With Spartan Poker’s The Millionaire Series 3.0 just two days away from the finish line, the weekend is shaping up to be a blockbuster one.

Unsurprisingly, yesterday’s biggest guaranteed event ran under The Millionaire Series branding, and the top two finishers added seven figures to their poker bankroll. We are talking about the ₹50 Lakhs GTD Millionaire Series#18 – The Elite that crowned a champion in Bhushan Sohani, who won a career-best ₹10.90 Lakhs after a heads-up deal with Nishaanth Shanmughasundaram (2nd for ₹10.09 Lakhs). The poker streamer also chopped the Millionaire Series #19 heads-up, adding ₹12.20 Lakhs in Friday earnings.

PokerGuru Ambassador Gokul Raj busted a prolonged title drought by taking down Adda52’s The Ballers for ₹5.76 Lakhs. He scored in two more events, netting a cumulative ₹7.03 Lakhs.

Vaibhav Sharma won PokerBaazi’s The Weekly Highroller for the second time last night for ₹3.25 Lakhs! He chopped the title heads-up with another “Sharma” – Tuesday`s Bounty Builder HR winner Rajat Sharma (2nd for ₹2.77 Lakhs)!

Harsh Dembla came out on top in PokerStars India’s Super Highroller, winning his second High Roller title of the month and a winner’s paycheque worth ₹2.86 Lakhs. Young Gun Sanat Mehrotra came second for ₹2.20 Lakhs.

Arun Sriram, Jaya Bharathkumar Prajapati, Pranav Khandalkar, Vivek Pal, Ram Kakkar, Naresh Kumar, Murali Mohan, Amit Ayare, Adwait Pol, Rafiq Khan, and Vishal Singh won the other prominent winners!

Spartan Poker’s The Millionaire Series 3.0 had five events running yesterday, and only two of them played down to a winner!

The ₹50 Lakhs GTD Millionaire Series#18 – The Elite (6-Max – 1st Place ₹10 Lakhs GTD) was the day`s headline event. Attracting 489 entrants, the ₹11,000 buy-in event saw Bhushan ‘funchampion’ Sohani walk away with the title and a career-best ₹10.90 Lakhs in prize money following a heads-up deal with Nishaanth ‘ephemeral’ Shanmughasundaram (2nd for ₹10.09 Lakhs)!

Bhushan Sohani almost won the other Millionaire Series marquee as well, lapping up ₹12.20 Lakhs in Friday winnings.

His top finishes include:

Jaya ‘denb’ Bharathkumar Prajapati took down the only other Millionaire Series 3.0 event that played down to a winner yesterday – ₹9 Lakhs GTD Millionaire Series#19. Prajapati denied Bhushan Sohani (2nd for ₹1.30 Lakhs) the chance to claim back-to-back titles and walked away with the ₹1.53 Lakhs top prize, following a heads-up deal.

The three other events were all starting flights for the ₹1.50 Crores GTD Millionaire Series – The Millionaire (Day 1B), ₹10 Lakhs GTD Millionaire Series – D’Lite (Day 1A), and ₹10 Lakhs GTD Millionaire Series – D’Lite (Day 1B).

Tanmay Sanjay Bhalerao (1,878 points) continues to hold the #3 spot.

The former SSS The Millionaire runner-up finisher Vaibhav ‘WakhraSwagNi’ Sharma came out on top, winning the event for the second time this year for ₹3.25 Lakhs. He struck a heads-up deal with the APT Online India Super Highroller champion Rajat ‘LungFakeer’ Sharma (2nd for ₹2.77 Lakhs)!

The user Steelbala finished runner-up for ₹1.10 Lakhs.

PokerStars India`s Friday headliner, the ₹12 Lakhs GTD Super Highroller, ended up registering a 95-player starting field, resulting in a significant ₹1.20 Lakhs overlay shortfall (a 10% deficit). After almost seven hours of gameplay, Harsh ‘kakori kabab’ Dembla cut his way across the reg-infested field to collect the ₹2.86 Lakhs up top. Young Gun Sanat ‘durrsanta’ Mehrotra finished runner-up for ₹2.20 Lakhs.

Harsh Dembla bagged his second High Roller title of the month last night – breaching the ₹1.88 Crores mark in recorded online winnings (excluding PokerStars India).

The second Friday night marquee, the ₹2 Lakhs GTD Uppercut Mini, made the required quorum with 161 entrants signing up for ₹1,375, and the top 17 places finished in the money. Ram ‘TheLagLawyer’ Kakkar (opted out of our tracked database) was the last player standing and won ₹48,848, with ‘rdx1111’ placing runner-up for ₹18,761.

Adda52’s ₹22.50 Lakhs GTD The Ballers had a disappointing run last night with a below-par 294-entry field resulting in an overlay shortfall worth ₹2.36 Lakhs! It was past 4 AM today when play culminated with PokerGuru Ambassador Gokul ‘Niruha’ Raj (opted out of our tracking) taking down the event for ₹5.76 Lakhs. ‘rockydgreat’ placed second for ₹3.43 Lakhs.

The Ballers win fetched Gokul Raj his best score since his second-place finish in the INCOOP Main Event in September! Raj cashed two other Friday flagships for a total take-home worth ₹7.03 Lakhs.

His top finishes include:

The Adda52 Big Game champion Arun ‘runyrules’ Sriram, who had placed fifth in The Ballers last week, finished two places better third time – collecting ₹2.59 Lakhs in third place. He also won the Baazi Grinders Series #27: Highroller for ₹1.58 Lakhs, adding over ₹4.16 Lakhs on total winnings.

The ₹4 Lakhs GTD Friday Bounty brought in 239 participants, generating a guarantee-smashing ₹4.78 Lakhs prize pool. The former The Millionaire champion Pranav ‘pkpok’ Khandalkar outlasted them all to collect ₹1.17 Lakhs in first-place prize money (includes ₹8,625 in bounties), defeating ‘rupoomdey’ in the heads-up play. The latter went on an elimination spree in the event and notched up an incredible 14 bounties to make away with ₹1.28 Lakhs (includes ₹28,617 in bounties).
