Spartan Poker`s bi-weekly 35 Lakhs GTD The Big Deal made for an action-packed Monday. The majority of the day`s other flagships also crushed their listed guarantees.

Young Gun Arsh Grover and PokerGuru Ambassador Shashank Desai were the standout winners last night. After keeping a relatively low profile these last few weeks, Grover bounced back with a bang as he took down The Big Deal for the second time, netting ₹9.06 Lakhs. Another runner-up finish in PokerBaazi’s Big Show for ₹1.21 Lakhs fetched him seven figures in total winnings.

PokerGuru Ambassador Shashank Desai was another mover and shaker as he championed both the Adda52 Monday marquees. He won the Iron Man for ₹2.15 Lakhs and followed that up by shipping the Voyager for ₹88,500. He also took third place in PokerBaazi`s The Big Show, lapping up ₹3.81 in total winnings.

Two other players shipped two tourney titles each. Jaya Bharathkumar Prajapati had an eventful run on Spartan Poker, winning The Night Rider – Monster Stack for ₹54,442 and the Monster Stack for ₹47,875.

Swapnil Patil went on a rampage on PokerStars India, shipping the Deepstack for ₹38,492 and the Ultrasonic for a record 12th time for ₹29,560.

Young Gun Sanat Mehrotra, Anmoj Singh Chawla, Kunal Chaudhary, and Aditya Kulkarni came out on top in the other Monday marquees.

Lighting up the Monday MTT schedule on Spartan Poker was the site`s bi-weekly ₹35 Lakhs GTD Big Deal. The ₹22,000 entry buy-in Highroller tourney, part of the Daily Poker Marathon, ran from 8 PM to 3:10 AM with a field of 180 entries collecting a prize pool worth ₹36 Lakhs. Young Gun Arsh ‘BigggTymeR’ Grover shipped the tourney for the second time in under a month for ₹9.06 Lakhs. Siddarth ‘PeterPunter’ Singhvi finished runner-up for ₹6.12 Lakhs, boosting his lifetime tally to ₹5.14 Crores (₹1.48 Crores in net profits).

The #2 ranked player on the 2020 yearly leaderboard, Arsh Grover, had won The Big Deal for the first time on March 22 for ₹8.68 Lakhs. Grover was in the hunt for a second title in PokerBaazi’s The Big Show and eventually placed runner-up for ₹1.21 Lakhs. With ₹10.27 Lakhs in cumulative winnings, he was the day`s biggest winner.

Grover is ranked #6 in the 2021 annual leaderboard standings with close to ₹1.16 Crores in yearly scores and sits at #4 on the profits leaderboard with over ₹60.53 Lakhs in yearly profits. His lifetime MTT tally stands tall at ₹7.56 Crores (₹3.56 Crores in net profits).

The other Monday marquee, the ₹4.50 Lakhs GTD The Flash, wrangled in 622 entries, posting a guarantee-crushing ₹6.60 Lakhs prize pool. Kunal ‘Charsilaladka’ Chaudhary shipped the tourney for ₹1.01 Lakhs after striking a heads-up deal with ‘TheMeisTeR’ (runner-up for ₹94,898). Chaudhary’s lifetime tally has touched ₹31.54 Lakhs after last night`s win, with ₹4.23 Lakhs in net profits.

Jaya Bharathkumar ‘denb’ Prajapati took down two events on the site. He won the ₹2.75 Lakhs GTD Night Rider – Monster Stack for ₹54,442 and the ₹3 Lakhs GTD Monster Stack for ₹47,875, adding ₹1.02 Lakhs to his bankroll.

PokerStars India’s ₹5 Lakhs GTD Battle Royale locked in 156 entries on Monday, overlaying ₹1.10 Lakhs. Site-reg Anmolraj ‘modi chai wala’ Singh Chawla championed the event for the second time, banking ₹1.19 Lakhs (₹64,180 in bounties). Sandeep ‘SANDYINC.’ Rajora came in second for ₹57,994 (₹3,125 in bounties).

Chawla had previously won the Battle Royale on February 11 for ₹1.16 Lakhs. He now has ₹33.17 Lakhs in recorded winnings on PokerStars India, with ₹16.91 Lakhs in net profits.

The ₹1.5 Lakhs GTD Deepstack saw Swapnil ‘pokpom1’ Patil navigating his way to the top to win ₹38,492 (₹21,855 in bounties), after defeating ‘sumitm74’ (runner-up for ₹31,773) (₹15,137 in bounties) in the heads-up play. Later in the night, Patil took down the ₹1.5 Lakhs GTD Ultrasonic for a record-extending 12th time for ₹29,560. With ₹68,052 in total winnings on the site, Patil`s lifetime tally has touched ₹45.4 Lakhs (₹5.31 Lakhs in net profits).

PokerBaazi’s Monday night extravaganza, the ₹7.5 Lakhs GTD The Big Show, registered a guarantee-smashing 312 entries. Young Gun Sanat ‘mehro2511’ Mehrotra was the last player standing and collected ₹1.72 Lakhs – his second time winning The Big Show this year. The Big Deal champion Arsh ‘Button_Hai_Bro’ Grover missed out on a second title, placing runner-up for ₹1.21 Lakhs.

Adda52`s ₹8 Lakhs GTD Iron Man clocked in 482 entries, collecting ₹8.77 Lakhs in the prize pool. After a little under six and a half hours of play, PokerGuru Ambassador Shashank ‘IndianRat’ Desai outlasted the competition to win ₹2.15 Lakhs, with the former Full House winner Devrat ‘vickypune’ Singh placing runner-up for ₹1.27 Lakhs.

Shashank Desai went on a rampage on Adda52 last night as he took down the other marquee tourney on the site as well, the ₹2.75 Lakhs GTD Voyager. He won ₹88,500 after outlasting a player field of 354 entries. The mystery reg ‘DEEZII’ finished runner-up for ₹53,631.

Desai also placed third in PokerBaazi’s The Big Show for ₹77,766, adding over ₹3.81 Lakhs through the day. The PokerGuru Staking member currents boasts ₹2.6 Crores in lifetime winnings.

Spartan Poker’s ₹35 Lakhs GTD The Big Deal was, by and far, the biggest guaranteed tourney running last night. The 8 PM Highroller event logged in 180 entries, registering a profitable ₹36 Lakhs prize pool.

After over seven hours of play, making his way to the top was Young Gun Arsh ‘BigggTymeR’ Grover. The Delhi-based MTT pro banked a hefty ₹9.06 Lakhs winner`s payday after eliminating Siddarth ‘PeterPunter’ Singhvi (runner-up for ₹6.12 Lakhs) in second place.

This is the second time Grover shipped The Big Deal in under a month. He had previously championed the event on March 22 for ₹8.68 Lakhs. Grover has been missing from the virtual felts since his birthday earlier this month, but he came out all guns blazing last night. The MTT pro, currently in Goa, came within touching distance of winning PokerBaazi’s The Big Show as well, eventually placing runner-up for ₹1.20 Lakhs. Two impressive finishes earned him a seven-figure score of ₹10.25 Lakhs, boosting his lifetime scorecard to ₹7.56 Crore.

A quick look at Arsh Grover’s online stats shows that he has already worked up ₹3.56 Crores in lifetime profits and ₹1.16 Crores in recorded winnings in 2021.
