Tuesday saw the online action picking up steam with the tournament guarantees relatively increasing over what was on offer on Monday. Spartan Poker’s Tuesday run of events was headlined by the Mega Stack ₹20 Lakhs GTD. The tournament garnered 640 entries (282 unique, 136 re-entries, and 222 rebuys), falling about ₹80,000 short of the posted guarantee. Racing ahead of the rest was Devang ‘giraffeganger_1’ Yadav, who defeated ‘CrownUpJr’ heads-up to emerge champion and pad his bankroll by ₹3.88 Lakhs. Yadav was quite the star last year, where he had won two Adda52 Millions’ titles. He had also taken down the IOPC #41 MIB ₹75 Lakhs GTD for ₹14.31 Lakhs this July. Yesterday, he fired three bullets in the Mega Stack and eventually came out on top on his third attempt.

Another ambitious young talent that has been in the spotlight is Anuj ‘brockLesnar95’ Yadav. Yesterday he championed PokerBaazi’s The Endeavour ₹15 Lakhs GTD and bested Young Gun Ujjwal ‘Mr_Robot’ Narwal (runner-up for ₹2.14 Lakhs) heads-up to claim the ₹3.06 Lakhs top prize. Yadav’s spectacular Tuesday run saw him take down 9stacks’ StackUp @8 PM NLHE ₹2.5 Lakhs GTD as well for ₹65,000. The champion also final tabled PokerStars India’s Sixth Sense ₹7.5 Lakhs GTD, finishing third for ₹70,964. Yadav is an up-and-coming player, and his recent online exploits include shipping PokerStars India’s Night on Stars ₹5 Lakhs GTD on December 4, the Highroller ₹12 Lakhs GTD on November 28 and the Deep Stack ₹2 Lakhs GTD on November 12.

Adda52’s Hitman ₹7.5 Lakhs GTD was among the other marquee events that posted an overlay last night. Well-known pro Abhishek ‘thegrinder’ Garg ran past a field of 222 entries (126 unique and 96 re-entries) to pocket a winner’s payday of ₹1.53 Lakhs in the event.

PokerStars India’s Sixth Sense ₹7.5 Lakhs GTD logged in a marginal overlay of ₹25,000 through 290 entries (151 unique and 139 re-entries). Online crusher Harsh ‘kakori kabab’ Dembla topped the field and netted a ₹1.14 Lakhs paycheque, following a heads-up chop with ‘Prodichase’ (runner-up for ₹1.19 Lakhs).
