With Spartan Poker’s India Online Poker Championship (IOPC) July edition underway in full swing, much of the virtual action was focused on the series. While some flagship events did witness an overlay, most of the IOPC tourneys comfortably surpassed their advertised guarantees. Let’s check out who the big winners were yesterday.
Spartan Poker
It was an action-packed day on Spartan Poker, and the show-stealer was the ever-popular ₹20 Lakhs GTD IOPC ReCharge. The event registered 1,195 entries and collected a guarantee-smashing prize pool worth ₹23.90 Lakhs. Chirag ‘Sa$sY_ThaT’ Bhardwaj championed the tourney for ₹3.61 Lakhs, after a three-way deal with ‘Unpredictable1’ (runner-up for ₹2.91 Lakhs) and ‘NutzHunteR’ (3rd for ₹2.68 Lakhs).

His overall online scorecard stands tall at ₹1.33 Crores.
The other headliner event of the night was the IOPC Destiny featuring a ₹10 Lakhs guarantee. A field of 654 runners gathered to participate, helping the tourney comfortably sail past its listed guarantee. In the end, the ₹13.08 Lakhs prize pool was distributed among the top 60 finishers.
