Day 10 of PokerBaazi’s ₹35 Crores GTD WPT India Online series was jam-packed with action, and Young Gun Laksh ‘boomtlt23’ Pal Singh was right in the heart of it. This poker pro is one of those rare breed of champions who never goes out of form, but he has been especially running hot since his victory in Adda52’s The Mint a few weeks ago. This freshly-minted PokerBaazi Team pro and ‘The Circuit’ Season 1 champion has been gunning for his 10th online win of the year and his first #WPTOnline title, coming oh-so-close in Sunday’s WPT#45 (7-Max) Turbo with a second-place finish.

But last night, Singh finally got it done. He shipped PokerBaazi’s ₹20 Lakhs GTD WPT#52 (6-Max) Hyper Turbo, taking home ₹2.42 Lakhs after a heads-up deal. This 4 PM speed demon of an event saw Singh battling it out with 786 entries (386 unique). He finally achieved his goal after a wild 4.5-hour showdown, winning his first-ever WPT Online title and his 13th-best score of the year. This also marks his first win on PokerBaazi since becoming a brand ambassador on his 30th birthday four weeks ago – the first of many more to come!

Still buzzing from his win, Singh almost pulled off a double victory in the WPT#57 Megastack, finishing seventh for ₹81,397. His Tuesday grind saw him collect over ₹3.52 Lakhs from four deep runs, putting him at #25 on the ₹50 Lakhs WPT India Online Leaderboard.

The first act of Pereira’s Tuesday night performance unfolded in Junglee Poker’s ₹7.50 Lakhs GTD Tuesday Phoenix. A minor setback early on forced him to re-enter the 8 PM marquee event, but this only seemed to fuel his determination. With a ₹4,200 buy-in, The Mint smashed its guarantee, generating a ₹14.19 Lakhs prize pool. This meant big money for the 62 players who cashed, each walking away with at least ₹7,814. It was another electrifying night of action on India’s longest-running online poker site!
