Once again, it was Spartan Poker that played host to the biggest tournament on offer on Wednesday, the Destiny₹40 Lakhs GTD. The marquee tourney logged in 904 entries (396 unique, 203 re-entries, and 305 re-buys) that helped generate a guarantee-crushing prize pool of ₹46.70 Lakhs. Outplaying the reg-infested field to join the long list of seven-figure winners on Spartan Poker was Rajesh ‘RULS’ Singh. Singh defeated seasoned pro Dhaval ‘MandirYahinBanayenge’ Mudgal (2nd for ₹7 Lakhs) heads-up to bank ₹11.67 Lakhs. The victory also got Singh a seat on the Destiny 14.0 SnG Finale that is to take place on May 3!
The other marquee at Spartan Poker was the Mega Freeze ₹6 Lakhs GTD that registered 198 participants, falling ₹6,000 short on the posted guarantee. Kamal ‘ZenMasterEgo’ Bhatter ran past the competition and won ₹1.15 Lakhs in prize money following a heads-up deal with ‘whateverhaha’ (2nd for ₹1.07 Lakhs).
Rounding out the prominent Wednesday winners on Spartan Poker was ‘Spotzero,’ who raced to the top of a 420-strong entry field (227 unique, 55 re-entries, and 138 re-buys), in the Destiny Junior ₹5 Lakhs GTD to win ₹1.66 Lakhs.
Moving over to PokerBaazi, The Pride ₹10 Lakhs GTD clocked in 474 entries (240 unique entrants and 234 re-entries), obliterating the advertised guarantee with a prize pool collection of ₹14.22 Lakhs. A mystery user ‘luckbox99’ took down the title, winning ₹2.86 Lakhs in the process.
The signature Wednesday tourney on Adda52, the Maverick ₹10 Lakhs GTD, posted a prize pool worth ₹15.49 Lakhs on the back of a 681-entry field (355 unique and 326 re-entries). Young Gun Gaurav ‘gauravarod’ Sood added yet another title to his name by taking down the tourney for ₹3.56 Lakhs, denying Rishabh ‘rishlangda’ Baj (runner-up for ₹2.05 Lakhs) the chance.
The biggest tourney to run its course on PokerStars India was the Night on Stars ₹10 Lakhs GTD. Logging in 393 entries (211 unique and 182 re-entries), the tourney registered a ₹17,500 shortfall on the posted guarantee. In the end, it was PokerGuru Ambassador Ashish ‘Spewushhhiiiii’ Ahuja, who crossed swords with the mystery phenom ‘rajmachawal’ for the title. Ahuja went on to take down the title to walk away with the ₹1.81 Lakhs top prize. The runner-up finisher ‘rajmachawal’ banked ₹1.32 Lakhs.

Rajesh ‘RULS’ Singh came out on top to become the latest Destiny champion, pocketing ₹11.67 Lakhs for the win. He had to work hard for the victory as his heads-up opponent was the former WPT Vietnam Main Event champion Dhaval ‘MandirYahinBanayenge’ Mudgal (runner-up for ₹7 Lakhs).
