Spartan Poker`s biggest-ever India Turbo Series is almost here, with the first event slotted to start at 3 PM.

The most recent The MoneyMaker champion, Young Gun Anmol Mehta, pulled out a prolific run last night, banking the day`s best ₹6.89 Lakhs to storm into the top five of the September leaderboard rankings. The lawyer-turned-poker-pro posted runner-up in two headline tournaments – Adda52’s Godfather (₹3.62 Lakhs) and PokerBaazi’s The Summit (₹3.23 Lakhs).

‘Theshark100’ championed the Godfather (₹6.12 Lakhs), while the PokerBaazi user ‘gdgdg’ took down The Summit (₹4.61 Lakhs).

Returning after an extended break, Srihari Bang championed Spartan Poker’s Thursday High Roller for ₹5.96 Lakhs – banking the day’s single-largest score. He chopped the title heads-up with Ritesh ‘Tom Keen’ Khatwani (2nd for ₹5.73 Lakhs).

Like Anmol Mehta, PokerGuru Ambassador Vishal Bajaj was another Thursday trailblazer, with two top finishes and over ₹6 Lakhs in total winnings. The MTT pro finished runner-up in Spartan Poker’s Ultron (₹3.78 Lakhs via a HU deal with stablemate Mithun Mahesh) and championed PokerStars India’s Highroller for the second time this year (₹2.23 Lakhs).

Lavesh Meena posted runner-up finishes in PokerStars India`s Highroller and PokerBaazi’s (6-Max) Holdem BOOST, adding ₹2.03 Lakhs to his Thursday scorecard.

Another top pro Sriharsha Doddapaneni fired up four deep runs (including two FT finishes), adding ₹4.45 Lakhs to his burgeoning bankroll and crossing ₹50 Lakhs in annual winnings. His prominent finishes came in Spartan Poker’s Thursday High Roller (3rd for ₹3.18 Lakhs) and PokerStars India’s Highroller (6th for ₹63,161).

PokerGuru Staking coach Mithun Mahesh walked away with Spartan Poker’s Ultron title last night (at least his 12th this year) and ₹4.06 Lakhs in prize money. He chopped the title with his stablemate & last night’s Highroller champion Vishal Bajaj.
