We are now on the business end of the National Poker Series, and it looks like it will be a smashing finale for the guarantee-crushing series in Goa.
The ₹1 Crore GTD NPS#69 Super Highroller will be the first of the three NPS flagships to host a live final table in Goa at the PokerBaazi LIVE poker room onboard Casino Majestic. And the finalists have been decided, with PokerGuru Ambassadors dominating the way. Last night, PokerGuru Staking`s Kartik Ved (3,176,000) and teammate Vishal Bajaj (3,000,000) bagged the top stacks for the six-handed final table to be played out in Goa next week.
Young Gun Siddhanth Kripalani spearheaded the list of NPS gold medal winners yesterday. The MTT pro won the NPS#70 Friday Force for ₹4.89 Lakhs (four-way deal), hitting two career milestones – crossing ₹1 Crore in annual earnings and ₹6 Crores in tracked online winnings.
Vinayak Bajaj was the last player standing in NPS#71 Friday Deepdive and won the NPS gold medal and a ₹2.60 Lakhs cash prize after striking a heads-up deal with Himanshu Arora (2nd for ₹2.20 Lakhs).
Usman Alam (Won NPS#72 SPRINT for ₹2.01 Lakhs), Achintya Acharya (Won NPS#67 Deepdive (5-Max) for ₹1.11 Lakhs), and Chirag Sodha (Won NPS#68 Megastack for ₹1.06 Lakhs) won the other NPS gold medals on Friday.
Aniket Waghmare topped the Friday charts, piling on a jaw-dropping ₹11.16 Lakhs overall. He most prominently won Adda52’s The Ballers for the fourth time for ₹5.53 Lakhs and placed third in Spartan Poker’s The Elite for ₹4.94 Lakhs.
The top-ranked player on the annual leaderboard, Young Gun Anuj Yadav, continued to exert his dominance by shipping Spartan Poker’s The Elite for the third time, banking ₹5.45 Lakhs. The three-time The Millionaire champion cumulatively raked in ₹9.64 Lakhs across three ITM finishes.
PokerGuru Ambassadors dominated the Friday Super Highrollers. In addition to making a solid run in the NPS Super Highroller, they crushed PokerStars India’s Super Highroller with stablemates Laksh Pal Singh and Mithun Mahesh chopping the event heads-up for ₹2.11 Lakhs each, and Singh walked away with the title.
Tarush Gupta, Amit Kaushik, Raman Arora, and Sarvesh Sharma won the other Friday majors.
