It was a thrilling Tuesday as Spartan Poker’s Final Table Series 3.0 crossed the mid-way stage just as PokerStars India’s INCOOP kicked off.
PokerGuru Ambassador Ashish Munot bagged the biggest Tuesday score after topping the ₹25 Lakhs GTD FTS#11 Double Stack final table for ₹4.91 Lakhs. Manish Ranjan (Won FTS#15 ₹15 Lakhs GTD for ₹2.89 Lakhs) and Mohit Bohra (Won FTS#13 ₹6 Lakhs GTD for ₹1.16 Lakhs) won Silver Medallions in the other FTS marquees.
Anurag Srivastava headlined the long list of winners on Day 1 of the INCOOP. The former IOPC – The Millionaire champion overcame a 143-entry field in the ₹15 Lakhs GTD INCOOP-08 Bounty Builder HR to collect ₹3.13 Lakhs.
Kartik Ved, Anmol Agarwal, Abhijeet Kumar, Arvind Halaharvi, Harsh Dembla, Ashutosh Balodhi, Mohit Bohra, Aditya Kulkarni, Aditya Singh, Naman Aggarwal, Arunkumar Singh, Akhilesh Gautam, Prabhat Kumar, Niraj Yadav, Nishant Pandey, Manoj Sharma, Armaan Kochhar, and Rahul Sengar were the other prominent winners.

Spartan Poker
The FTS 3.0 is the biggest-ever FTS to date, and the action has been on par with the guarantees. The series had four FTS branded events running on Tuesday alongside the final table of the ₹25 Lakhs GTD FTS#11 Double Stack.
PokerGuru Ambassador Ashish ‘Donkey 07’ Munot (opted out of our tracking) grabbed the fourth Gold Medallion at the series after taking down the ₹25 Lakhs GTD FTS#11 Double Stack for ₹4.91 Lakhs. The WPT India Main Event champion had entered the final table ranked sixth of eight players and did an impressive climb up the ranks to win the title. A mystery player ‘Strangler’ placed runner-up for ₹3.09 Lakhs.
On Monday, the FTS#11 Double Stack logged in 635 entrants, generating a ₹25.40 Lakhs prize pool. Day 1 of the flagship played down to an eight-handed final table, with all the finalists returning at 5 PM yesterday for the final showdown.
The start of the day chip leader Archit ‘Archit789’ Saraogi (4th for ₹1.76 Lakhs), Eshan ‘Ekapoor’ Kapoor (5th for ₹1.35 Lakhs), Dharambir ‘Baba1981’ Yadav (6th for ₹1.08 Lakhs), NPS Main Event champion & two-time FTS 3.0 final tablist Mohammad ‘Cupid stunt’ Azhar (7th for ₹81,534), and Abhishek ‘Bittur’ Kumar Chaurasia (8th for ₹57,912) earned final table payouts.

The Tuesday FTS headliner, the ₹40 Lakhs GTD FTS#14 Challenger featuring a ₹4,400 entry buy-in registered a 666-entry field, falling ₹6.70 Lakhs short of breaking even (an over 15% deficit). And as has been the norm, the gameplay was halted with the formation of the eight-handed FT. Rajat ‘NoPrisoners’ Sharma (3,087,052) bagged the FT chip lead with Karan ‘shanky2507’ Mehta (2,422,324), Nitesh ‘KATIYAR11’ Katiyar (1,702,903), Young Gun Neel ‘Worm33’ Joshi (1,206,532), and Amit ‘Fishy27’ Saraff (1,012,889) holding the other top stacks.
The final table got underway at 5 PM and was live-streamed from 6 PM onwards across various social media platforms, including PokerGuru`s Facebook page.
Manish ‘diamond101’ Ranjan outran the 720-entry field in the ₹15 Lakhs GTD FTS#15 to win the FTS Silver Medallion and ₹2.89 Lakhs, crossing ₹25 Lakhs in recorded winnings on Spartan Poker. The March UVS Highroller champion Anmol ‘Bullslayer’ Agarwal placed runner-up for ₹1.82 Lakhs. The ₹2,200 entry buy-in event overlaid ₹60,000.
Mohit kumar ‘FloatingMonkey’ Bohra was the other player to win the FTS Silver Medallion on Tuesday. Bohra took down the ₹6 Lakhs GTD FTS#13 for ₹1.16 Lakhs while the user ‘jstbfrnds’ came second for ₹1.02 Lakhs.
The ₹1 Crore GTD FTS – The Feast ran Day 1E yesterday. The ₹2,200 entry buy-in event added 192 entries. Only 22 players made the cut for Day 2. ‘sharkisback’ (181,079), ‘Technokingtesla’ (151,392), former IOPC – The Crown champion Harshit ‘PokerinOlympics’ Sanghi (150,066), Tanay ‘TannyCruz’ Hegde (132,743), and Bhushan ‘funchampion’ Sohani (93,386) topped the day-end chip counts.
Arunkumar ‘denoi’ Singh (Won Night Rider – DeepStack Turbo ₹2.10 Lakhs GTD for ₹53,514), ‘FergieTime’ (Won Monster Stack ₹2.5 Lakhs GTD for ₹48,247), Manoj ‘cutymannu’ Sharma (Won Energise ₹50K GTD for ₹11,778), and ‘Subjected’ (Won Epic ₹40K GTD for ₹7,242) bagged the other marquee titles on Spartan Poker.
After Day 5 of FTS 3.0, the two-time FTS title winner, PokerGuru Ambassador Shashank ‘reconnecting’ Desai (2,595 points), continues to lead the standings. Abhijeet ‘TheSupremeOne’ Kumar (2,438) and Ashish ‘notoriouskonvict1′ Nailwal (2,331 points) are close behind at #2 and #3 positions, respectively.

PokerBaazi’s Tuesday schedule was dominated by the ₹12 Lakhs GTD The Endeavour. However, even the low to mid-stakes players were spoilt for choice, with eight high-value events running as part of Day 3 of the ₹3 Crore-plus GTD IMPS Gold Edition.
Last night, The Endeavour brought in 335 players, filling in ₹27,500 in overlays. The action ran till 3.18 AM, eventually culminating in a three-way deal that declared Arvind ‘Flippopotomus’ Halaharvi the champion. Halaharvi pocketed ₹1.94 Lakhs, with ‘RabDaKutta’ (2nd for ₹1.92 Lakhs) and Vinay ‘Vinstill’ B (3rd for ₹1.85 Lakhs) securing the other top payouts.
Halaharvi had come very close to winning this event on January 12 – he finished runner-up for ₹1.74 Lakhs. The Tuesday score is his best-recorded finish on PokerBaazi, boosting his site cashes to ₹9.36 Lakhs (₹4.25 Lakhs in corresponding profits).
The other major attraction was the ₹30 Lakhs GTD IMPS #21 Mini Main Event. The ₹1,650 entry buy-in IMPS Mini Main Event opened to action yesterday. Day 1A drew 357 contenders, and only 38 of them made the cut for Day 2. ‘dreamrekha’ (5,25,000), with ‘ladda’ (3,74,000) and ‘shekhawat1995’ (366,000) bagged the top three stacks of the day. Three more starting flights are left to run before all qualifying stacks convene on September 17 at 8.45 PM.
The ₹10 Lakhs GTD IMPS #22 Value Blast was the other marquee running. Day 1C started at 8 PM and clocked in 870 entries by the time the late registrations ended. Only 95 players made it to Day 2 with ‘sanskrit’ (405,000), Taliwabang ‘Meverick’ Jamir (391,000), and ‘shahzzadi (366,000) topping the day-end chip counts. Here again, another three starting flights are left to play out, with Day 2 scheduled for September 18.

The second edition of PokerStars India`s ₹5.70 Crores GTD India Championship of Online Poker (INCOOP) got off to a rousing start with a packed schedule of 12 events flagging off the marquee series.
The biggest of them, the ₹15 Lakhs GTD INCOOP-08 Bounty Builder HR, saw the former IOPC – The Millionaire Main Event champion Anurag ‘GutshotHaiBro’ Srivastava overcoming a star-studded 143-entry field to win his first INCOOP title for a personal-best (on PokerStars India) ₹3.13 Lakhs (includes ₹167,109 in bounties).
This happens to be Anurag Srivastava`s 11th title of the year, and it boosted his lifetime winnings to ₹5.95 Crores with close to ₹2 Crores in lifetime profits.
PokerGuru Ambassador Kartik ‘TheInternetKid’ Ved secured a runner-up payday worth ₹2.28 Lakhs (includes ₹82,109 in bounties).
