Forget the cozy image of fireplaces and hot cocoa – the poker scene is absolutely buzzing. Players are hungry for those big year-end wins, and this past Friday was no exception.
We’re now just three days away from wrapping up PokerBaazi’s ₹35 Crores GTD WPT India Online series. All eyes are on the Main Event—offering an impressive ₹5 Crores prize pool—set to bring this series to an unforgettable conclusion on Sunday. That said, even before the big day arrives, Day 13 came through with five tournaments that guaranteed a total of ₹1.70 Crores, sending pulse rates soaring.
But the excitement wasn’t limited to one platform. Natural8 India, Adda52, and Pocket52 all kept their foot on the gas, rolling out their own headline-worthy tournaments. Despite the looming holidays, the competitive drive clearly isn’t slowing down any time soon!
Among the many standout stories, Mumbai’s own Avneesh Munjal took center stage. He picked up his third WPT title (second online) by topping the field in PokerBaazi’s WPT#73 Bounty Hunter (KO), collecting a hefty ₹11.37 Lakhs, which includes ₹16,000 in bounties. This triumph adds to a run that’s already been phenomenal—he notched a career-best ₹51+ Lakhs at the APT Phu Quoc 2024 High Roller – Double Stack, previously bagged top honors in the WPT Prime Vietnam VN₫ 8.80 Million NLHE – WPT Opener, and just last Friday clinched WPT#31 Bounty Hunter (PKO). This latest win ranks as his third-best online score overall and second-best on PokerBaazi. And if that weren’t enough, he stacked up four deep runs on Friday, bringing in more than ₹11.53 Lakhs, propelling him straight to the top of the WPT India Online Leaderboard. Another noteworthy effort in the WPT#73 Bounty Hunter (KO) came from Siddartha Khandelwal, who locked in ₹7.80 Lakhs for his runner-up finish, and his total earnings for Friday reached ₹7.97 Lakhs.
Over on Natural8 India, lawyer-turned-poker-pro Armaan Kochhar had a Friday to remember. He kicked things off by taking second place in the Midnight Madness 88, adding ₹2.03 Lakhs to his bankroll. But he wasn’t done yet! He then went on to win the Speed Racer Bounty Americas 108 for ₹1.85 Lakhs and finished seventh in the Zodiac Goat High Roller for another ₹1.35 Lakhs. By the end of the day, Kochhar had racked up a whopping ₹5.24 Lakhs, bringing his total winnings on Natural8 India to over ₹52 Lakhs.
Meanwhile, on Adda52, Aishwary Sharma finally broke his three-month title drought with a victory in The Ballers, taking home ₹3.84 Lakhs. And with deep runs in four other WPT tournaments, his total winnings for the day climbed to an impressive ₹4.73 Lakhs. Aditya Kulkarni, who recently took down the Pocket Highroller, kept his momentum going with a second-place finish in The Ballers for ₹2.83 Lakhs and a sixth-place finish in Junglee Poker’s Friday Supernova for ₹46,304. Add in four more deep runs, and his total winnings for the day reached at least ₹4.20 Lakhs.
Back on Natural8 India, Mehul Desai also had a Friday to brag about with two final table appearances. He snagged ₹3.42 Lakhs for a fourth-place finish in the Merry Monster Stack 250 and then added another ₹1.23 Lakhs with a fifth-place finish in the Friday Saver 250. With a total of ₹4.65 Lakhs in winnings for the day, Desai’s platform earnings have now blown past ₹37 Lakhs.
Other names made some noise on Natural8 India as well:
PokerBaazi just witnessed another memorable performance that left everyone talking. Pranay Chawla, already holding the WPT#61 Mega Championship and WPT#67 Super HighRoller trophies, carved his name in the record books by clinching his third WPT India Online title in the WPT#72 Superstack. He pocketed ₹4.50 Lakhs, making him the second player in this series to capture a triple crown. Hot on his heels was Sandeep Chatlani, who booked the runner-up spot with ₹2.93 Lakhs—his biggest score to date. By adding another deep finish, Chatlani’s total for the day went up to ₹2.99 Lakhs, a welcome boost that put him firmly back in the black.
The day’s excitement didn’t end there. Over on Pocket52, PokerGuru Staking coach Mithun Mahesh reclaimed a winner’s standing after a four-week gap by taking down the Pocket Highroller for ₹3.86 Lakhs—his best prize on that site so far. POY#12 Sashank Chakravarthy fought hard and ended up in second with a career-high ₹2.70 Lakhs on Pocket52. And once he tossed in four more cashes on other platforms, his total crept up to ₹3.21 Lakhs.
Meanwhile, poker streamer Aniruddha Joshi—who grabbed the WPT#26 Bounty (KO) title last week—continued his hot streak in PokerBaazi’s GTD WPT#75 (7-Max) Turbo. He snagged ₹3.70 Lakhs following a heads-up deal, marking his second WPT Online victory. Combined with another impressive run, his take for the day surpassed ₹3.77 Lakhs. Not to be overlooked, ‘Saiupp87’ walked away with ₹4.06 Lakhs from the same deal, making it their second-largest payout on PokerBaazi.
Back on PokerBaazi, ‘Gokulsnaps’, a fresh face on the platform, took down the WPT#71 Megastack for their first-ever WPT Online title. They snagged a career-best ₹2.35 Lakhs after a three-way deal, bringing their total winnings for the day to ₹2.59 Lakhs. Former BSS HighRoller champion ‘Heflyshigh’ put up a strong fight, finishing second with ₹2.20 Lakhs from the deal and bringing their total to ₹2.45 Lakhs. And let’s not forget Himanshu Arora, former The MoneyMaker champion, who claimed third place for ₹2.13 Lakhs and racked up an impressive ₹3.16 Lakhs from six deep runs.
PokerBaazi’s rising star ‘phoenix7a’ continued their ascent, grabbing their second platform title with a victory in the WPT#70 (PLO-4) for a personal-best ₹2.25 Lakhs.
On Junglee Poker, ‘harsh1327’ conquered the Friday Supernova, taking home ₹1.56 Lakhs. They also made a deep run in PokerBaazi’s WPT#73 Bounty Hunter (KO), bringing their total winnings to ₹1.71 Lakhs.
Friday’s action was further highlighted by impressive performances from Avinash Tauro, Nishant Chowdhury, Kashish Sachdev, and Deepak Verma, each securing victories in other prominent events.

The ₹35 Crores GTD WPT India Online series on PokerBaazi is charging toward its grand finale this Sunday, and Day 13 brought nothing short of fireworks. With five action-packed events offering a combined ₹1.70 Crores in guaranteed prizes, the poker tables were buzzing. Adding to the excitement, the fifth flight of the ₹5 Crores GTD WPT#86 Main Event kept pulling in players. But let’s get real—the ₹75 Lakhs GTD WPT#73 Bounty Hunter (KO) was the story of the night, and it was Mumbai’s very own poker dynamo, Avneesh ‘iamam’ Munjal, who stole the show.
Munjal’s hot streak is something else. Fresh from a career-high ₹51 Lakhs payday at the 2024 APT Phu Quoc HighRoller – Double Stack, and after shining for the Bigcash Bengaluru Allstars in Pocket52 PSL Season 6, the man has seamlessly shifted gears to the online scene. His recent exploits include a title win in the WPT#31 Bounty Hunter (PKO) last Friday and a podium finish in the WPT#41 Megastack just days ago.
Last night, Munjal proved once again why he’s a name to watch. Battling through a massive 937-entry field (476 unique), he faced early challenges but showed his trademark resilience. Four bullets later—yes, four—he locked in, played with unrelenting focus, and after more than nine hours of intense play, Munjal clinched his third WPT title, his second online. This adds to his illustrious poker résumé, which includes his first WPT title win at the 2023 WPT Prime Vietnam VN₫ 8.80 Million NLHE – WPT Opener.
When the dust settled, Munjal pocketed a hefty ₹11.37 Lakhs, including ₹16,000 in bounties, making it his third-largest online score and his second-biggest win on PokerBaazi. If that wasn’t impressive enough, he also crushed three other WPT events, rounding off his Friday earnings at ₹11.53 Lakhs – making him the biggest winner of the day. The cherry on top? He now leads the ₹50 Lakhs GTD WPT India Online leaderboard, sitting comfortably at the top with 13,170 points from 51 scores.
> 1st in PokerBaazi’s WPT#73 Bounty Hunter (KO) for ₹11,37,000* (₹16,000 in bounties)
> 35th in PokerBaazi’s WPT#70 (PLO-4) for ₹6,750
> 156th in PokerBaazi’s WPT#72 SuperStack for ₹5,100
> 115th in PokerBaazi’s WPT#71 Megastack for ₹3,920
Avneesh Munjal’s (excluding Natural8 India, Junglee Poker and Pocket52): Lifetime Winnings: ₹7.46 Crores | Lifetime Profits: ₹1.87 Crores | Titles Won in 2024: #12 | Annual Winnings: ₹2.33 Crores | Annual Profits: ₹58.15 Lakhs| Moves to #1 on the ₹50 Lakhs WPT India Online Leaderboard
Every hero needs a worthy rival, and in this story, Siddartha’ siddyk20′ Khandelwal stepped into that role. Coming off a podium finish in last month’s Blockbuster, Khandelwal brought his A-game to the WPT#73 Bounty Hunter (KO), where he pushed Munjal to his limits. Known for his consistency, Khandelwal has been grinding hard this year, but a title win has always eluded him. Back in September, he came agonizingly close, finishing runner-up in the 1000X#5 Sunday Prime.
Last night, Khandelwal gave it everything he had. Firing three bullets in the Bounty Hunter, he pushed Munjal to the edge but fell just short of the crown. Still, his runner-up finish brought in ₹7.80 Lakhs, including ₹30,000 in bounties—a personal best for 2024. He also cashed in the WPT#71 Megastack, bringing his total Friday winnings to ₹7.97 Lakhs. Not a bad night for the grinder.
> 2nd in PokerBaazi’s WPT#73 Bounty Hunter (KO) for ₹7,80,000* (₹30,000 in bounties)
> 16th in PokerBaazi’s WPT#71 Megastack for ₹16,711
Siddartha Khandelwal’s online stats (PokerBaazi, Adda52 and Spartan Poker): Lifetime Winnings: ₹69.35 Lakhs | Lifetime Profits: ₹17.48 Lakhs
The WPT#73 Bounty Hunter (KO) final table was a showcase of talent. Among the sharks were last week’s WPT#41 Megastack finalist Rishab ‘ryuk’ Malik (4th for ₹4.46 Lakhs), former MHW Colossus champ Mitesh ‘mikeknp’ Gupta (5th for ₹3.72 Lakhs), and recent BSS Kickoff podium finisher Sandeep ‘PoKcey’ Singh (8th for ₹1.51 Lakhs).
The ₹10,000 buy-in WPT#73 Bounty Hunter (KO) may have fallen ₹9.82 Lakhs short of its ₹75 Lakhs guarantee, but the additional ₹18.74 Lakhs bounty pool brought plenty of heat. With 146 players cashing in and many others snagging juicy bounties, the event was electric from start to finish.
Day 13 proved yet again why the WPT India Online series is a spectacle. From Munjal’s heroic triumphs to Khandelwal’s dogged determination, the night was packed with drama, tension, and jaw-dropping plays. As the series nears its conclusion, one thing is certain—this is poker at its absolute best.

The number 13, often a harbinger of bad luck, proved to be anything but for Pranay ‘setmeup’ Chawla on Day 13 of PokerBaazi’s ₹35 Crores GTD WPT India Online series. A day brimming with ₹1.70 Crores in prizes across five events, it was a poker player’s dream, even without the usual shiny WPT trophies. But Chawla, he’s a man who seems to collect those.
Fresh from consecutive trophy wins in the WPT#61 Mega Championship and the WPT#67 Super High Roller, this former IPC ₹100K High Roller champion was on an absolute tear. The ₹30 Lakhs GTD WPT#72 Superstack, firing up at 6:30 PM, was merely the next mountain to conquer. For seven and a half grueling hours, he battled through a colossal 1,108-entry field (588 unique players), a true test of endurance and skill. And in the end, Chawla did what he does best: he won, snatching his third WPT Online title in as many days and a cool ₹4.50 Lakhs. This made him the second in the series to pull off such a legendary three-peat after the legendary Gaurav Sood, etching his name even deeper into the annals of poker history.
Pranay Chawla’s online stats (excluding Natural8 India, Junglee Poker and Pocket52): Lifetime Winnings: ₹5.36 Crores | Lifetime Profits: ₹1.20 Crores | Titles Won in 2024: #4
Then there’s Sandeep ‘kundumc’ Chatlani, a name that deserves its spotlight. Chasing his first WPT Online title, he fought like a warrior, ending up just shy of the ultimate prize. But let’s not forget, this was a triumph in its own right. His ₹2.93 Lakhs was his best score of 2024 and the second-highest of his career, a light at the end of a six-month tunnel. This payout, along with a small cash in the WPT#71 Megastack (97th for ₹5,158), meant his Friday haul was ₹2.99 Lakhs, a sum that undoubtedly put a smile back on this grinder’s face—moving him back into the green.
Sandeep Chatlani’s PokerBaazi stats: Site Winnings: ₹79.69 Lakhs | Site Profits: ₹2.03 Lakhs | Titles Won in 2024: #6
Aditya ‘Whoarewe’ Kulkarni (opted out of our tracking) was another name on everyone’s lips, quietly amassing a staggering ₹5.53 Lakhs from seven deep runs. He was a true phantom, making final tables in Adda52’s The Ballers, PokerBaazi’s WPT#72 Superstack, and Junglee Poker’s Friday Supernova.

> 137th in PokerBaazi’s WPT#75 (7-Max) Turbo for ₹5,160
> 16th in Junglee Poker’s Friday Fighter for ₹4,135 (₹1,500 in bounties)
Rising Star Aman ‘KarmaPoker’ Parakh, finishing fourth in the WPT#72 Superstack for ₹1.68 Lakhs, was another player making waves. This, combined with four more scores in other #WPT events, saw his total winnings swell by ₹2.16 Lakhs, rocketing him to #3 on the ₹50 Lakhs GTD WPT India Online Leaderboard with 11,930 points from 49 scores.
Sagnika ‘Uterus’ Dam Chowdhury and Vijaya ‘q1989’ Bhaskara Rao also made deep runs, finishing in seventh and eighth place for ₹78,000 and ₹56,100, respectively.
The WPT#72 Superstack, despite a ₹1.09 Lakhs overlay, was a success. The top 161 finishers walked away with a profit, with even the min-cash being a solid ₹5,100 – 1.7 times the ₹3,000 buy-in.

Day 13 of PokerBaazi’s ₹35 Crores GTD WPT India Online series roared into action, and the spotlight shone brightly on Aniruddha ‘PocketacesAJ’ Joshi. One of the country’s most beloved poker streamers, Joshi, made waves with a stunning victory in the ₹30 Lakhs GTD WPT#75 (7-Max) Turbo, claiming his second WPT Online title of the series!
After fellow streamer Ashutosh Kumar‘s WPT#55 Superstack triumph earlier this week, it was Joshi’s turn to steal the show. With a commanding presence at the tables, he delivered a masterclass performance, adding yet another accolade to his growing list of achievements.
Joshi’s poker journey this year has been nothing short of phenomenal. Since his Blockbuster Lite victory in October, he’s been a dominant force with eight final-table finishes and countless deep runs. His first WPT Online title came just last week in the WPT#26 Bounty (KO), but last night, he raised the stakes, clinching his second title in a thrilling 7-Max showdown.
Picture this: The 9 PM flagship event, a field of 1,235 entries (690 unique) buzzing with energy. The prize pool was massive, the tension even greater. Joshi played with surgical precision over seven hours and 22 minutes of intense poker warfare. Every move was calculated, every decision laced with intent. And when the final card landed, Joshi emerged as the champion, pocketing ₹3.70 Lakhs after a heads-up deal.
That wasn’t the only highlight for Joshi. Earlier in the evening, he cashed in 78th place in the WPT#71 Megastack, adding ₹6,189 to his tally. By the end of the night, his Friday winnings soared past ₹3.77 Lakhs, cementing his reputation as one of the most consistent performers in the series.

Meanwhile, ‘Saiupp87’ (active on PokerBaazi since August this year) was writing their own story in the WPT#75 Turbo. Known for their The Endeavour win back in August, they came in hungry for a second trophy. The battle was fierce, and after firing three bullets, they reached the final table with determination, burning bright. Victory was just a hand away, but the cards had other plans. Despite falling short, their runner-up finish earned them an impressive ₹4.06 Lakhs from the deal, their second-best score on the platform.
Saiupp87’s PokerBaazi stats: Site Winnings: ₹37.95 Lakhs | Titles Won in 2024: #1
The WPT#75 (7-Max) Turbo final table also featured known regs like the Himanshu ‘Hc27’ Chhikara (3rd for ₹2.22 Lakhs), Janish ‘janish1998’ Jain (5th for ₹1.32 Lakhs), POY#16 Shreyansh ‘halifax7701’ Sharma (6th for ₹1.03 Lakhs) and Abhishek ‘theheisenberg’ Paul (7th for ₹78,942).

For almost eight hours, the battle raged on – a grueling test of poker prowess and stamina. Sharma, with a combination of aggressive plays and calculated moves, eliminated his rivals one by one. Finally, he emerged as the champion, claiming a ₹3.84 Lakhs prize.
But Sharma wasn’t done yet. He continued his hot streak with deep runs in four more WPT events, racking up winnings that reached an impressive ₹4.73 Lakhs.

The Pocket Highroller on Pocket52 always turns up the heat, and last night’s edition was no exception! With a ₹20 Lakhs GTD, this high-stakes battle brought out some of the biggest names in the Indian poker scene. But when the dust settled, it was Mithun ‘riverman’ Mahesh (opted out of our tracking) who reigned supreme, clinching the title and walking away with a platform-best ₹3.86 Lakhs in first-place prize money.
Mahesh, a poker coach at PokerGuru Stacking, isn’t just about teaching others how to win—he’s out there showing them how it’s done! Fresh off guiding the Deccan Aces to victory in the Pocket52 PSL Season 6 and earning the Player of the Season title, Mahesh was back to making waves on the felt. After a four-week break from the winner’s circle—his last victory came in Adda52’s Big Whale—he returned with a bang, proving why he’s a name to watch.
Even when he wasn’t winning titles, Mahesh kept the momentum going with strong finishes, including a third-place finish in PokerBaazi’s WPT#9 Warm-Up and a sixth-place finish in Adda52’s Iron Man last Monday. But last night, he turned the tables, reclaiming the top spot in style.
The Pocket Highroller, Pocket52’s 8 PM flagship event, attracted a competitive field of 146 entries (69 unique), creating an electrifying poker atmosphere. Mahesh displayed resilience and skill, battling through nearly eight hours of intense gameplay to clinch the coveted title. Interestingly, his previous best score on the platform was also in the Pocket Highroller, where he finished third just last month.
Mithun Mahesh’s Pocket52 stats: Site Winnings: ₹10.99 Lakhs | Site Profits: ₹2.91 Lakhs | Titles Won in 2024: #2
On the heels of Mahesh’s success was POY#12 Sashank ‘TheTamizhDurrr’ Chakravarthy, who was determined to end his two-month dry spell. After firing a second bullet, Chakravarthy came agonizingly close to victory, securing a runner-up finish for a site-best ₹2.70 Lakhs. This strong performance, coupled with three additional scores across platforms, pushed his Friday winnings to an impressive ₹3.13 Lakhs.
> 2nd in Pocket52’s Pocket Highroller for ₹2,70,450
> 10th in Adda52’s The Ballers for ₹27,560
> 89th in PokerBaazi’s WPT#72 Superstack for ₹8,400
> 72nd in PokerBaazi’s WPT#71 Megastack for ₹6,189
Sashank Chakravarthy’s online stats (excluding Pocket52, Natural8 India, Junglee Poker and PokerStars India): Lifetime Winnings: ₹6.04 Crores | Lifetime Profits: ₹2.01 Crores | Titles Won in 2024: #18 | Annual Winnings (including all platforms): ₹2.98 Crores | Ranked #12 in the 2024 Leaderboard Standings (Total Cashes)
The Pocket Highroller final table was a shark tank featuring some of the top players in the country like last night’s WPT#73 Bounty Hunter (#KO) fourth-place finisher Rishab ‘GOAT’ Malik (3rd for ₹1.74 Lakhs), PokerBaazi Team pro Laksh ‘BoomTilt23’ Pal Singh (4th for ₹1,28,850), Young Gun Arsh ‘BigggTymeR’ Grover (5th for ₹96,600) and the ever-resilient Dhaval ‘DhavalMudgal’ Mudgal (6th for ₹77,250).
With an ₹11,000 buy-in, the Pocket Highroller narrowly missed its ₹15 Lakhs guarantee, falling short by ₹1.04 Lakhs. However, the top 18 finishers shared the spoils, with the minimum cash set at ₹19,650—nearly double the buy-in! It’s no wonder Pocket52 is quickly becoming the go-to platform for serious poker action.
