Coming back after a fantastic Sunday outing, PokerGuru Ambassadors had another field day last night. Following through on Mithun Mahesh‘s The Millionaire win on Sunday, his teammates Ankit Wadhawan and former Millionaire champion Vivek Singh added two more titles to PokerGuru Staking’s ever-growing tally.

Ankit Wadhawan was Monday’s star winner as he took down Spartan Poker’s The Big Deal for an impressive ₹8.83 Lakhs. The former ATOC Mini Main Event champion Surbhit Grover finished runner-up for ₹6 Lakhs.

With Spartan Poker deciding to host both The Big Deal and ReCharge on the same day, it was double the excitement for poker enthusiasts. The second marquee tourney, ReCharge, had an eventful run with Sanket Arora championing the event for ₹2.11 Lakhs.

Vivek Singh was the second PokerGuru Ambassador to capture a flagship title yesterday, and he bagged Adda52’s Iron Man title for ₹1.97 Lakhs.

Gaurav Bhandari ended his seven-month-long dry spell by taking down PokerBaazi’s The Big Show for ₹1.77 Lakhs.

Sanjay Mohan (Won Adda52’s Voyager for ₹91,500), Rajneesh Thakur (Won PokerBaazi’s 6-Max Holdem Boost for ₹65,607) and Shubham Nirban (Won PokerBaazi’s PLO Boost Monster for ₹34,570) took down the other marquee titles.

Spartan Poker

After a failed attempt to run both The Big Deal and ReCharge on the same day last week, Spartan Poker successfully pulled it off last night.

Headlining the day’s roster was the ₹35 Lakhs GTD The Big Deal that kicked off at 9:30 PM. After late registrations had been concluded, the event posted a ₹36.80 Lakhs prize pool on the back of 184 entrants, who ponied up the ₹22,000 entry buy-in. It was nearly 5 AM on the tournament clock by the time PokerGuru Ambassador Ankit ‘Shippament’ Wadhawan took down the event. The former Holdem High Roller champion Wadhawan outlasted the former ATOC Mini Main Event champion Surbhit ‘grovahova’ Grover (runner-up for ₹6 Lakhs) in heads-up play, with Wadhawan taking home a winner’s paycheque worth ₹8.83 Lakhs. Ankit Wadhawan now has ₹5.17 Crores in recorded online winnings.

Starting exactly an hour-and-a-half before The Big Deal was Spartan Poker`s Monday staple, the ₹10 Lakhs GTD ReCharge. The ₹2,200 entry buy-in event collected 546 entries, generating a ₹10.92 Lakhs prize pool. Sanket’ BANK$Y’ Arora was the last player standing following almost seven hours of play, pocketing a handsome ₹2.11 Lakhs top prize. The two-time Millionaire champion Manish ‘thekid’ Lakhotia, the #2 ranked player on the annual leaderboard, placed runner-up for ₹1.34 Lakhs. With this win, Sanket Arora’s lifetime earnings crossed ₹3.63 Crores.

PokerStars India’s ₹3 Lakhs GTD Battle Royale was the site`s headline event on Monday and recorded 201 entries, creating a ₹3.19 Lakhs prize pool. The user

‘MrBigSlick139’ (anonymity requested) was the last player standing and won ₹70,294 (includes ₹42,746 in bounties), after besting ‘Bashir@321’ heads-up. The runner-up received ₹41,457 (includes ₹13,909 in bounties).

‘drogonaces7’ shipped the ₹1.5 Lakhs GTD Deepstack for ₹34,970 (includes ₹19,746 in bounties), while ‘stanoneil86’ came second for ₹21,122 (includes ₹5,898 in bounties). The event logged in 128 entries, overlaying a marginal ₹4,464.

PokerBaazi’s ₹7.50 Lakhs GTD The Big Show locked in 339 participants, collecting a hefty ₹8.48 Lakhs prize pool. Ending an exactly seven-month-long title drought,

Gaurav ‘Zillastar’ Bhandari emerged victorious to win the ₹1.77 Lakhs up-top cash prize. The user ‘jaideepmanocha’ placed runner-up for ₹1.24 Lakhs. Bhandari currently boasts ₹1.21 Crores in tracked online earnings.

PokerBaazi regular Rajneesh ‘msdhoni’ Thakur captured the ₹1.5 Lakhs GTD 6-Max Holdem Boost title for an impressive seventh time last night for ₹65,607.

Naman ‘KidPoker09’ Puri booked the runner-up spot for ₹46,035. The ₹1,100 entry buy-in event logged in 297 entries, and the ₹2.97 Lakhs prize pool was distributed among the top 36 finishers.

Thakur almost took down two late-night tourneys on the site on Monday, working up ₹96K in total winnings. His deep runs include:

The Young Gun defeated ‘rishal55’ (runner-up for ₹1.17 Lakhs) heads-up to claim his career-second Iron Man title, pushing his lifetime winnings north of ₹5.62 Crores.

The ₹2.75 Lakhs GTD Voyager clocked in 366 entries, creating a ₹3.66 Lakhs prize pool. After a little over six hours of non-stop tournament action, Sanjay ‘smr1g10’ Mohan shipped the event for ₹91,500, while ‘LaufingBuddha’ secured the second-place payout worth ₹55,449.

Redefining the usual slow-paced Mondays, Spartan Poker ran its alternating Monday flagships together last night.

The biggest tourney of the day was the ₹22,000 entry buy-in high roller tourney, the

₹35 Lakhs GTD The Big Deal. After getting canceled last week, the event managed to bring in an impressive 184 MTT regs, making for a guarantee-crushing ₹36.80 Lakhs prize pool. The top 20 places boarded the money bus.

For the second day running, the day`s top scorer title landed on a PokerGuru Ambassador, with 27-year-old Ankit ‘Shippament’ Wadhawan outlasting the competition to win the ₹8.83 Lakhs up-top. Surbhit ‘grovahova’ Grover settled for the runner-up spot, netting ₹5.99 Lakhs.

Wadhawan`s The Big Deal victory brought one of two Monday titles for PokerGuru Staking, with Vivek Singh bagging the other in Adda52’s Iron Man for ₹1.97 Lakhs.

The former Sunday Superstack champion Sanket ‘BANK$Y’ Arora cut his way across the competition to win the title and the ₹2.11 Lakhs cash prize that came with it. The win must have been a welcome break for Arora, who has made a top-three finish in the ReCharge on at least four previous attempts, but this was his first time winning the tourney.

The #2 ranked player on the annual leaderboard, Manish ‘thekid’ Lakhotia, placed runner-up for ₹1.34 Lakhs.
