The final weekend of August kicked off in grand fashion and headlining the Friday action was Spartan Poker’s The Elite. Following through on his two runner-up finishes the day before, Young Gun Anuj Yadav shipped The Elite title for the second time last night for ₹6.64 Lakhs. This week`s WPT Tuesday Feature champion, Young Gun Sahil Chutani, finished runner-up for ₹4.48 Lakhs.
The Adda52-hosted WPT Online India Series is on its last legs. The biggest guaranteed event to crown a champion on Day 27 was the WPT Friday Feature. Online phenom Harsh Dembla shipped the event for ₹6.60 Lakhs, while the former Millionaire champion Rohan Bhasin came second for ₹3.90 Lakhs.
PokerBaazi’s Friday extravaganza, The Weekly HighRoller, was taken down by Dhinesh Kumar for ₹4.14 Lakhs.
Spartan Poker`s OFC Fantasy Series was another attraction that commenced proceedings on Friday. Siddarth Singhvi won the featured event on Day 1 of the three-day series, the OFC Fantasy Series #3 – High Roller for ₹2.52 Lakhs.
Devrat Singh bested the #1 ranked player of the year, Young Gun Gaurav Sood, heads-up to win the WPT PLO Bounty for ₹2.38 Lakhs.

Spartan Poker`s Friday schedule packed quite the punch and running alongside Day 1B of the ₹1 Crore GTD The Millionaire was the ₹30 Lakhs GTD The Elite. The ₹11,000 entry buy-in event registered 297 entries, falling just three entries or ₹30,000 short of its 300-player guarantee. After raking in two runner-up scores on Thursday, the IOPC leaderboard crusher Young Gun Anuj ‘tittooTauji’ Yadav championed The Elite to bank the single-largest score of the day worth ₹6.64 Lakhs. Young Gun Sahil ‘$lim$hady19’ Chutani placed runner-up for ₹4.48 Lakhs, improving his lifetime MTT tally to ₹2.96 Crores (₹1.36 Crores in net profits).
The former The Millionaire Legends champion, Anuj Yadav, had won the Elite for the first time last November for ₹7.59 Lakhs, making this his second time shipping the Friday flagship.
The site’s Friday value offering, the ₹9.50 Lakhs Futuristic, has always been a crowd-puller, and yesterday was no different. Spartan Poker’s last The Millionaire edition of August played out its second starting flight last night. Day 1B of the ₹1 Crore GTD event logged in 301 hopefuls, and only 40 could bag a stack for Day 2. Deepesh ‘prince1993’ Raka (273,445), Anirban ‘pokernoob’ Das (209,321), and Manish ‘thekid’ Lakhotia (168,687) topped the survivor’s list.
The multi-flight The Millionaire has filled in 636 entries (Day 1A – 335 entries, Day 1B – 301 entries) and has another three starting flights to run before Day 2 on Sunday (10 PM).
The three-day-long OFC Fantasy Series completed Day 1 on Friday, crowning three champions. The biggest of them, the ₹8 Lakhs GTD OFC Fantasy Series #3 – High Roller, saw the former Millionaire Legends runner-up Siddarth ‘PeterPunter’ Singhvi winning his first OFC title on the site for ₹2.52 Lakhs. This win improved his lifetime winnings tally to ₹5.88 Crores with ₹2.20 Crores in profits.

After more than eight hours of action, Dhinesh ‘dhineshrocky007’ Kumar raced past the competition to collect the ₹4.14 Lakhs up-top after defeating Sumit ‘boronyx’ Sapra (2nd for ₹2.90 Lakhs) in the heads-up play.

With just two days of scheduled events to run, Day 27 of the WPT Online India (WPTOI) had nine events on offer, and seven of them played down to a winner.
Online crusher Harsh ‘BuddhaBhikari’ Dembla clinched the trophy event of the day, the ₹20 Lakhs GTD WPT Friday Feature, to win his career-first WPT title. Dembla locked horns with former FTS Challenger winner Rohan ‘sailor85’ Bhasin (2nd for ₹3.90 Lakhs) heads-up and took home a winner’s paycheque worth ₹6.60 Lakhs.
The former Mega Suits winner, Harsh Dembla, also placed sixth in PokerBaazi’s Daily SPRINT (7-Max) for ₹24,542, raking in ₹6.84 Lakhs last night. His stats: Lifetime Winnings: ₹2.12 Crores | Lifetime Profit: ₹87.30 Lakhs
The former Full House Finale & Millionaire champion Devrat ‘Vickypune’ Singh added a WPT Online title to his tally as he topped a 231-entry field in the ₹5 Lakhs GTD WPT PLO Bounty to pocket the lion’s share of the ₹6.23 Lakhs prize pool worth ₹2.38 Lakhs (includes ₹67,541 in bounties). The winningest player in the country since 2020, Young Gun Gaurav ‘gauravarod’ Sood, finished runner-up for ₹1.06 Lakhs (includes ₹6,626 in bounties).
Considering the phenomenal form he is in, Gaurav Sood picked up two more deep runs last night, accumulating ₹1.25 Lakhs in Friday winnings. His other ITM finishes include:

With six starting flights now in the books, the WPT Main Event has registered 923 entries. Around 1,077 more entries are needed from the four remaining flights for the event to avoid filling in an overlay.
The ₹1 Crore GTD WPT Unreal ran Flight 28 from 7:30 PM to 11:21 PM. Only 178 runners from a starting field of 1,313 entrants made it through to Day 2. Rising Star Aman ‘karmapoker’ Parakh (628,726), ‘chirandh’ (602,413), and ‘Jfd1010’ (493,175) bagged the top stacks of the day. The ₹499 buy-in event has filled in 16,982 entries. With two more starting flights to run, roughly another 5,240 entries are needed for the event to hit its ambitious guarantee.

With Day 27 now in the books, Raghav ‘FuckedUpLife’ Siddalanga (1,216 points) is still the frontrunner in the WPT Mega Leaderboard standings. But as we get closer to the finale, PokerGuru Ambassadors Ashish ‘rocky3705’ Ahuja (1,211 points) and Ankit ‘d00mtr003r’ Wadhawan (1,171 points) are breathing down Siddalanga’s neck.

The bounty event had to fill in a substantial ₹2.08 Lakhs overlay shortfall after only 198 players registered to play. Thursday’s Highroller champion ‘asdfmrinal’ continued their hot run to prevail in the tourney, winning their second flagship title in two days. The player banked the top prize of ₹1.93 Lakhs (includes ₹88,813 in bounties). Avid poker streamer and Rising Star Ritwik ‘Fisherman1997’ Khanna finished runner-up for ₹1.46 Lakhs (includes ₹41,250 in bounties). The champion ‘asdfmrinal’ have grown their site cashes to ₹33.98 Lakhs.
The 23-year-old Ritwik Khanna ITM-ed two more events to collectively earn over ₹1.69 Lakhs, boosting his online bankroll by ₹3.21 Lakhs.
The ₹2 Lakhs GTD The Classic fared significantly better, with an entry-field of 132 players resulting in only a marginal overlay. ‘JC1870’ proved the last player standing and won ₹43,460 (includes ₹24,527 in bounties). Amit ‘Stu Ungar 7694’ Kaushik kept his scorecard ticking with a runner-up finish worth ₹28,232 (includes ₹9,299 in bounties). Kaushik now has ₹1.93 Crore in recorded online winnings.
