On the heels of a power-packed Sunday, Monday dimmed in comparison and did not offer as many big-ticket tournaments. There were still a few flagships that played out yesterday. Let us give you a quick rundown.

Spartan Poker

Spartan Poker’s ReCharge ₹15 Lakhs GTD was the biggest guaranteed tourney on offer yesterday. The event pulled in 660 entries (305 unique, 103 re-entries, and 252 re-buys), resulting in an overlay of ₹1.80 Lakhs. Anonymous player

‘pokamocha27’ shipped the event for ₹2.91 Lakhs, while ‘BackdoorMan’ came in second for ₹1.84 Lakhs.

Aman ‘KarmaPoker’ Parakh has been crushing the MTTs over the past few weeks, and his most recent scores include winning PokerBaazi’s PMVS The Ridge for ₹2.52 Lakhs on May 15. He added yet another sum of ₹1.37 Lakhs to his bankroll after taking down Spartan Poker’s Deep Freeze last night. His consistency has earned him the top spot on the monthly TLB leaderboard, and he boasts of ₹1.1 Crore in recorded online winnings.

There is even more tournament action lined up on Spartan Poker with the Ultimate Value Series (UVS) kicking off yesterday. The weeklong series, ending on May 24, offers more than 1 Crore in prize pool guarantees. The flagship event on the UVS roster last night was the UVS#7 Destiny Jr ₹5 Lakhs GTD that logged in 389 entries (175 unique, 51 re-entries and 163 rebuys) and posted a prize pool of ₹5.83 Lakhs. This was his second runner-up finish as he took second place in the Afternoon Showdown earlier.

Adda52

With the Adda Online Poker Series (AOPS) now in the books, the site returned to hosting its weekly scheduled tournaments. On Monday night, the marquee event on offer was the Inception ₹10 Lakhs GTD that featured a buy-in of ₹3,500 and drew in 312 participants (175 unique and 137 re-entries). The site had to fill in a very minor overlay of ₹1,600.
