Spartan Poker’s Grand Poker Series (GPS) once again drove the MTT action on Tuesday. The turnouts across the domestic platforms saw some flagships registering overlays while most comfortably sailed through.

Setting the virtual felts on fire was the Spartan Poker-hosted ₹20 Lakhs GTD GPS #23 Mega Stack. The ₹3,300 entry buy-in event logged in 664 entries, overlaying a negligible ₹8,000. After almost eight hours of rigorous play, Sreeharsha ‘yUDdam’ Boneni came out on top to win a personal-best ₹3.87 Lakhs with ‘SRCX21’ finishing runner-up for ₹2.24 Lakhs. Last night`s score boosted Boneni`s online record to ₹1.1 Crore.
The other Wednesday marquee, the ₹8 Lakhs GTD GPS #24 The Race pulled in 638 entries, exceeded the listed guarantee by ₹1.57 Lakhs. Started at 9.30 PM, it was 4.42 AM on Wednesday by the time Rajat ‘BloatedBelly’ Mahajan took down the title, winning ₹1.85 Lakhs. Ss_gilli’ finished runner-up for ₹1.17 Lakhs. This for Mahajan, is his second flagship title on the site this past week. Last Tuesday, he had won the ₹18 Lakhs GTD Mega Stack for ₹3.48 Lakhs. Mahajan is very close to touching ₹1 Crore in recorded earnings for the year, with his lifetime tally standing tall at ₹2.1 Crores.

PokerStars India had two ₹5 Lakhs GTD tourneys running on the site on Tuesday. The ₹2,200 entry buy-in Sixth Sense logged in 246 entries – falling four entries short of meeting its ₹5 Lakhs guarantee. Sahil ‘inaboobham’ Mahboobani took down the event for ₹91,225, beating ‘uvrv007’ (runner-up for ₹65,735) heads-up. Sitting on a mammoth ₹5.89 Crores in lifetime earnings, Mahboobani annual scores are a shade under ₹2 Crores, i.e., ₹1.99 Crores. The victory also secured him the #2 spot on PokerStars India’s new mega leaderboard race, “The Star Of The Month.”
The other marquee, the ₹2,750 entry buy-in Uppercut Mini, mustered 177 entries, overlaying ₹57,500. Dhirendra ‘dmkool007’ Kumar outlasted the competition to win ₹1.03 Lakhs (₹46,538 in prize money and ₹56,249 in bounties) following a heads-up chop with ‘Veer7700,’ who took home ₹55,484 (₹46,538 in prize money and ₹8,945 in bounties). Kumar’s online record currently stands at ₹78.09 Lakhs.
PokerStars India’s weeklong Play For A Cause Charity series is on the final stretch. Last night, the site hosted the ₹50K GTD “Play For A Cause – Involve Education Charity Special” event that saw 67 entrants signing up for the noble cause. The last two players agreed on a head-up chop that saw ‘getsetgo666′ winning the title for ₹12,630, while Siddharth ‘gangnam gangi’ Gangwar banked ₹12,629 for his runner-up finish.

PokerBaazi’s Tuesday flagship, The Endeavour, logged in 406 entries, falling ₹79,000 short of its ₹15 Lakhs prize pool guarantee. Advait ‘Ronaldinho18’ Rajguru topped the reg-laden field to win ₹3.15 Lakhs. Anonymous user ‘md20’ received ₹2.21 Lakhs for their runner-up finish. The score brought Rajguru his fourth-biggest payday, pushing his lifetime tally over ₹74 Lakhs.
The ₹3 Lakhs GTD Tuesday MonsterStack registered 166 entries to accumulate ₹3.32 Lakhs in the prize pool. ‘Aladdin’ was the last player standing and won ₹82,570, after besting ‘thereallokimon’ (runner-up for ₹57,870) heads-up.

The day`s featured tourney on Adda52 was the ₹15 Lakhs GTD The Mint. A turnout of 466 entries generated a guarantee-crushing ₹16.31 Lakhs prize pool with Vikas ‘Vikas267’ Yadav navigating his way to the top to win ₹4 Lakhs – his second-biggest payday to date. Online reg Myron ‘zzzzz369’ Pereira finished runner-up for ₹2.36 Lakhs.
