Daily Majors: Anmol Narang, Shravan Chhabria, Anuj Yadav, Harsh Dembla & Gopal Bajaj Dominate the Wednesday Marquees

We are now just two days away from closing out the year. Most of the Wednesday flagships comfortably sailed through and only a few registered overlays.

The former The Millionaire champion Anmol Narang was the day’s top scorer as he won Spartan Poker’s Destiny (IOPC Bubble) for ₹4.65 Lakhs. A heads-up deal saw MTT pro Shravan Chhabria placing runner-up for ₹4.36 Lakhs.

The three-time The Millionaire champion Young Gun Anuj Yadav took down Adda52’s Wipeout for ₹3.10 Lakhs defeating the EndBoss 2021 runner-up Dhiraj Lakhotia (runner-up for ₹1.76 Lakhs) heads-up.

Sunday’s BSS SuperStack winner ‘bencb789’ walked away with PokerBaazi’s The Pride title for the second time this year for ₹2.48 Lakhs. Harsh Dembla finished runner-up for ₹1.74 Lakhs.

Monday’s ReCharge & Tuesday’s Mega Stack runner-up Gopal Bajaj championed PokerStars India’s Night on Stars for ₹1.01 Lakhs, while Amit Kaushik finished runner-up for ₹77,611.

Akash Singhal, Saurav Bansal, Aryaman Arora, Hemang Shah, Hemant Meena, and Nitesh Mallanar were the day’s other winners.

Spartan Poker’s Wednesday flagship, the ₹19 Lakhs GTD Destiny (IOPC Bubble), logged in a guarantee-surpassing 419 entries, collecting ₹20.95 Lakhs in the prize pool. The former The Millionaire champion Anmol ‘geeegeee’ Narang clinched his sixth title of the year in the event for ₹4.65 Lakhs. Narang also became the fourth player to book a seat in the Destiny 22.0 SnG Finale set for February 13, 2022 (9 PM). A heads-up deal saw MTT pro Shravan ‘D.Trump04’ Chhabria securing a runner-up payday worth ₹4.36 Lakhs.

Anmol Narang’s online stats: Lifetime Winnings: ₹73.31 Lakhs | Lifetime Profits: ₹17.12 Lakhs

Spartan Poker user ‘ranksster’ was eliminated in 41st place as the money bubble and received a ticket worth ₹5,500 for the ₹50 Lakhs GTD IOPC #42 Wednesday Prime scheduled on January 26 (8 PM).

Spartan Poker’s second Wednesday marquee, ₹5 Lakhs GTD Wednesday Vibes (IOPC FT), attracted 397 entries to collect ₹5.38 Lakhs in the prize pool. A three-way chop saw ‘BustedFish’ walking away with the title for ₹95,104. ‘Rahul4444s’ (2nd for ₹85,526) and ‘kingdavid88’ (3rd for ₹70,192) rounded out the podium place scores. The top three finishers also received a ticket each for the ₹12 Lakhs GTD IOPC #1 Launch party scheduled on January 20 (1 PM).

‘BustedFish’s Spartan Poker stats: Site Winnings: ₹8.95 Lakhs | Site Profits: ₹2.47 Lakhs

‘Geniusinmaking’ (Won Monster Stack ₹2.50 Lakhs GTD for ₹54,793), ‘Tarzanakh’ (Won Night Rider Monster Stack ₹2.10 Lakhs GTD for ₹47,811), and ‘Thenewpokerkid’ (Won The Centurion ₹50K GTD for ₹11,068) won the other Wednesday marquees on Spartan Poker.

PokerBaazi’s Wednesday MTT schedule, as usual, was spearheaded by the ₹10 Lakhs GTD The Pride. Sporting a ₹3,850 buy-in, the event logged in a 321-entry field, collecting ₹11.24 Lakhs in the prize pool. After almost seven hours of MTT action, Sunday’s BSS SuperStack winner ‘bencb789’ (anonymity requested) walked away with The Pride title for the second time this year for ₹2.48 Lakhs. On June 9, they had won The Pride title for the first time for ₹2.69 Lakhs. Harsh ‘100crdream’ Dembla finished runner-up for ₹1.74 Lakhs.

‘bencb789’s PokerBaazi stats: Site Winnings: ₹54.98 Lakhs | Site Profits: ₹15.40 Lakhs

Shawn ‘achayan’ Jose crossed the money line in three events, including two FT finishes, earning a collective ₹97,410.

The champion ‘param4pnj’ boosted their lifetime earnings on PokerBaazi to ₹1.80 Lakhs.

PokerStars India’s ₹5 Lakhs GTD Night on Stars registered 178 entries, overlaying ₹55,000. Gopal ‘MrBigSlick139’ Bajaj missed out on clinching the titles on a back-to-back in Monday’s ReCharge and Tuesday’s Mega Stack. Finally, Bajaj ended his runner-up streak on Wednesday by claiming his career-second Night on Stars title for ₹1.01 Lakhs while Amit ‘Stu Ungar 7694’ Kaushik finished runner-up for ₹77,611.

The ₹1.5 Lakhs GTD Big Bubble Rush attracted 148 entrants, suffering a negligible ₹2,000 deficit. The anonymous user ‘be_desi’ took down the tourney for ₹36,096 (includes ₹21,562 in bounties), while Mayank ‘HarryIsTheHero’ Sharma came in second for ₹20,909 (includes ₹6,375 in bounties).

The biggest guarantee event on Adda52 last night, the ₹10 Lakhs GTD Wipeout, pulled in 437 challengers who coughed up the ₹2,999 buy-in. The top 25 places received a share of the ₹11.92 Lakhs prize pool. The three-time The Millionaire champion Young Gun Anuj ‘anuj25395’ Yadav championed the event for ₹3.10 Lakhs defeating the EndBoss 2021 runner-up Dhiraj ‘supernuts’ Lakhotia (runner-up for ₹1.76 Lakhs) in the heads-up clash.

Akash ‘Hell12’ Singhal raced past the competition to take away the top prize worth ₹85,606. Harry ‘harrys111’ Singh placed second for ₹50,996.
