It`s not been a dull day for players since Spartan Poker`s biggest-ever India Online Poker Championship 14.0 got underway on January 19. The Thursday action on the site was particularly explosive, thanks to the ₹1.25 Crores GTD IOPC #107 Super High Roller.

The mega event saw the recent Winter Series Main Event champion Ashish Munot conquering a stacked field of 84 top pros (124 entries total) to win the IOPC gold badge and a jaw-dropping ₹31.94 Lakhs (his second-best online score). The MTT pro made another deep run in IOPC #61 Thursday Prime, rounding up a whopping ₹32.11 Lakhs overall.

Akshat Sharma (2nd for a career-best ₹22 Lakhs) and James Mathews (3rd for online-best ₹14.26 Lakhs) raked in hefty scores on the IOPC #61 SHR podium.

The IOPC #2 & IOPC #36 winner Snehil Aggarwal became the first player to win three tournaments in the ongoing IOPC 14.0 as he took down Spartan Poker’s IOPC #61 Thursday Prime for ₹8.30 Lakhs – his fifth title and the best score of 2023 so far.

It was a red-letter Thursday for Ayush Arora, who set the felts ablaze, taking down two marquee tournaments in quick succession for a total take-home worth ₹6.86 Lakhs (his best single-day score). He won Spartan Poker’s IOPC #63 Thursday Spotlight for a site-best ₹4.20 Lakhs (his first IOPC title) shortly after conquering PokerBaazi’s (7-Max) SPRINT for ₹2.35 Lakhs.

Vikram Mishra (Won IOPC #64 All Rounder Monster Stack for ₹2.13 Lakhs), IOPC #8 All Rounder Deepstack winner Vikas Yadav (Won IOPC #60 Monster Stack for ₹1.68 Lakhs), IOPC #37 champion Sumeet Rajpurohit (Won IOPC #58 for ₹1.17 Lakhs), Akash Bohra (Won IOPC #57 PKO for ₹1.10 Lakhs), and Sanjay Mohan (Won IOPC #59 for ₹89,362) won the other IOPC titles on Thursday.

Young Gun Shardul Parthasarathi had a cracker of a run yesterday! The poker coach thrashed out two podium finishes and another four deep runs for a hefty ₹8.77 Lakhs in Thursday winnings. He most notably won PokerStars India’s The Colosseum (₹3.51 Lakhs) and placed runner-up in Spartan Poker’s IOPC #63 Thursday Spotlight (₹2.65 Lakhs).

Goa-based MTT pro Myron Pereira finished runner-up in The Colosseum for ₹2.68 Lakhs (won ₹3.27 Lakhs overall), hitting ₹1 Crore in online profits.

The first The MoneyMaker of the year, Himanshu Arora, reeled in almost ₹6.20 Lakhs last night, climbing to #2 in the annual rankings. His best run was in Adda52’s Godfather – the title victory fetching him ₹6.13 Lakhs.

The banker-turned-poker-pro Kunal Patni won PokerBaazi’s The Summit for an impressive fifth time last night for ₹3.93 Lakhs (won ₹6.87 Lakhs overall) following a heads-up deal with Vivek Jain (2nd for ₹3.72 Lakhs).
