It was a busy Wednesday with all the top regs stealing the show. Devrat Singh was hands down the star of the day for winning Spartan Poker’s ₹25 Lakhs GTD Destiny for ₹7.55 Lakhs. The four-time Destiny winner Nitin Arora missed a record-extending fifth title as he placed runner-up for ₹4.65 Lakhs.

The #1 ranked player on the annual charts, Manish Lakhotia, FT-ed three flagship tourneys, raking in ₹2.78 Lakhs in cumulative earnings.

Rising Star Ritwik Khanna, Atif Khan, Kunal Patni & Amit Kaushik were the other top winners.

Spartan Poker`s Destiny 19.0 series found its fifth champion last night. The ₹25 Lakhs GTD, ₹5,500 entry buy-in tourney logged in 581 entries, collecting ₹29.05 Lakhs in the prize pool (crushing its advertised guarantee by over 20%). The former Full House champion Devrat ‘Leonidas1’ Singh was the last player standing and won ₹7.55 Lakhs, his second-best career finish. The four-time Destiny winner Nitin ‘Demogorgon’ Arora placed runner-up for ₹4.65 Lakhs while PokerGuru Ambassador Ashish ‘Spewushhhiiiii’ Ahuja rounded out the podium finishers with a third-place finish worth ₹2.69 Lakhs.

Devrat Singh picked up his 21st title of the year with the Destiny win, pushing his lifetime earnings to ₹1.64 Crores (₹47.63 Lakhs in net profits). He also booked himself a seat in the Destiny 19.0 SnG Finale set for June 13 (9 PM).

The top-ranked player of the year, Manish Lakhotia, is the only one on our database sitting with over ₹1.50 Crores in annual earnings. The Siliguri-based MTT pro FT-ed three flagship tourneys on Wednesday, adding ₹2.78 Lakhs to his burgeoning bankroll.

The second Wednesday marquee running as part of Spartan Poker’s Daily Poker Marathon, the ₹6 Lakhs GTD Wednesday Vibes, attracted 524 entries to collect a profitable ₹7.86 Lakhs in prize money. Atif ‘LuckyWoolF’ Khan came out on top to win ₹1.31 Lakhs following a heads-up deal with ‘puffpuffpass’ (2nd for ₹1.18 Lakhs).

PokerStars India’s ₹3 Lakhs GTD Night on Stars brought together 248 challengers, and 31 places got paid a share from the ₹3.10 Lakhs prize pool. After precisely six hours and 43 minutes of intense action, site-reg ‘PabloDEscobar’ was the last player standing and won ₹59,609, with ‘DogaXII’ placing runner-up for ₹44,767. Spartan Poker’s ₹25 Lakhs GTD Destiny offered the most massive prize pool guarantee among all the Wednesday flagships running across sites. The fifth edition of the Destiny 19.0 series logged in 581 entrants, and less than 10%, i.e., 50 runners, got a share of the ₹29.05 Lakhs prize pool.

Nitin ‘Demogorgon’ Arora came incredibly close to taking down a record-extending fifth Destiny title last night.
