Monday brought back the regular flagships alongside Day 2 of the series-ending ₹1 Crore GTD INCOOP Main Event on PokerStars India. Here`s a quick recap.
Spartan Poker
The ₹10 Lakhs GTD ReCharge was once again the featured tourney on Spartan Poker’s Monday schedule. The tourney garnered a 497-entry field to fall three buy-ins short of the posted guarantee. After nearly seven hours on the felts, it was Kunal ‘TiltAtma’ Patni and ‘SpewMonkey’ squaring off over the title. The duo eventually shook hands on a deal that saw the latter claim the bragging rights for ₹1.79 Lakhs.
Patni added a runner-up finish worth ₹1.53 Lakhs to his poker resume, touching ₹2.96 Crores in recorded winnings.
Some of the noted regs on the nine-max FT included Saurabh ‘darksider’ Rohila (4th for ₹78,700), Hitesh ‘hitesh bhai’ Batra (5th for ₹61,700), and Sumit ‘Sands Myth’ Sapra (9th for ₹20,900).
Rohila`s breakout run last night saw him final table two other tourneys. He placed fourth in the ₹1,100 entry buy-in Flash for ₹45,060 while taking fifth place in PokerBaazi’s The Bout for ₹54,324 to collect over ₹1.78 Lakhs overall.
The ₹6 Lakhs Flash registered a shortfall of ₹43,000 on its guarantee after 557 hopefuls signed up to play. ‘LEd- ZeppELiN’ grabbed the top spot on the podium to win ₹95,803 following a heads-up deal with ‘Smooth Criminal’ (runner-up for ₹87,735).
