The Coronavirus epidemic that has presently put many countries on lockdown was also the reason behind the final table for PokerBaazi’s PPL#43 Highroller 6-Max ₹50 Lakhs GTD being moved online. The final table was previously meant to take place onboard the PokerBaazi LIVE poker room in Goa. Still, after some of the final table finishers expressed concern over traveling to Goa, the final table for both the Highroller and PPL#58 The MoneyMaker ₹1 Crore GTD was shifted online.
The Highroller played out last night. Young Gun Ujjwal ‘Mr_Robot’ Narwal had entered the final table with the biggest stack of 3,038,213 with Anmol ‘anzzzzz’ Mehta (1,733,716) and PokerGuru Ambassador Laksh ‘boomtlt23’ Pal Sing (1,256,083) a very distant second and third in chips. Following several hours of intense play, it was Mehta who secured the title and top prize of ₹14.91 Lakhs after besting ‘bababones’ heads-up (runner-up for ₹10.46 Lakhs).
The PokerBaazi Monthly Value Series (PMVS) is well underway, and the marquee event on the Friday schedule was the PMVS#10 Fri-Yay ₹6 Lakhs GTD. Young Gun Arsh ‘Button_Hai_Bro’ Grover championed the event and took home ₹1.60 Lakhs in prize money, while Puneet ‘neo1’ Dua came in second for ₹1.12 Lakhs.

PokerGuru Ambassador Vivek ‘KasolHieghts’ Singh finished runner-up for ₹1.67 Lakhs.
