As we head towards the weekend, things are steadily spicing up on the virtual felts. PokerGuru Ambassadors dominated the action again on Friday, winning two flagship titles alongside a litany of deep runs.

The day’s biggest guaranteed event to crown a champion, Spartan Poker’s The Elite, was taken down by PokerGuru Ambassador Arjanveer Singh Chadha! The Chandigarh-based pro struck a heads-up deal with ‘madhumangal’ (2nd for ₹5.08 Lakhs) to collect ₹5.30 Lakhs and his first-ever The Elite title.

Thursday’s Monster Turbo champion and the #2 ranked player of the year, Manish Lakhotia, championed Adda52’s The Ballers for ₹5 Lakhs following a heads-up deal with Vinayak Bajaj (2nd for ₹4.34 Lakhs)

Young Gun Sanat Mehrotra was in superb form last night. The IIT Kharagpur and IIM Ahmedabad alumni posted deep runs in Spartan Poker’s The Elite (4th for ₹2.35 Lakhs) and Adda52’s The Ballers (4th for ₹1.91 Lakhs), adding ₹4.26 Lakhs in cumulative winnings.

PokerGuru Ambassador Vishal Bajaj took down PokerStars India’s Super Highroller for ₹3.58 Lakhs. The ₹15 Lakhs GTD event made its inaugural run last night as a part of the site`s ‘Tournament Festival‘ promotion.

Hemant Meena, Rahul Sengar, Surbhit Grover, and Pratik Kayal shipped the other marquees events.

PokerGuru Ambassador Arjanveer ‘bazzingaa’ Singh Chadha might have missed out on winning the Trending Thursday title the day before, settling for a runner-up finish. But he more than made up for it by dominating the Friday action. The Young Gun topped a 280-entry field in Spartan Poker’s ₹25 Lakhs GTD The Elite, banking the lion’s share of the ₹28 Lakhs prize pool worth ₹5.30 Lakhs. A heads-up deal saw ‘madhumangal’ netting ₹5.08 Lakhs for their runner-up finish.

Not only was this win Chadha’s first title of the month, but it was also the first time the Chandigarh-based pro shipped The Elite. His online stats: Lifetime Winnings:

The mystery user ‘Felix Felicis’ overcame them all to collect a personal-best ₹1.56 Lakhs. Tanmaya ‘RTD27’ Gupta placed runner-up for ₹1.22 Lakhs, following a heads-up deal with Gupta. The champion now has ₹5.60 Lakhs in recorded winnings on Spartan Poker and boasts of ₹2.01 Lakhs in site profits.

‘1levelup’ (Won Monster Stack ₹2.50 Lakhs GTD for ₹54,865) and ‘IPF_POKER’ (Won Night Rider – Monster Stack ₹2 Lakhs GTD for ₹52,983) took down the other Friday marquees on Spartan Poker.

The much-awaited ₹5 Crore GTD EndBoss is just two days away from naming a champion. The event hosted its third starting flight, Day 1C, yesterday. After a relatively slow Day 1A (779 entries) and Day 1B (877 entries), Day 1C did not fare much better, pulling in 858 entries (595 unique and 263 re-entries). After tallying the entry counts of the first three starting flights, the EndBoss has logged in a total of 2,514 entries combined and needs to bring in another 2,486 entries in the last two flights to match up to its 5,000-entry guarantee. So far, 374 players have secured a seat for Day 2.

Coming to the Day 1C action, only 105 survived through to Day 2, and Ajay ‘meluvah’ Rawat (499,000) emerged as the end-of-day chip leader. ‘NathanDrake’ (489,000) and ‘Actaeon6079’ (426,000) round out the top three stacks of the day.

PokerStars India embarked upon a 10-week long ‘Tournament Festival’ on October 18, and one of the new MTTs to be run by the site was the Friday feature, the ₹15 Lakhs GTD Super Highroller. The tournament clocked in 89 entries, filling in ₹4.32 Lakhs in overlays. The former Millionaire champion PokerGuru Ambassador Vishal ‘Vishalb22’ Bajaj cut his way across the competition to bag his first title in almost a month, netting ₹3.58 Lakhs. ‘aakhrijanam’ finished runner-up for ₹2.76 Lakhs.

After last night`s score, Vishal Bajaj, currently ranked 10th on the annual leaderboard, crossed ₹4.60 Crores in online earnings.

The user ‘rachit9786’ was the other standout winner on PokerStars India. They took down the ₹2.25 Lakhs GTD Uppercut Mini for ₹40,156 (includes ₹20,078 in bounties), denying former IOPC – The Millionaire champion Anurag ‘GutshotHaiBro’ Srivastava in the heads-up showdown.

It took a tad over eight hours for the DOPT Main Event runner-up finisher Manish ‘newkidpoker’ Lakhotia to get the job done and bagged his first-ever The Ballers title and a ₹5 Lakhs payday. He chopped the title heads-up with Vinayak ‘bhai_on_mary_jane’ Bajaj (2nd for ₹4.34 Lakhs).

PokerStars India has upped the ante by rolling out the “Tournament Festival” – guaranteeing over ₹20 Crores across its 10-week run from October 18 to December 26.

Part of the promotion are new tournaments, and one of them, the ₹15 Lakhs GTD Super Highroller, made its inaugural run on PokerStars India last night. The ₹12,000 buy-in event commenced at 8.12 PM and filled in 89 seats by the time the late registrations ended, overlaying ₹4.32 Lakhs.

The play culminated short of 3 AM, with PokerGuru Ambassador Vishal ‘Vishalb22’ Bajaj walking away with the title and the ₹3.58 Lakhs up-top after defeating ‘aakhrijanam’ (2nd for ₹2.76 Lakhs) in heads-up play.

Vishal Bajaj has been in impeccable form in the last six months, and his track record, especially in high roller tournaments, is outstanding. However, this happens to be his first title victory in almost a month. His last standout score before this dates back to October 1, where he finished runner-up in Spartan Poker`s The Elite for ₹4.03 Lakhs.
