Same as Wednesday, the top pros dominated the Thursday flagships raking in the massive payouts. Here are the day’s highlights.

Spartan Poker

Headlining the Thursday MTT line up on Spartan Poker was the ₹18 Lakhs GTD Ultron. The ₹4,400 entry buy-in tourney logged in 449 entries, falling just one entry short of meeting its advertised guarantee. Championing the tourney for a second time was APL Ambassador Sumit ‘Sands Myth’ Sapra, who claimed the ₹3.51 Lakhs up-top cash prize after defeating ‘Grapes73’ (runner-up for ₹2.23 Lakhs) in heads-up play. Sapra has been one of the most consistent MTT crushers this year. Sitting on a whopping ₹2.86+ Crores in recorded earnings for the year, he is currently ranked #4 on the annual leaderboard. The six-figure score also made him the latest entrant in the exclusive “₹6-Crore Club”.

The other marquee tourney, the ₹7.5 Lakhs GTD Monster Stack, saw the 2020 India Poker Champion Rubin ‘icantwin’ Labroo wade through the reg-laden field to win ₹1.71 Lakhs. Labroo denied anonymous user ‘BeBoT’ (runner-up for ₹1.23 Lakhs) the title.

Surprisingly, this was the less significant of two six-figure scores that Labroo picked up last night. Booking ₹5.21 Lakhs in total earnings for the day, Labroo placed runner-up in Adda52’s Godfather for ₹3.5 Lakhs. Labroo`s Thursday night rampage has brought within touching distance of the ₹2 Crore-mark in annual earnings. At the same time, pushing his lifetime tally to ₹5.22 Crores.

PokerStars India

PokerStars India’s Thursday run of tourneys was headlined by the ₹10 Lakhs GTD Uppercut Magic Edition. A turnout of 235 entries saw the 6-max tourney overlaying ₹60,000. PokerGuru Ambassador Ashish ‘Spewushhhiiiii’ Ahuja made a dash for the title, eventually locking horns with Goonjan ‘gmtesting.ind’ Mall in the heads-up finale. The Chandigarh-based MTT pro prevailed to win the title and the ₹1.81 Lakhs first-place cash prize. His online MTT record stands tall at ₹5.82 Crores.

Mall banked ₹1.43 Lakhs for his runner-up finish, pushing his lifetime tally over ₹5.15 Crores.

The other Thursday night tourney awarding points to the “Star of the Month” leaderboard race, the ₹1 Lakhs GTD Bigstack Turbo, recorded 113 entries, collecting a guarantee-surpassing ₹1.13 Lakhs prize pool. ‘tanayp’ topped the field to win ₹24,134, even as ‘cardshark6191’ finished runner-up for ₹18,242.

Adda52

Firing up the late-night MTT action on Adda52 was the ₹25 Lakhs GTD Godfather. Starting at 8 PM, the Thursday flagship registered 499 entries – falling one entry short of its 500-player guarantee. It was 4.55 AM by the time Shravan ‘sweatmyass13’ Chhabria came out on top to bank the single-biggest score of the day worth ₹6 Lakhs. The Monster Stack champion Rubin ‘kornkif’ Labroo finished runner-up for ₹3.50 Lakhs, missing out on a second title victory.

PokerBaazi

PokerBaazi`s Thursday signature tourney, the ₹18 Lakhs GTD The Summit, brought in 216 runners resulting in a significant ₹1.8 Lakhs shortfall. Coming out on top of a reg-infested FT was yet another familiar MTT pro, Kunal ‘VasooliChacha’ Patni, who took down his third flagship title this month, adding ₹4.24 Lakhs to his bankroll. ‘likeaboss85’ finished runner-up for ₹2.97 Lakhs.

Kunal Patni

Patni also placed fourth in PokerStars India’s Uppercut MAGIC Edition for 47,102, sending his online scorecard soaring to ₹3.22 Crores. Currently ranked #11 on the annual leaderboard with ₹2.49 Crores in winnings, Patni is on the verge of storming into the top 10.

Nitesh ‘neo007’ Baliyan topped the 186-entry field in the Thursday MonsterStack to win ₹1.24 Lakhs, edging past Guruprasad ‘fish_calling’ Gupta (runner-up for ₹87,150) in heads-up play. The ₹5 Lakhs GTD recorded an overlay shortfall of ₹35,000. This happens to be Baliyan’s third-biggest score on PokerBaazi, pushing his recorded earnings on the site to ₹12.33 Lakhs (₹1.72 Lakhs in profits).
