Tuesday witnessed a significant uptick of action over the slow Monday, and the winner’s list featured a healthy mix of regs and relatively lesser-known names.

Ashish Kaushik emerged as one of the Tuesday chartbusters as he took down Spartan Poker’s Mega Stack (IOPC Bubble RE) for 3.02 Lakhs. Monday’s ReCharge runner-up finisher Gopal Bajaj missed out on the title yet again, finishing second for 1.92 Lakhs.

The Adda52 user ‘ash_9’ championed Mechanical Bull for a site-best 3.05 Lakhs. Vishal Ojha came second for 1.85 Lakhs.

Varen Chugh shipped PokerBaazi’s The Endeavour for a personal-best 2.13 Lakhs after satty-ing his way into the event for 385. He chopped the title three-way with ‘classic78’ (2nd for 1.81 Lakhs) and Mohak Kapoor (3rd for 1.76 Lakhs).

Sanket Banerjee came out on top in PokerStars India’s Bounty Builder HR to collect a paycheck of ₹2.25 Lakhs. Rising Star Pratibh Saluja finished runner-up for ₹1.40 Lakhs.

The FTS 2.0 Main Event champion Siddharth Karia won Spartan Poker’s The Race for 1.19 Lakhs. He ITM-ed two other events, banking over 1.59 Lakhs from his Tuesday run.

Haider Madraswala and Adarsh Subham dominated the other marquees.

Spartan Poker

Spartan Poker’s Tuesday run of tournaments was dominated by the 15 Lakhs GTD Mega Stack (IOPC Bubble RE. The 8 PM flagship had 516 hopefuls ponying up the 3,300 buy-in, and the top 47 places got a share from the 15.48 Lakhs prize pool. The play culminated at 4.01 AM with Ashish ‘Ataraxia’ Kaushik walking away with the title and the 3.02 Lakhs up-top. Making a runner-up finish for a second straight day, Gopal ‘TheRealG’ Bajaj collected 1.92 Lakhs.

For Ashish Kaushik, it was his second title of the month. On December 7, he won PokerBaazi`s The Big Show for 1.60 Lakhs. Tuesday’s win boosted Kaushik’s online scorecard to 98.10 Lakhs.

The three-time The Millionaire winner, Young Gun Anuj ‘tittooTauji’ Yadav, money-bubbled the event in 48th place to win a free ticket to the 32 Lakhs GTD IOPC #36 – Tuesday Prime. The event is slated for January 25 (8 PM).

The 5 Lakhs GTD The Race (IOPC FT) ran from 9.30 PM to 4.53 AM with 397 runners in the fray. The prize pool of 5.96 Lakhs was distributed among the top 39 finishers. Young Gun Siddharth ‘Ari Tribbiani’ Karia proved the last player standing and won 1.19 Lakhs, with ‘JokaGrinder‘ (anonymity requested) finishing runner-up for 79,380.

Siddhanth Karia ITM-ed two more events, adding over 1.59 Lakhs in the process.

His top finishes include:

> 1st in The Race (IOPC FT) for 1.19 Lakhs

> 5th in SPRINT for 27,556

> 30th in Mega Stack (IOPC Bubble) for 11,300

The top three finishers – including Ashutosh ‘trailblazera’ Kumar (3rd for 58,061) won a ticket each to IOPC #1 Launch Party for January 20.

‘Godfather10’ (Won Monster Stack 2.50 Lakhs GTD for 52,875), ‘Bonnie_’ (Won Night Rider – Deepstack 2 Lakhs GTD for 48,000), ‘HarishChand007’ (Won Epic 80K GTD for 21,000), and ‘pint2chem’ (Won The Centurion 50K GTD for 11,159) won the other Spartan Poker marquees!



PokerBaazi’s Wednesday showstopper, 12 Lakhs GTD The Endeavour, attracted 315 entries, falling 97,500 short of its advertised guarantee. After a little over seven hours of playing, Varen ‘Pokerrozer’ Chugh, who had satt-ied into the event for 385, went on to take down the title for a personal-best (on PokerBaazi) 2.13 Lakhs. He chopped the top prize three-way with ‘classic78’ (2nd for 1.81 Lakhs) and Mohak ‘Tiltin’ Kapoor (3rd for 1.76 Lakhs).

The user ‘Shubham123456789’ triumphed over a 242-strong field in the4 Lakhs GTD Daily Sprint 6-Max to collect 88,993. A three-way deal saw Haider ‘Haider’ Madraswala (2nd for 83,537) and ‘Dstar’ (3rd for 72,664) posting podium finishes.

The biggest draw on PokerStars India, 10 Lakhs GTD Bounty Builder HR, clocked in 128 entrants who signed up for 7,700 to leave an overlay deficit of 1.04 Lakhs, and the top 13 places got paid. The former The Mint champion Sanket ‘superjericho300’ Banerjee shipped the event for 2.25 Lakhs, with Rising Star Pratibh ‘Pratibh Saluja’ Saluja placing runner-up for 1.40 Lakhs.

Pratibh Saluja went on a rampage last night and cashed five events for over 1.73 Lakhs in total earnings. His online stats: Lifetime Winnings: 1.90 Crores | Lifetime Profits: 63.39 Lakhs

The 2 Lakhs GTD Uppercut Mini saw 155 entrants signing up for 1,375, registering a marginal 6,250 overlay shortfall. The user ‘bunny0900’ raced past the competition to win the title for 50,024 after beating ‘flight922’ (2nd for 21,391) heads-up.

‘Rishab19’ (Won Ultrasonic 1.50 Lakhs GTD for 29,146), ‘mental_daddy’ (Won Afternoon on Stars 60K GTD for 15,991), ‘pranshubansal1’ (Won Deepstack 50K GTD for 12,852), and ‘underthegun010’ (Won Primetime Grind 50K GTD for 10,500) won the other Tuesday marquees on PokerStars India.



With Adda52`s New Year Carnival now in full swing, Tuesday’s MTT roster was headlined by the 12 Lakhs GTD Mechanical Bull. The 3,499 buy-in event gathered 384 participants, collecting a 12.22 Lakhs prize pool. The user ‘ash_9’ outlasted them all to win the title for 3.05 Lakhs, and Vishal ‘darky012’ Ojha finished runner-up for 1.85 Lakhs.

A former Nano Main Event winner, ‘dstar’ now has 16.83 Lakhs in recorded winnings on Adda52 and 10.98 Lakhs in corresponding profits.
