With just three days to go before the massive ₹30 Crores GTD India Online Poker Championship begins on Spartan Poker, the MTT regs seemed to be back in action, grinding it out in the IOPC mega satellites. Some of this traffic spilled over to the Wednesday marques as well.

Ashish Kumar bagged the single-biggest payday last night as he took down Spartan Poker’s Destiny for a career-best ₹5.17 Lakhs after striking a three-way deal with Myron Pereira and ‘Rishabh13.’

Abhijeet Kumar was the last player standing in Adda52’s Maverick and won ₹3.17 Lakhs following a heads-up chop with Prateek Pandey.

PokerGuru Ambassador Arjanveer Singh Chadha walked away with his second The Pride title and a ₹2.31 Lakhs payday, with the in-form Amit Kaushik placing runner-up.

Sandeep Varma, Shawn Jose, Anmol Agarwal, Anish Arora, Siddharth Gangwar, Abhishek Chhajer, Janish Jain, Ronuk Lekhraj, Paras Jain & Sanjay Mohan took down the other marquee titles.

Spartan Poker’s Wednesday headliner, Destiny, returned with a reduced ₹24 Lakhs prize pool guarantee last night (down from ₹26 Lakhs last week). And it turned out to be a prudent decision by the operator as the ₹5,500 entry buy-in event collected a ₹25.40 Lakhs prize pool from a starting field of 508 entrants. Ashish ‘King$layer’ Kumar came out on top to win the title for a career-best ₹5.17 Lakhs, making him the day’s biggest winner. He is now the fourth player to book a seat in the ₹10 Lakhs added Destiny 20.0 SnG Finale set for June 13 (9 PM).
