It was an adrenaline-charged start to the week for online MTT players, breaking away from the usual Monday monotony that we`ve become accustomed to reporting! And a large part of the credit goes to the two headline MTT stops that drove the Monday blues away.

Spartan Poker’s biggest-ever IOPC June 2022 is now on its sixth day running, while PokerBaazi’s 1100 THC has entered its second week. The second edition of PokerStars India’s Summer Series took a scheduled day-long break yesterday.

The Spartan Poker user ‘Moonshot17’ made the Monday headlines as they won the day`s biggest draw, Spartan Poker’s IOPC #35 – Monday Prime, for ₹5.58 Lakhs. The user also FT-ed IOPC #34 (8th for ₹17,204), lapping up over ₹5.75 Lakhs across their Monday run on the site.

Last week`s Friday Bounty champion Young Gun Arsh Grover, was the other standout winner yesterday. He scored the winning touchdown in the other IOPC flagship, IOPC #36 – Monday Spotlight, bagging his career-second IOPC title and ₹3.35 Lakhs in prize money.

Guddu Chaudhary made quite the impression on PokerBaazi for his victory march in the site`s Monday headliner, The Big Show! He won the title for ₹2.30 Lakhs (his second-best career finish) – ending an extended title drought. Ashit Sharma finished runner-up in two PokerBaazi flagships for ₹2.69 Lakhs (overall), including The Big Show, in which he cashed ₹1.61 Lakhs.

Fitness coach and poker pro Gautam Rohilla shipped THC#33 Megastack for ₹2.30 Lakhs.

One of the top-ranked players in the annual TLB (points) standings, Kunal Yadav, took down Adda52`s Iron Man for ₹1.61 Lakhs following a heads-up deal with Harsh Dembla (2nd for ₹1.59 Lakhs).

Gopal Bajaj (Won IOPC #34 ₹8.50 Lakhs GTD for ₹1.65 Lakhs), Areyann Gurbaxani (Won IOPC #32 8 Lakhs GTD for 1.27 Lakhs), Sanchit Nag (Won IOPC #33 ₹4.50 Lakhs GTD for ₹91,681), and Ankur Aryan (Won IOPC #31 ₹4.75 Lakhs GTD for ₹80,556) added IOPC titles on Monday.

Dishani Vijay (Won THC#35 ₹8 Lakhs GTD for ₹1.35 Lakhs), Ishaan Pandya (Won THC#34 PKO ₹6 Lakhs GTD for ₹1.14 Lakhs), and Devbrat Rout (Won THC#32 Hyper-Turbo ₹6 Lakhs GTD for ₹1.06 Lakhs) won the other THC titles on Day 7 of the series.

PokerStars India reg Vaibhav Bhatia won the Battle Royale title for the third time last night for ₹88,281, with Mandar Madaye picking a runner-up payday of ₹47,412.

The former IOPC – The Crown champion, PokerGuru Ambassador Laksh Pal ‘LuckyBhai$’ Singh (290,207), topped the day-end chip counts with his PokerGuru Staking teammate Ankit ‘Shippament’ Wadhawan (217,086), carrying forward the second-biggest stack.

The IOPC Wanderer will be running starting flights all week long, with Day 2 to commence on Sunday, June 12, at 10 PM.
