Spartan Poker`s most prominent tournament franchise, the ₹1 Crore GTD Millionaire is back for another edition, and Friday saw the first of five starting flights play out. Day 1A drew 414 entries (233 unique, 79 re-entries, and 102 re-buys), and after 25 levels of play, 56 of them qualified for Day 2. PokerGuru Ambassador Vishal ‘CrownUpJr’ Bajaj bagged the end-of-day chip lead with a stack of 383,032, while the in-form Armaan ‘space ace’ Kochhar (279,160) and ‘Ri$er13’ (216,366) carried forward the next top stacks.
The Friday headliner ₹35 Lakhs The Elite pulled in 341 contenders (151 unique, 85 re-entries, and 105 re-buys), filling in a ₹90,000 deficit. After nearly nine hours of play, Ankur ‘Crimemastergogo’ Sehgal emerged victorious to bank a career-best ₹7.40 Lakhs. ‘TheDarkKnightReturns’ finished runner-up for ₹4.98 Lakhs. After this win, Sehgal now has ₹1.38 Crores in recorded earnings.
Running alongside The Elite was the ₹11 Lakhs GTD TGIF. The ₹1,650 entry buy-in tourney logged-in 657 entrants, falling ₹1.15 Lakhs short of its listed guarantee. It took close to eight hours before ‘UnityPro’ navigated their way through the field to win the title and ₹2.13 Lakhs even as ‘iammrmeeseeks’ finished runner-up for ₹1.34 Lakhs. This happens to be the mystery winner’s first major title under the moniker.
In the ₹4.1 Lakhs GTD UVS #30 DeepStack Turbo, Sanjay Taneja came out on top to win ₹55,558.
PokerStars India
PokerStars India’s Friday mainstay, the ₹12 Lakhs GTD Highroller, began proceedings at 7.30 PM yesterday. After a little over three and a half hours of late registrations, the tourney recorded 146 entries to post an overlay of ₹1.05 Lakhs. The field whittled down to a heads-up finale between Young Gun Arsh ‘BiggggTymeR’ Grover and Sandeep ‘SANDYINC.’ Rajora. The duo struck a heads-up deal with the former taking down the title and ₹2.38 Lakhs. Rajora collected ₹2.01 Lakhs for his runner-up finish.
Grover, who is ranked #2 on the annual leaderboard, enjoyed a smashing Friday night session as he also placed runner-up in PokerBaazi’s The Weekly HighRoller for ₹3.49 Lakhs. The over ₹5.80 Lakhs haul last night helped Grover become the second player after Young Gun Gaurav Sood to cross ₹3 Crores in recorded earnings for the year. He is also placed 5th on this week`s “Star of The Month” leaderboard with 461 points.
The ₹5 Lakhs GTD Battle Royale saw Adithiyya ‘Bezerkk1’ Sb besting the 205-entry field to win ₹1.27 Lakhs (₹50,318 in prize money and ₹76,670 in bounties). The runner-up ‘crimemastergo19’ banked ₹49,956 (₹37,065 in prize money and ₹12,891 in bounties).
The ₹1 Lakhs GTD Bigstack Turbo was taken down by ‘muttonmm’ for ₹25,157. The tourney logged in 72 entries to post a shortfall of ₹28,000. The top 13 places received payouts and “Star of the Month” leaderboard points.

Adda52 had two multi-flight tourneys running yesterday, along with its patent Friday marquees.
The ₹60 Lakhs GTD Grand Mega Suits ran the first out of its four starting flights, attracting 181 contenders on Day 1A. After 29 ten-minute levels, only 19 players survived. Topping the list of survivors was PokerGuru Ambassador Laksh ‘BoomTilt23’ Pal Singh (370,500) with Chandan ‘darkfish15’ Arora (275,417) and Young Gun Shardul ‘Vamos96’ Parthasarathi (206,328) next in line. Day 2 starts at 10:15 PM on October 18.
The ₹35 Lakhs GTD Nano Main Event completed its fifth starting flight on Friday. The ₹1,650 entry buy-in tourney drew 330 entries on Day 1E, to add to its existing 795 entries (Day 1A – 121, Day 1B – 201, Day 1C – 204, and Day 1D – 269). After 29 eight-minute levels of play, 42 players made it to the Finale that starts at 7 PM on October 18. Anonymous user ‘jagggi’ (307,823) bagged the end-of-day chip lead with Siddharth ‘CARDashian66’ Kadel (257,350) and ‘Avi81’ (224,882) close behind. The Day 1A chip leader ‘papakratos’ still holds the overall chip lead with a stack of 467,940. The last of the six scheduled flights take place today.
Adda52’s Friday flagship ₹22.5 Lakhs GTD The Ballers logged in 296 entries to post a deficit of ₹2.22 Lakhs. It was 4.43 AM in the morning today when the tournament culminated, handing out the title and a fat ₹5.76 Lakhs paycheque to the former Game Changer champion Siddhanth ‘Sidstack’ Kripalani. Seasoned pro Guneet ‘guntz’ Kwatra finished runner-up for ₹3.43 Lakhs. Kripalani currently boasts ₹1.83 Crores in recorded lifetime MTT scores, and this is his best finish on Adda52.
Another player to win a marquee title on Friday was ‘enjay1968.’ They padded their bankroll by ₹1.43 Lakhs after topping the 262-entry field in the ₹5.5 Lakhs GTD Running Hot. The tourney suffered a marginal ₹26,000 shortfall. Harsh ‘harsh20’ Karanpuria finished runner-up for ₹85,250.
PokerBaazi
The ₹20 Lakhs GTD Weekly HighRoller was the biggest guaranteed tourney running on PokerBaazi yesterday. The ₹11,000 entry buy-in event drew 186 runners to fall ₹1.40 Lakh short on the advertised guarantee. Things played down to a climactic finale with Young Gun Arsh ‘Button_Hai_Bro’ Grover and ‘dilbaghsingh,’ jostling for the bragging rights. Eventually, the latter took down the title for ₹4.97 Lakhs, with the PokerStars India Highroller champion Grover having to make-do with a runner-up score worth ₹3.49 Lakhs. The winner ‘dilbaghsingh’ is a PokerBaazi regular with ₹55.33 Lakhs in recorded earnings on the site and ₹6.93 Lakhs in net profits.
The ₹3 Lakhs GTD Friday SuperStack attracted 125 entries to post an overlay of ₹50,000. ‘pagalkutta’ was the last player standing and banked ₹80,400 after eliminating ‘amantiwari112’ (runner-up for ₹56,310) in second place.
