almost went back-to-back, banking ₹6.10 Lakhs in second place.
Sashank Chakravarthy shipped the day`s top IOPC attraction, Spartan Poker’s ₹50 Lakhs GTD IOPC #106 Wednesday Prime, for ₹8.03 Lakhs (won ₹8.15 Lakhs overall), striking a three-way deal with Pavan Kiran B (2nd for ₹7.41 Lakhs) and The MoneyMaker finalist Navaneesha P (3rd for ₹5.66 Lakhs) (won ₹8.91 Lakhs overall).

IOPC January 2023 Leaderboard Standings After Day 14
With just four days to go for the 14th edition of the IOPC to wrap up, Sunday’s IOPC Wanderer champion Vinay Rajpal (16,270 points) is still the player to catch in the series’ leaderboard standings. The top reg made deep runs in six IOPC tournaments yesterday, extending his ITM tally in the series to 68, completing his 10th straight day ranked #1 on the leaderboard.
The IOPC June 2021 leaderboard topper Young Gun Anuj Yadav (13,747 points) and ‘p@tience7744’ (12,751 points) continue to trail him at #2 and #3, respectively and will need a few big finishes soon if they hope to catch up.
