The busy summer season is on with three headline MTT stops underway – MPL Poker’s inaugural IPF, PokerBaazi’s first-ever THC, and the just-started 13th edition of Spartan Poker’s IOPC. And if this was not enough, PokerStars India’s Summer Series commenced its run less than an hour ago, signaling the start of arguably the busiest summer ever for Indian poker players.

And just as poker pioneer Aditya Agarwal was stomping past the competition in Event #3: $2,500 Freezeout No-Limit Hold’em at the 2022 WSOP, the first-ever IOPC Mastermind Aniket Waghmare was doing the same in Spartan Poker’s IOPC #5 – Thursday Prime. The two-time The Millionaire champion won the flagship title for ₹6.55 Lakhs, posting his second-best finish this year.

Hot on Waghmare’s trail was Pradip Ghosh, who made a breakout run on Adda52, winning the Godfather for ₹6.13 Lakhs. Ghosh made another four ITM finishes, collectively adding ₹6.31 Lakhs and crossed ₹2 Crores in tracked online winnings.

The biggest head-turner at MPL Poker`s ongoing IPF was the #2 ranked player of the year, Young Gun Arsh Grover, who championed the ₹20 Lakhs GTD IPF #9 for a site-best ₹4.20 Lakhs, with Rambhavan Yadav finishing second for ₹2.80 Lakhs. Grover collected over ₹5.17 Lakhs, emerging as one of the day`s top scorers.

Rishab Malik drove up the action on PokerBaazi as he took down The Summit for the second time this year for ₹4.17 Lakhs. He chopped the title heads-up with Rachit Soni (2nd for ₹3.68 Lakhs).

The top-ranked player of the year and the IOPC JULY 2021 leaderboard topper, Young Gun Anuj Yadav, was a prominent presence yesterday! The MTT phenom captured the IOPC #6 Thursday Spotlight for ₹2.89 Lakhs after striking a three-way deal with Sanket Arora (2nd for ₹2.73 Lakhs) and Tanmay Benara (3rd for ₹2.65 Lakhs). Yadav’s Thursday earnings touched ₹3.36 Lakhs.

PokerGuru Ambassador Ratul Steves grabbed the bragging rights in PokerBaazi’s THC#13 Deepstack for ₹2.43 Lakhs, claiming his first THC title. He collectively added ₹3.29 Lakhs. Vineesh Bhatia secured a runner-up payday of ₹1.70 Lakhs.

Sahil Mahboobani shipped PokerStars India’s Highroller for an impressive fourth time yesterday, netting ₹2.30 Lakhs. Ayush Garg picked up the runner-up payday of ₹1.77 Lakhs.

Haider Madraswala (Won THC #14 Superstack ₹7 Lakhs GTD for ₹1.20 Lakhs), Unnikrishnan Nair (Won THC#11 PKO ₹5 Lakhs GTD for ₹1.42 Lakhs) and Archit Aggarwal (Won THC#12 Monsterstack ₹7 Lakhs GTD for ₹ 1.41 Lakhs) won the other THC titles yesterday!
