It was a busy Wednesday with the top regs stealing the show. The PokerGuru Ambassadors had a field day last night, winning two flagship titles alongside a string of deep runs.

Ashish Ahuja was hands down the star of the day. The Chandigarh-based pro championed Spartan Poker’s Destiny for the second time last night for ₹6.61 Lakhs, climbing up to #3 on the annual leaderboard rankings. Gokul Raj was the other PokerGuru Ambassador who won a flagship title, taking down PokerBaazi’s The Pride for ₹2.32 Lakhs.

The February Millionaire champion Alok Birewar, Siddharth Pandey, and PokerStars India`s “Star of the Month” – February Armaan Kochhar championed the other flagship titles.

Spartan Poker

Spartan Poker`s Destiny 19.0 series found its second champion yesterday. The ₹23 Lakhs GTD ₹5,500 entry buy-in tourney pulled in 499 participants, crushing its advertised guarantee by a comfortable ₹1.95 Lakh margin. One of the top-ranked players in the country today, PokerGuru Ambassador Ashish ‘Spewushhhiiiii’ Ahuja, championed the tourney for the second time last night, winning ₹6.61 Lakhs. The Chandigarh-based pro Ahuja had previously won the Destiny title in September 2019 for ₹6.03 Lakhs. Ahuja has booked himself a seat in the Destiny 19.0 SnG Finale set for June 13 (9 PM) with this win. Ishaan ‘potripper16’ Bhatia placed runner-up for a personal-best ₹4.12 Lakhs.

This happens to be Ahuja’s second title victory in the last seven days. He had won the Elite on April 2 for ₹6.20 Lakhs. The Destiny score has pushed him up two places to #3 in the annual leaderboard standings, and he sits a close distance behind Arjanveer Singh Chadha with over ₹1.15 Crores in yearly earnings. Ahuja now has ₹7.59 Crores in lifetime scores (₹2.79 Crores in net profits).

The second Wednesday marquee running as part of Spartan Poker`s Daily Poker Marathon, the ₹5.5 Lakhs GTD Wednesday Vibes logged in 485 entries to collect a profitable ₹7.28 Lakhs in prize money. The user ‘MALLI0035’ came out on top to win a site-best ₹1.42 Lakhs, while the 2021 DPT Xpress ₹5K Burn N Turn champion, Shrey ‘Kingsb30’ Baj, finished runner-up for ₹90,065. For Baj, this was his second consecutive week taking second place in the Wednesday Vibes.

PokerStars India’s ₹5 Lakhs GTD Night on Stars pulled in 306 challengers, accumulating ₹5.43 Lakhs in the prize pool. After seven hours and twenty-four minutes of intense action, site-reg ‘Clinton Tavares’ shipped the tourney for ₹1 Lakh (₹55,528 in bounties). Chandan ‘RunBarryRun’ Arora finished runner-up for ₹49,255) (includes ₹4,546 in bounties).

Chandan Arora also placed fourth in Adda52’s La Luna for ₹34,711, netting ₹95,905 overall. His lifetime tally has crossed ₹3.3 Crores.

Like the Night on Stars, even the ₹1.75 Lakhs GTD Big Bubble Rush collected a guarantee-surpassing ₹1.93 Lakhs after 193 runners signed up for ₹1,100. The 9:30 PM tourney ended at 2:15 AM today, with the “Star of the Month” – February Armaan ‘armaan007111’ Kochhar shipping the tourney for the second time, netting ₹47,924 (includes ₹30,875 in bounties) for the win. PokerBaazi’s Wednesday special, The Pride, registered 300 entries, surpassing its listed ₹10 Lakhs prize pool guarantee by ₹50,000. PokerGuru Ambassador Gokul ‘Nygma’ Raj shipped the tourney for ₹2.32 Lakhs, ending an over 10 week-long title drought. Parth ‘VINAY7690’ Aggarwal placed runner-up for ₹1.63 Lakhs.

The user ‘raosantosh’ outlasted a 218-entry field in the ₹1.5 Lakh GTD Holdem BOOST to win ₹51,295. ‘Pokemoon’ placed runner-up for ₹35,992.



Adda52`s ₹15 Lakhs GTD Maverick wrangled in 734 entries, accumulating ₹16.70 Lakhs in the prize pool. The top 82 places got paid, with the February Millionaire champion Alok ‘apb1989’ Birewar walking away with the lion`s share of the prize money worth ₹4.17 Lakhs. Vinod ‘jamesoo7’ Bhasker finished runner-up for ₹2.25 Lakhs. Birewar now boasts ₹2.74 Crores in lifetime online winnings.

Even the ₹4 Lakhs GTD La Luna pulled in a guarantee-busting field of 249 runners. Siddharth ‘gabandheer’ Pandey was the last player standing and won ₹1.06 Lakhs after beating the mystery reg ‘Krifard’ (runner-up for ₹63,296) in heads-up play. This was the second time Pandey has won the event, pushing his lifetime tally to ₹2.62 Crores.

Spartan Poker’s signature Wednesday tourney, the ₹23 Lakhs GTD Destiny, piled in an impressive 499 entries last night, handing out ₹24.95 Lakhs in cash prizes – the most massive prize pool across all the MTTs held yesterday.

PokerGuru Ambassador Ashish ‘Spewushhhiiiii’ Ahuja stormed his way to the finish line to win the Destiny title for a second time for ₹6.61 Lakhs. Ishaan ‘potripper16’ Bhatia finished runner-up for ₹4.12 Lakhs.

Ashish Ahuja was the third-biggest winner last year, and he has climbed back up to #3 on the annual leaderboard after last night`s run. In fact, this is his second flagship title on Spartan Poker in under a week. Last Friday, he had championed The Elite for ₹6.19 Lakhs.

Ahuja currently sits on ₹1.15 Crore in annual earnings and has surpassed ₹7.59 Crore in lifetime winnings.

PokerGuru Ambassadors came out all guns blazing last night with four players from the team posting a top-10 finish in the Destiny. Arjanveer Singh ‘bazzingaa’ Chadha (3rd for ₹2.49 Lakhs) and Vivek ‘KasolHieghts’ Singh (4th for ₹1.57 Lakhs) were the other members of PokerGuru Staking who FT-ed the tourney.

Aditya ‘ukid767’ Singh (3rd for ₹14,623) and Akshay ‘ak7208’ Panwar (7th for ₹8,980) also FT-ed the tourney.
