The festive spirit is in the air. But it was business as usual for poker players, with the online platforms hosting their respective weekly flagships.

The #5 ranked player of the year, PokerGuru Ambassador Arjanveer Singh Chadha, topped the Wednesday charts on the back of his victory run in Spartan Poker’s Destiny for ₹5.03 Lakhs. The former Destiny winner Paras Jain missed out on a second title, finishing runner-up for ₹3.13 Lakhs.

Adda52 user ‘rj147’ (anonymity requested) shipped the Maverick for the second time last night for 3.09 Lakhs. They chopped the title heads-up with Sunday`s SOL Patni Millionaire winner Harsh Bubna (2nd for 3.02 Lakhs).

Raghav Singh Chauhan won PokerBaazi’s The Pride for a site-best ₹2.43 Lakhs, with kkthewarior finishing runner-up for ₹1.70 Lakhs.

Aniket Jain came out on top in Spartan Poker’s Wednesday Vibes to collect a career-best ₹1.11 Lakhs. He struck a heads-up deal with Tuesday’s Uppercut Mini champion Pradip Ghosh (2nd for ₹94,165)

Following through on his breakout Tuesday run, Rising Star Aman Parakh took down Adda52s La Luna for 1.09 Lakhs after beating Karan Radia (2nd for 64,821) in heads-up play.

Nikhil Kashyap, Anuj Laddhad, Raman Arora, Abhineet Singla, Karan Malhotra, and Sandeep Varma were the other prominent winners.

Spartan Poker’s ₹5,500 entry buy-in Destiny logged in 335 entries, falling ₹2.25 Lakhs short of its advertised ₹19 Lakhs guarantee. After seven hours of play, PokerGuru Ambassador Arjanveer ‘bazzingaa’ Singh Chadha came out on top to win ₹5.03 Lakhs, also becoming the third player to book a set in the Destiny 22.0 SnG Finale set for February 13, 2022 (9 PM). The former SSS Ultron winner Paras ‘AAKKQQJJ’ Jain stood second for ₹3.13 Lakhs.

Spartan Poker’s second Wednesday marquee, ₹5 Lakhs GTD Wednesday Vibes, did relatively well as a 387-entry field made helped collect ₹5.80 Lakhs in the prize pool. After almost seven hours of gameplay, Aniket ‘breakingbread93’ Jain walked away with the title and a career-best ₹1.11 Lakhs. He chopped the top prize heads-up with Tuesday’s Uppercut Mini winner Pradip ‘Nit2Donk’ Ghosh (2nd for ₹94,165).

Aniket Jain’s online stats: Lifetime Winnings: ₹3.60 Lakhs | Lifetime Profits: ₹1.44 Lakhs

Nikhil ‘killerOP’ Kashyap (Won Monster Stack ₹2.50 Lakhs GTD for ₹59,389) and Anuj ‘Anuj16101’ Laddhad (Won Night Rider Deepstack ₹2 Lakhs GTD for ₹48,825) won the other Wednesday marquees on Spartan Poker.

PokerBaazi`s featured Wednesday event, ₹10 Lakhs GTD The Pride, registered a guarantee-crushing 314-player field, and the top 36 places got a share from the 10.99 Lakhs prize pool. Raghav raghav14082‘ Singh Chauhan topped the ₹3,850 buy-in event for a personal-best (on PokerBaazi) ₹2.43 Lakhs payday. The user kkthewarior placed runner-up for ₹1.70 Lakhs.

Before last night, Raghav Chauhan was sitting on ₹84,341 in site losses, but his Wednesday score has pushed him in the green for ₹1.54 Lakhs.

The ₹1.50 Lakhs GTD Holdem BOOST brought in 289 contenders who signed up for ₹1,100, and the top 36 places got a cut from the ₹2.89 Lakhs prize pool. PokerStars India’s Wednesday headliner, ₹5 Lakhs GTD Night on Stars, had 205 hopefuls signing up for ₹2,750, and only the top 26 places got a share from the ₹5.12 Lakhs prize pool. After posting three top-three finishes in the Night on Stars earlier in the year (including a second-place finish on December 1), Mayank ‘riverrshiverr’ Maruka finally went the distance last night as he won the Wednesday marquee for ₹1 Lakhs. Abhishek ‘abhiaum’ Chhajer came second for ₹76,539.

The top 55 places collected a payday but walking away with the lion`s share of the prize money was ‘rj147’ (anonymity requested), who won the Maverick for the second time yesterday for 3.09 Lakhs, ending an over five-month-long dry spell. He chopped the title heads-up with none other than Sunday`s SOL Patni Millionaire champion Harsh ‘harsh1327’ Bubna (2nd for 3.02 Lakhs).

The 4 Lakhs GTD La Luna saw Rising Star Aman ‘karmapoker’ Parakh outlasting the 255-player field to collect the 1.09 Lakhs up-top. Young Gun Karan ‘Reg_Slayer’ Radia placed runner-up for 64,821.

Tuesday`s breakout winner, Aman Parakh, banked an impressive 1.25 Lakhs across five ITM finishes, boosting his lifetime tally to 3.55 Crores.
