Day 1A of the five-flight event registered 317 entries, and 37 survived the day`s onslaught. PokerGuru Ambassador Ankit ‘Shippament’ Wadhawan who simply unstoppable last night. He fired two bullets on Day 1A and ended up bagging a massive 276,602 stack for Day 2 Goonjan ‘gmtesting’ Mall (254,529) and this week`s The Millionaire champion Kunal ‘kvohra’ Vohra (209,315) placed #2 and #3 on the end-of-day chip counts list.
Spartan Poker has been tweaking the prize pool guarantee of its Thursday headliner, the Trending Thursday, quite frequently. While the past few editions have seen the guarantee fluctuate between ₹20 Lakhs to ₹19 Lakhs, it offered a ₹25 Lakhs GTD last week. The Trending Thursday ran with a slightly reduced ₹23 Lakhs prize pool guarantee last night and registered 470 entries to collect a ₹23.50 Lakhs prize pool. In the end, it was Annant ‘Yennnefer’ Jain who shipped the event for ₹4.71 Lakhs. The NPS Deepstack Championship winner Ankit ‘Shippament’ Wadhawan missed a second title – placing runner-up for ₹3.13 Lakhs.
