The overlay woes for poker operators seemed to have significantly subsided as Thursday brought an action-driven day of MTT action. PokerBaazi’s first-ever PLO Championship Series added firepower to the day’s proceedings, and the top regs led the charge.

Topping the Thursday charts was Adda52 reg Raghuvinder Singh. The old-timer hit a new career milestone last night, winning the day`s biggest guaranteed tournament, Adda52`s Godfather, for a site-best 6.12 Lakhs. The #3 ranked player of 2022, Arjanveer Singh Chadha fell one place short of winning the Thursday flagship for a fourth time, banking 3.63 Lakhs in second place (won 3.81 Lakhs overall).

The former IOPC Millionaire Main Event champion, Anurag Srivastava, ended a three-week title drought with a victory march in PokerStars India’s The Colosseum [6-Max] for 2.76 Lakhs (won 3.92 Lakhs overall).

The first-ever GOAT finalist Avish Sharma drove up the action on PokerBaazi with a scintillating run in The Summit, winning the Thursday tournament for the second time in over four years for 3.67 Lakhs (his best score of the year). The former The Millionaire champion Anmol Narang finished runner-up for 2.55 Lakhs (won 2.88 Lakhs).

TLB crusher Neeraj Kumar posted ten deep runs on Thursday for a total take-home worth 3.57 Lakhs and most notably championed Spartan Poker’s Ultron for 3.27 Lakhs (his fifth title of the year). He struck a three-way deal with Advait Rajguru (2nd for 3.04 Lakhs) and Gaurav Bhutra (3rd for 2.80 Lakhs).

The PC#1 (PLO-4) Kickoff winner Vikhyat Ahlawat has been quite the revelation in PokerBaazi’s ongoing PLO Championship. He pulled out another firecracker run yesterday, accumulating 3.03 Lakhs from five ITM finishes on the site, with top finishes in Daily Value Boost (1st for 1.46 Lakhs*), PC#30 (PLO-4) (2nd for 95,920), and PC#26 (PLO-5) (4th for 43,000).

Himanshu Dewan (Won PC#30 PLO-4 for 1.38 Lakhs), Aditya Pratap Singh (Won PC#27 PLO-6 KO 1.07 Lakhs), and ‘Carlton’ (Won PC#26 PLO-5 for 86,050) won the other PLO Championship tournaments on Thursday.
